The staff are just the rudest and most miserable people on earth. The old guy there only knew how to yell at little people and especially little kids. One little boy asked him about his jammed gun and just got yelled at badly he almost teared. He loves putting people down to make himself feel good and more special. The place is super small, dark and smells worst than a sewer. All the equipment they rent you are shot up and in the worst condition. My gun would not fire properly and no one there knew how to fix it. They also refused to switch guns for me so I had to play with a broken gun. The masks they provided were so scratched up, it is hard to see where you are going especially in the dark. I asked to switch my mask and the old guy yelled that it didn't really matter which one I had, they were all like that. The suit they provide you are unwashed and most of them were super soggy from previous players. DISGUSTING! The gameplay there were all the same no matter what type of match you play (capture the flag, president, dodgeball). Because of how the size of the court and how it is set up, everyone just ends up hiding and no one ever wins or loses. It always ends up with players on two sides shooting at each other until time runs out disregarding which game type it is (a lot of blind firing). There are no refs on the court and people are dishonest. Only one guy standing by the exit yelling at people to put their safety on. Though it is cheap with the groupon... it is not worth a penny. There are much better places than Defcon (Victoria Park). You do not deserve to pay to get yelled at and degraded. Highly NOT recommended.

Since I'm in Ontario, about a 5 hour drive, I fail to understand why my order was sent to the other end of the country unless they put the wrong address on the package and I have no way to see that! Although paintball is a pretty expensive hobby, they do have coupons and Groupons online to make your experience a little bit more fun. They have a wide variety of games like Zombies, King of the Hill, CTF and generic elimination. The terrain is great for paintball (sand with a lot of structures and obstacles to roam around). Only problem is that it's indoors, which can get incredibly sweaty which may cause your mask to fog up, which is always fun being blind while getting shot.

Place was disgusting, THE TOILETS reeked and you can smell it down the hall, there's 1 toilet per gender so you can imagine how much it gets used. It's completely unsafe, the place was so understaffed they didn't even check waivers or people's gears. Some people were using guns with a PSI rating wayy too strong for what gear they give to the public. Clearly the owners are greedy, the prices are crazy it's almost 3 times what you pay for outside for paint balls and bear in mind they get supply shipments for it. But holy hell, of course their buisness comes from parties so why even try to make the prices even remotely believable. The Paint ball arena was fine, if you're a rookie be ready to be so dirty you throw away your shoes at the end of the day. Some places were very slippery and steep even though we are signed up for it we saw two people break their ankles that day. Overall, It's cheaper to buy your own gear and have a paintball party at someone's back yard than to ever plan a party bere. Absolute bonkers.

Tucked deep away inside an outdoor plaza complex at the northwest corner of Highway 7 and West Beaver Creek, the location is small, but not overcrowded, so you'll surely find what you need and want. Many military paraphernalia on sale are much cheaper than many army surplus stores in Toronto. Creative stocks many other new outdoor and tactical gear at decent prices. Perhaps you could also be interested in a riot helmet to go along with a machete? Gave me a great discount. First time going paintballing. Played paintball at the Hamilton location last Saturday, Oct 21, 2017. Friendly staff, though we did get a bit left behind by our group's referee at first. As it turns out, all referees welcome you into their group. This means you get to play at your own pace, take breaks when you need to, go for food whenever you feel like it. First 100 paintballs must be purchased with deposit, if getting VIP tickets from a booth. Additional paintballs are available on site (We paid $140 for a pack of 2000 paintballs and split it between 7 people. In addition to the 100 paintballs with the deposit, this meant we had enough balls to last us from 10am to 3pm). Paintball jumpsuits at the Hamilton location were meh. I'm a small person (5'2) so the suits were a little big on me. Everyone else in our party was fine. Suits are thin and sometimes torn. It gets hot runing around in the hazmat-like suits. Kids get cool camo canvas suits that are thicker than the adult jumpsuits. Would recommend wearing longsleeved shirts and cargo pants, if you have them. The jumpsuits are the only reason I would've given this review 4.5 stars if possible, but given that the other two reviews are unfounded I will settle with a slightly generous 5 star review. General review of paintball as an activity: Paintball is an expensive but fun game to play with a group of people who are at the same level as you (e.g. all beginners). We did get some bruises, but getting shot doesn't hurt too much. All around, it was a good time. (Sidenote: It's funny how the only other Yelp reviews, both negative, are from people who didn't even make it to the paintball field. Why wouldn't you ask WHERE the paintball location was? That's just silly.)
