If i could give 0 stars i would. We bought two booklets of coupons from the mall at a cheap rate of 60$ for 20 people. And just paid for paint. When we got there we had to wait a 1hr and 45 min just to get the instructions. The gear was gross smelling as if it hadnt been clean. The marshalls dont enforce the rules, so even if they say dont shoot some of the players we played against shot anyways. The Marshall had to run on the field with hands up yelling dont shoot. Dont shoot. This is not a place to bring kids who want to enjoy their time or even first time players. We had explained a few members in our group had experience and the marshall had said these children know what theyre getting into. When you get hit and sit of to the side gun down, the other team would still shoot and the marshall did absolutely nothing about it. I am never coming back here even if they offer these booklets at the discounted rate i bought it for. If you're looking for a place that is better i would recommend any other place than this one. I would rate 0/5 if possible. My family and I attended an event at this range on May 26th, 2014. We were assured our team would only play against each other as we had some new and young players, and pre-payed for 20 players, all of which showed up. Sadly, they had majorly over-booked their facilities, 220 players spread over 3 mid to small fields and one moderate sized one. They also mashed our 20 person group in with another 20 person group, who were shot-gunning beers in the parking lot between rounds and consistently shooting people on the same team in the back. The Field Rangers had very little experience with implementing game rules, and a lack of experience in game types and teams start-off spacing. Not only did this event cost our group hundreds of dollars, but a number of people were moderately hurt with close range friendly fire. After the second game we questioned our situation, being that we had booked months in advance and though perhaps we could reschedule, however there is NO refunds policy, no matter what the reason. In my opinion, this establishment is an embarrassment to International Paintball Group, and creates a bad image for paintball companies in general. I will NEVER be returning to this facility, nor would I recommend it to anyone. read more

We purchased a bulk ticket for 99 dollars with the promise that paint balls were 8.95 for 200 or more and you could purchase only 200. When we went to the Sherwood park place the prices were substantially higher. I contacted the person listed for selling the item, asked the manager to have there district manager contact me, wrote them several times and no actual follow through on the fraudulent information. I saw the same group at Klondike days and they said the same information. With the correct information on costs the place could be fun, however it is clear this is a scam operation. For the love of god DO NOT BUY ANY VOUCHERS FROM THESE GUYS!!!! I picked up 3 books in January that were apparently worth 900 that included equipment and some paintballs but this was a total lie!!!! The course wasn't even open yet!!! And these 25$ Tickets,That I have like 50 of , DO NOT get you playing paint ball, unless you want to get on the course with only a gun. It's actually $13.50 for an "Administration fee" and that 13.50 will give you 100 paintballs, and it's $15.00 for every additional 100!!!!! Thats 50% more than the competition, which we will call umm I don't know, Young....Lungs. I called IPG up and yeah no course open, you have to pay out the who-ha, and it's totally expensive.. DO NOT GO HERE!! This is a terrible place to go!! FIRST I get it that if you are looking to go here you probably do not play regularly and that is completely normal and ok! I will explain to you why this is a terrible location and a beyond bad company who is killing the sport. FIRST what really really bothers me! The paint they sell is called Inka, you are able to purchase this online for $50 for a case (2000 rounds) and this company charges $100 for half a case (1000 rounds)!!!!! Considering they are buying this paint in bulk at a discounted cost!!! In you go to any other facility,for example young guns, you get actual high grade custom paint at cost! Next they claim they have Hollywood sets or some cap, ugh their fields suck! Their staff have no clue what they are doing either! They are not friendly to regular players at all. I am sorry, I rarely hate on any one location but in the ACTUAL paintball community this place is complete garbage crap killing all actual good paintball locations! Would not recommend anyone going to this delta force location. We had a group of 9 people that are veterans, that play pb multiple times every year. Here are some issues. 1) long wait times. We had to wait over 3 hours to play 2 games of 20 mins each. 2) overcrowded! Dont think your playing with your group of friends, you WILL be split up and forced to "even out the playing field" of 70+ people in a SINGLE round. 3) The rules are strict but no one enforces them. If a stag party is rolling through, be prepared to get shot multiple times when your standing at the respawn or dead location. Not child/noob friendly at all. 4) Expensive even if you grab the coupons. 5) guns dont work. I personally ran out of air before i ran out of 1 hopper of paint. 6) The equipment they give you are suspiciously smelly. As if they are half ass cleaned. Be prepared to huff a dirty sock all day in the hot sun. Go to another place, plain and simple. Much love :) read more

I'm not sure how to rate this company. I bought the "SALE" ticket book from the mall - $99 for two books. They offered me a single book for $99 but when I declined, they pulled the ole "I need to make quota so I'll throw in another if you get it now". The tickets give you ten "Free games" valued at $25 per game. When you get there you have to purchase the first 100 balls for $12.99. I don't think this is bad, although the paint was more expensive then competitors. Four of us played for a total of $165.20. We purchased 1200 painballs total and 4 pairs of Delta Force gloves($7/pr) 2 of us had our own equipment. The other two were fully outfitted by Delta Force, including protective vests. At $41.30 per person, I thought it worked out to a good price. Well organized, we called and got a call center(All Aussies/New Zealanders on the phones?) and booked to get an email and phone call reminder. It was well organized. We did get a last minute change from them in time from 9-4pm to 12-4pm, although the time we were their was ample. We started a few minutes late as we were waiting for another group who were running behind. When we went in, our group were split up with the other groups. I wasn't sure how to feel about this as I have joined other groups before with negative results, but it was either the other groups were good people or because of the overall organization it took away problems, but we enjoyed the people! The rules vary in that the safety area ISN'T aloud guns with gas bottles attached to come into it at all. All guns, rentals and owned alike are left in a covered shed. Because we were all one group they seemed safe and I felt better that no dummies forgot plugs or are waving their guns around - or worse, some fields-rhymes with young ones, often don't have field marshals in the safety areas and some guys are shooting in the area! Other rules are - Shots to the head don't count as a kill, no mercy kill, but no shooting within 10 feet, no blind shooting and absolutely NO removal of your mask outside the safety area. What makes that last rules different is that the safety area is at the entrance of the field and too far to walk after you get shot. You are leaving your mask on for up to 30 minutes without reprieve. This is a negative but worth the safety. The Zombie and tank field were great! Speedball sucked as it is all made up of barrels stacked pyramid style and in line. I'm not a big speedballer anyway so the four games on that field were too much for me. The field lacks a store so you had better come prepared. So why 3 stars? Losers: -I'm not a big fan of the "hustle" regarding buying the coupon books for what ends up being not as good a deal as advertised. -The manager was from New Zealand and they had a construction crew coming from Australia to build 2 new fields. The company is owned by a company out of the UK but Aussies run it. I don't like that my money is leaving the local economy. -Their were only three fields. Although two more will be built early this summer. -The Paint was considerably more expensive then the competition. (Likely to make up for the bargain coupon books, but that's not really acceptable) Winners; -The manager. Very personable, hard working and well organized. He had a good staff and everything was well run. Thx Clint! -The terrain is second to none. Built in a creek ravine, this is one of the highest potential gaming zones I have seen. -Two field marshals meant we were following rules and safe. The best part? They worked. They didn't sit together and talk, they worked hard, solved problems and made sure we enjoyed it. Summarizing, I will be back to use up my coupons, but it isn't the conclusion in my quest to find the perfect field. read more

I thought the place was qutie pricey with the extra costs for the paintballs and I wish they could have better deals for that. But regardless of that I thought the place was lots of fun and family friendly. The marshals were kind, funny people that can relate with others qutie well. They are very welcoming and accomdate all players according to ages or history of playing. I liked the breaks they have between the games so players can have some rest. I also like how energetic the marshals are, they hype you up making you have such more fun. My whole family had a lot of fun playing paintball throughout the day. My father got suckered into buying one of those IPG coupon/certificate for 10 people. I am not sure how much he paid but he gave it to me as a gift. I had to phone the international phone number to make the appropriate reservation using the certificate. They indicated that an additional $13 dollars per person was required before the booking can be completed. I tried to phone the local painball venue, to see if this was all legit, only to find out that your stuck dealing with the same foreign booking adjacency. I inquired if I could speak to a local representative. It seems they can not provide that information. I am not comfortable booking in this manner so am going to pass/skip this potentially great or bad experience. From other reviews seems like a waste of time and truly displease this type of the business model.... scammy, prey on the weak tactic, and persistent pressure to make a booking or purchase the certificate. read more

This place is terrible. What a rip off! They charge 6% on top the the total taxed amount if you use a debit card or a credit card. The worst part is that the cashier doesn't even tell you nor is it written by the pay area. When I asked for a detailed receipt they say their machine is broken. $99 for 1000 paintballs turns into $112. The playing fields are mediocre at best and if you want to have a game between just friends, you'll have to pay $200 dollars more. Never coming back to this place. read more

Absolute trash. The people who own this paintball field are money grubbing asswipes. Malicious marketing, blatant deception, and terrible service. First of all, you're forced to not ONLY pay a 26$ entrance fee, but also EVERY SINGLE PERSON is forced to pay a mandatory minimum of another 55$ dollars. Even though we called them and they said we could split packages, when we showed up, they "conveniently" changed their policies to not allow splitting of packages. Even after paying these outrageous prices, you're not even given your own private area for your group. You're placed with strangers you don't even know, in a small confined area, with equipment you're LACKING because you won't buy a specific package. I'm in disbelief how you're not given the full proper protection because you won't purchase a certain package. We went there in groups. First, they cut the activities from the whole day to only 2 games, only two!!! Man, if you see this, don't use the coupoun since they will also cut the fun by 60%. They also gave me a very bad gun, and ingore my requist to change an another one. "Every gun leaks", that is what they said. After all, the leak gun doesn't shoot out one bullet the whole day(well, only until 2 pm because they cut out the activities). Then they claim that is because the weather. But not willing to change the gun is definatly about the service there. They let me stand there, not allow me to go back to camp to change the gun, not allow me to talk to the maneger because the maneger maybe got pissy. AND that guy said this with anger!!! Whai did I do? I just told them I need a new gun, and that's it! Another lady woking there also told me to change the gun because she found my gun was leaking. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I WAS TREATED LIKE THIS!!! So they don't fix problem there, instead, they let you to suffer all of these, and claim this is all weather's fault. I don't understand if this is true, why can not give me another gun? So this is not the weather, this is all about the will to provide a better service. My friedns finally found this and one exange her gun with me. if you are lucky, hope you won't see this situation. Good luck to your guys, if you really want to go there. But remember do not use the discount. And maybe enjoy the bad service there. If paintball guys saw this, please remember, service is more important than the equipment, and try you best to fix the problem instead of hiding it. On Dec 19th 2015 I purchased a total of 20 tickets from IPG. During the transaction I was promised "value" with the ticket at a specific course in Southern Alberta. In February of 2016 I called said location to book a group of 10. After inquiring about some pricing I found out there was no value in the ticket at all. There was no savings and actually would cost me more to upgrade to the level of gun I wanted using the ticket then not. I had phoned in and was told I was outside the time limit for refunds, and if I was to pursue I would need to mail the tickets to a PO box location that you cannot contact via phone. I have just received the tickets back in the mail saying the same thing the person on the service line said. At no time did someone from this mailing location phone me or follow up. I spent a total of 93.45 and now shipping of the tickets. I was lied to during the transaction that this location had savings. The sales person was fully aware of the location I was speaking of and knew this was the only location I could attend due to family restrictions. I have since filed a complaint at the BBB of Canada.
