The owner put my son's birthday party in his schedule for the wrong day (even after we received multiple confirmation emails). When we arrived with the entire birthday party there were not enough guns for them. They did not get to play paintball (which is what my son really wanted for his birthday) and we lost a ton of money doing something he didn't want to do. One of my favourite places to release stress and pretend I'm Rambo for a day!! (Yes, running along dark corridors, guns a blazin', kicking doors, shooting everything that moves with not nearly the accuracy I wish I had... but the adrenaline rush is well worth it lol!) It seems every time I come back there's something new or something changed here, like the new name changed from Capital Airsoft, or newer rentals, better gear, improving/changing layout of the 'map' (area you shoot in), different game plays.... I definitely like this place more now than my first visit here, as they try to keep things fresh by changing up the layout every so often, moving around objects and items that aren't permanently bolted to the floor or ceiling (doors, crates, windows, barrels, other hiding places, etc). The viewing area is also a huge improvement compared to before, sporting a couple new windows that peek into the semi-dark-lit gaming area, watching players getting picked off by opposing forces. Or, it's also a nice space to clear the tables and whip out some board games haha! The staff are also pretty good at suiting up us newbies, or having more intense intellectual conversations with the more seasoned players on upgrades, problems, solutions, and other cool stuff. Fun fact: The building also has another space on the main floor (Airsoft being upstairs), where wicked fencing-sword training and Krav Maga are happening! Coming around ever month or so and great place to enjoy. I ended up buying my own gear in 2021 as my love for the sport. Only downside is there is not much variety in the shop for weaponry and only a few set of things but either than that are there are so much pros. read more

What can I say about my experience here? Nothing but fun! I got the chance to check out Capital Airsoft on their media day, so it was relatively quiet. But quiet doesn't mean boring! Jeff, the owner of the business, gave us a lot of great information about the business and the game. He brought in some guys from local Airsoft leagues to make sure that we got the full experience. I have to admit though, walking into Capital Airsoft was slightly intimidating if you haven't been involved in the past. The guns look so realistic, and watching all the other players walking through the door in full camo gear? It makes you a little nervous! But to be honest? There is nothing to be worried about! The whole experience was a great time - we played a round and got to see what it was like. They have a pretty decent set-up, and lots of great places to hide if you don't want to get too involved in the game (lol). Congrats to Jeff and his crew on this great new addition to Edmonton! We tried this fun Airsoft place out in October 2015. They have gear to rent and volunteer staff to get you all suited up with face masks and weapons. A good idea to make sure you bring gloves. It was a bit pricey but the best part was there was no time constraints for how long we wanted to play. They have areas to store your belongings and a seating area to take breaks - usually they have cameras up so you can watch what's going on in the field but they were down when we went. The warehouse building was a bit difficult to find the entrance. The field is indoor and is super dark adding to the intensity for sure. The rental guns did have quite a few problems but at least we were able to trade them out over and over again in the hopes of having one that wouldn't jam, etc. They did encourage people to bring the rubber knives so if you are close to someone they would rather you stab them than shoot them- but I did hear of multiple of my friends being shot at very close range. The highlight was the variety of games. Themed game rounds made it dynamic and different. The most memorable one was the teddy bear round. read more

First time here and wow. The place is quite big but shared among other businesses like a martial arts class. Parking is big and only open when they are open. Second floor is the airsoft room. If you need accessories or to purchase airsoft weaponry you can on the main floor as soon as you enter. Upstairs you pay for admission, rentals, and waiver fees. The hallway is filled with tables to put your gear and loading up for battle. Once ready they will inform everyone of next battle start up. Rules are explained if it's your first time there. There is a table area to chill and hang out if your not going to play and protective windows to see other players in the battlefield but it's only partial view not a whole view of the area. If your bringing your own airsoft weapons you need to have it checked for fps due to rules and regulations. Best to come with a friend however when teams are made there is 50/50 chance you'll be separated which is lame but I guess it's to even out top players or aggressive ones in some cases. I found that wearing no camo and too much clothing can get hot when your running around and also friendly fire hurts because their close to you. Atmosphere is half dark and lighting is not clear so beware of where you go unless you've been here multiple of times. When getting shot it feels like a rubber-band slingshot but with adrenaline pumping you won't notice that it causes bruising until after you take off your gear. My tip would be to wear sufficient gear and green woodland or black camo due to indoors it can be dark. Recommended for airsoft enthusiasts or something less painful then Paintballs. read more

If you're not a military or law enforcement peep, or even a big paintball/airsoft geek like me, then this probably isn't a business that you would ever patronize. However, if you are any of those, then you will love, love, LOVE this joint! My paintball & airsoft team (yes, we play both) arranged to try this place out to work on some CQB tactics, and I must say, after I managed to find the place, I was pretty impressed. If you have you own gear, you get a discount on the field rate; if not, don't fret - there are a variety of gear rental options. They also have a small airsoft pro-shop, complete with a tech dude who can sort out any problems you may be having with your toys. read more

Pretty expensive during the weekend you can do so much more with a small group at 60+ $ each than this. During the week 40$ is fair in my opinion with rental. There is always different people so you face different people each game most of the time The equipment is 3x the price than I'd you look online. For example I purchased a half mask and Goggle here for $100. At cabelas they had it for $34 and online for I could get both for $25 when I started to research. I got a very nice black seat style pants, swat style black vest and leg holster for $150 at army surplus. Here they wanted 150 just for a tactical vest which was not as nice or as high a quality than I got for 80 at the surplus Imo. The guns are mostly g&g which is a medium level brand not poor but not high. They have some decent deals. If you are a beginner you can get a decent gun here for a ok price. I play here during the week it's a lot of fun. I shopped here once and will not purchase anything here again as the prices are a little far out there for the most part.
