This 400 meter meandering track weaves around a picturesque landscape where you can have a chill glide and let your imagination wander. After dark, the decorative lanterns with cutout patterns cast a magical glow onto the frozen course. It's open 10:00am-10:00pm The skate "shack" is now a gorgeous facility with lockers, nice bathrooms and fountains. Plenty of bench seating where you can change your skates. Stow you boots underneath. Floor to ceiling windows for viewing. Now if El Niño would cooperate and give us some freezing temperatures so we actually have ice.

My wife didn't believe me that there actually was a bowling alley in this off-the-beaten path location, but it's there and it's awesome. Walking into KJ is like taking a step back in time. Not much has changed over the years, but that's the way I like it. Like most of the neighbourhood bowling alleys that still exist, it's the Canadian standard five pin. It's never really busy, so you never have to wait for a lane to be open. Just show up, slip on some shoes and start knocking the pins down. My wife and I have started going there a bit more often for little mini dates . It's so close to our house and if we're looking to get out of the house and do something together for a little bit, this always fits the bill.

Decorations in the building are "spooky" without being too scary or weird for little kids. They've got an arcade to play in while you wait to get golfing, as well as prizes you can collect tickets to win. The course is made up of 18 holes, each with varying levels of difficulty and obstacle blocking your way. The staff will occasionally call out challenges for you to do while golfing, like swinging the club between your knees (granny style!) or behind your back. Tons of fun! Things usually move along pretty smoothl. There are certain holes that bottleneck up so don't be surprised if you have to wait a little while to get onto the next hole. Luckily the music is awesome so you can jam along while you wait. The mini golf is also super affordable! I think I paid $25 for 4 games (groupon!). They also hand out free play vouchers to the loser, which is the cherry on top!

The staff were friendly and very good with the kids. I loved the separate party areas where you can enjoy cake and present opening with guests. I had moments where I couldn't see my son because it was so dark. My son said some of the decor was a bit too scary for him. It felt like Halloween. I could see what he meant that it would be scary for young kids. Overall, a cool place to host a party.

This was the place of start and finish line for the MS Bike ride of Leduc Camrose (previously held at the Ritchie Bros auction centre). I worked there as a volunteer - first time was at the food services / barbecue of the finish line, then this year as setting up for the event. It seems like a good place for amateur hockey players, and well located for sports and activities.

This Ally has many lanes, most of which were empty this evening. Tonight was a GLOW NIGHT EVENT. The alleys were dark. More dark than anticipated. The only glow we experienced was At each entry point. The lanes, seating areas do not illuminate. lanes were well-maintained. Bummer experience, Due to extreme darkness and melancholy country music that played throughout our visit. We enjoy country, but the evening was filled with slow jams, not reminiscent of a fun family night out.... not what we thought we were signing up for. One employee stated the music was the morning cleaning crews choice. Another staff member stated the manager had the password to change the music, despite an inquiry, three hours into our excursion and upon our departure the melancholy music remained. We ordered several menu items, drinks which were mediocre. We made the best of an unfortunate situation, DISMAL. Looking forward to booking with another Alley in the future.

It is really nice having the full bathrooms in the complex to change and have bathroom breaks. The only thing I would like to see added is picnic tables on the outside to eat lunch at. Definitely worth the drive from Edmonton to visit.
