Things I don't like: the chick doing my nails gave me the hard sell for a gel manicure, which means I will practically have to sand my finger nails off to get this type of polish off, which can be a good thing because it lasts hella long. I got a French manicure (because I am classy as fuck) but I am not crazy about it (too much white at the tips, also she rounded my nails too much which make my hands look less like sexy hand model hands and more like big dumb polar bear paws). So I'm kind of stuck with it for while. Oh in the things I like paragraph I forgot to mention that the chick doing my nails and some other guy who worked there were both singing or humming along to the songs that came over the radio, which was kind of fun and not nearly as hella annoying as it sounds. After one too many disappointments, my daughter and I decided to try Paris Nails to celebrate her birthday. What a great decision! I had Ken as my nail technician, and he was nothing short of outstanding. He gave me the perfect pedicure, and my manicure turned out amazing. Ken really listened to what I wanted and offered thoughtful solutions based on my needs. This was a top-tier experience, and I will definitely be coming back to see Ken! During my pedicure the lady forgot to turn the water off and it literally over flowed onto the floor... all over my birks and my coach purse - thank goodness I didn't bring my LV that day! Anyway, she did wipe my shoes and the purse but the damage was already done. My shoes were soaked and my was purse soggy. If you come here for a pedi you may just want to bring a towel and pair of crocs. Also just to end it all off, my toenails were practically filed to the cuticle and it hurt but she kept filing them. I went on a Saturday afternoon and I was surprised to see how empty it was. I was immediately greeted, asked to select my polish and guided to a massage chair. It's a pretty large place with lots of stations for children's pedicures, adult manicures, and pedicures. I believe there are waxing rooms in the back. The massage chairs are pretty cool because both the back and the seat massage you. I was handed a menu so that I could select my services. I added on a paraffin treatment because my feet were desperately in need of some moisture and pampering. It was a great and thorough and relaxing pedicure and I was happy to see that they had drying stations near the front so I could sit for a while and allow my toes to dry.
