Fabulous outdoor paintball venue located 1 mile north of Morinville…read more You can book a private party with a minimum of 6 players - this includes a ref for up to 4 hours. You can also play against other parties of people. There are multiple "maps" such as city, Forrest, balloons, White Castle and more! We have been 4 times now and the staff are pretty awesome! You can bring your own guns and gear but need to purchase their ammunition. Now don't get me wrong, paintball is an expensive hobby or birthday party but this place does it right! I love the multiple venue options and the ability to take breaks, bring your own food, and just enjoy the fresh air! For a party of 10 - expect to spend around $450 on rentals and ammunition. Again this will vary depending if you have a few kids wasting ammo and just spraying bullets. When I come with my kids, 200 bullets will last me 3 hours. But I had kids go through 400-500 each today even with reminders. Another cool thing here is that they offer low compression guns if you've got people nervous to be shot as well as the higher air pressure guns. Although, I've been shot with both and unless you get whipped by a bullet close up, it's really not that bad. 4 hours of play today and I think we only had a couple very minor war wounds in our group. As far as accessibility goes, it's a gravel road and the venue can get pretty muddy depending on weather. Also there is no running water - just port a potties. They have ample picnic tables and a covered tall shed area with picnic tables in case it rains or if you need a reprieve from the sun. Thanks SPG for another great birthday party! PS One suggestion would be to offer a coupon to give birthday party kiddos an incentive to return with their friends/family. Although, we came here the first time for a party and were immediately hooked and keep coming back :-)

When we arrived with the entire birthday party there were not enough guns for them. They did not get to play paintball (which is what my son really wanted for his birthday) and we lost a ton of money doing something he didn't want to do. One of my favourite places to release stress and pretend I'm Rambo for a day!!…read more (Yes, running along dark corridors, guns a blazin', kicking doors, shooting everything that moves with not nearly the accuracy I wish I had... but the adrenaline rush is well worth it lol!) It seems every time I come back there's something new or something changed here, like the new name changed from Capital Airsoft, or newer rentals, better gear, improving/changing layout of the 'map' (area you shoot in), different game plays.... I definitely like this place more now than my first visit here, as they try to keep things fresh by changing up the layout every so often, moving around objects and items that aren't permanently bolted to the floor or ceiling (doors, crates, windows, barrels, other hiding places, etc). The viewing area is also a huge improvement compared to before, sporting a couple new windows that peek into the semi-dark-lit gaming area, watching players getting picked off by opposing forces. Or, it's also a nice space to clear the tables and whip out some board games haha! The staff are also pretty good at suiting up us newbies, or having more intense intellectual conversations with the more seasoned players on upgrades, problems, solutions, and other cool stuff. Fun fact: The building also has another space on the main floor (Airsoft being upstairs), where wicked fencing-sword training and Krav Maga are happening! Sounds super cool and planning to check those out soon!!

This place is great. Is it the biggest...no…read more Fanciest...no. But it's staffed by people who love the game. And that means a lot. Edmonton has onlh a couple of choices for indoor paintball, and in the dead of winter. This is the place to play. It is primarily greared toward speedball, but, of course, all rental gear is woodsball equipment. As an equipment owner, this is the only indooor field I want to play at. The prices are considerably better for owners than anywhere else. This is where a great new hobby/sport can be experienced in controlled environment. In the summer, they have a comparably sized outdoor field in the back to play on as well!

This location is simply a speedball field just in case your wondering haha!…read more So my opinion of this facility time. The field is very well set up and clean, the staff is beyond knowledgable and very very nice! There is a pro shop upstairs which is awesome and very well stocked at all times with a tech behind the counter at all times that is willing to help you with any problems you have with your personal marker. The ONLY reason this field does not get a 5/5 with me is because I am not a huge fan of speedball haha. I have never had a "bad" experience here with anything or anyone, absolutely worth the time and money to play at this field

There is also a target practise area for the smaller kids or those who may not feel too comfortable to go play in the larger zone. This is great for the little kids and let's them have a good time too. There are party rooms available for cake and food and presents. The party rooms have table and chairs and even a TV set up so if some kids really don't want to play they can watch a movie in the room while they wait for the other kids. The staff at Foam Fighters are so friendly and helpful and great with kids of all ages. They are really understanding and help guide the kids on what to do. It's nice to have a place where you can release your frustrations without suffering much in the way of injuries/bruises like paintball or Airsoft haha! The menu item samples they were handing out were so delicious that I look forward to just coming back for their cafe, like the homemade pizza and popcorn cups. Yum! Being the nerdy person I am, the periodic table of menu items was also appealing, including the gamey signage posted in the building The vast variety of different nerf guns was also exciting and surprising, and they also have bows/arrows! Having…read morebeen in the Edmonton south common store a few days before, and observing many in stock, the deal was too good not to order. As I placed my order, it indicated that the downtown store was "Next Day Pick Up". Given that I wanted to pick up as soon as possible, I selected the downtown store, even though the location is terribly inconvenient for me. Approximately 24 hours later, I called the downtown store, whom after about 25 mins on the phone with various people, told me they had no record of the purchase. Of course, I couldn't go pick up the jacket, the next day, at a location that was inconvenient, because MEC hadn't even processed the Order as of yet. Great. I called the customer service line and spoke to a male who told me "this sale has caught us completely off guard and we're overwhelmed". No kidding?? The male told me that there had been staff cutbacks this year, due to how slow it had been, but suddenly the sale has regenerated sales that have overwhelmed the existing employees Ok ... the spokesperson then told me that my jacket was in Winnipeg and had to be shipped to Edmonton! What is going on here, MEC?? You hold a Black Friday sale and you're overwhelmed??? Then my next day pick up, at this inconvenient location, is in Winnipeg??? The kicker is December 16, 2024, I received an email from MEC telling me that my order has been cancelled. My goodness. I've been a supporter of MEC for over 25 years, and have never seen such awful customer service or a absolute lack of responsibility in fulfilling an order - for that matter, I don't think I've ever had a more disappointing exchange with any store, ever, than this experience. I will never again shop at MEC. Shame on you, MEC. Not the MEC I once knew

When we got there we had to wait a 1hr and 45 min just to get the instructions. The gear was gross smelling as if it hadnt been clean. The marshalls dont enforce the rules, so even if they say dont shoot some of the players we played against shot anyways. The Marshall had to run on the field with hands up yelling dont shoot. Dont shoot. This is not a place to bring kids who want to enjoy their time or even first time players. We had explained a few members in our group had experience and the marshall had said these children know what theyre getting into. When you get hit and sit of to the side gun down, the other team would still shoot and the marshall did absolutely nothing about it. I am never coming back here even if they offer these booklets at the discounted rate i bought it for. If you're looking for a place that is better i would recommend any other place than this one. We were assured our team would only play against each other as we had some new and young players, and pre-payed for 20 players, all of which showed up. Sadly, they had majorly over-booked their facilities, 220 players spread over 3 mid to small fields and one moderate sized one. They also mashed our 20 person group in with another 20 person group, who were shot-gunning beers in the parking lot between rounds and consistently shooting people on the same team in the back. The Field Rangers had very little experience with implementing game rules, and a lack of experience in game types and teams start-off spacing. Not only did this event cost our group hundreds of dollars, but a number of people were moderately hurt with close range friendly fire. After the second game we questioned our situation, being that we had booked months in advance and though perhaps we could reschedule, however there is NO refunds policy, no matter what the reason. In my opinion, this establishment is an embarrassment to International Paintball Group, and creates a bad image for paintball companies in general. I will NEVER be returning to this facility, nor would I recommend it to anyone.
