Cute little place to bring the artist out of you. Friendly staff It was intimidating at first but the instructors were most helpful for us non-artist. In the end what you thought looked like your blob, it actuall became a piece of art ! Thank you for a wonderful evening after a stressful week.

came here for valentines today and had a wonderful time, the owners were lovely and great teachers! it was a very fun experience and i learned a lot. definitely coming back!!

From the close and easy parking to the cleanliness of the facility itself to the overwhelming friendliness and professionalism of Michael and the team there, I've I could give my experience a 6th star, I absolutely would! None of our group considers ourselves anywhere near artists but we had so much fun and genuinely learned so much! We had no clue we could paint what we did! Such a fun experience with friends! Side note, even if you don't drink wine, there are sodas and snacks available.

Making unique flower art was so much fun!

So fun and unique. We had an exchange student from Japan and wanted to do something unique and Jo Ann was amazing at teaching us how to do flower art. I'm positive our Japanese visitor will be telling everyone about the amazing time she had at this workshop. Thank you Jo Ann for a fun time.

I just left and had the best experience! First off I was delighted by the ease of parking making my visit stress-free right from the start. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the well-designed artistic layout adds to the overall positive experience. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this place offers a great escape... It's truly a hidden gem and I'll definitely be returning, recommending it to friends and they just started doing kids birthdays here so I plan to work with them in the future...what a great find in every way!

I highly recommend this place for so many reasons; therapeutic, relaxing, engaging and entertaining. At first i was hesitant, since I didn't have any experience painting ever in my entire life. With the guidance of the instructor you can follow with ease and be confident with your work. The place is convenient, cozy and they have good selection of wines to sip while doing your artwork! The barista/ assistant was helpful too and assured us we were doing great. It will definitely exceed your expectations plus it's within your budget. It won't be the first, there will be more to visit for me. Juvy M

Michael was so nice!! Parking was easy. Cute studio with yummy snacks + non-alcoholic options. They were so sweet and accommodating regarding the colors as well. Purchased for a date night; would def purchase again for a me-date. Thank you!

What a fantastic evening I and some friends had last night! We arranged a private party for eight couples and it could not have turned out better. Joanne was extremely informative leading up to us booking the location. They have an excellent selection of wines so we chose to consume what they had on premises. We brought our own food and spent a half an hour socializing before the class began. The artwork looked challenging, but the instructor put us all at ease! His step-by-step instructions were fantastic, and before we knew it, we didn't realize that we had over a dozen great artists among us... At least the finish product made us believe so. I can't recommend this highly enough for friends, teambuilding, children, or just go there on one of their open classes.

Had an absolutely wonderful Mom's Night Out at Paint + Unwine! Jo Ann, the owner, was very patient, kind and great to work with when figuring out logistics for our fun little night. Lily, our instructor, was also fantastic! They allow catered food to be brought in and bottles of wine for a corkage fee, and they also offer wine and other beverages for purchase. Overall, the nine of us had an awesome time!! We will definitely be back! Thank you Jo Ann!!

We have painted here 4 times now and we love it. Michael is the best painting instructor ever! We've never painted a day in our lives but with the help of Michael we look like we actually know what we are doing. It's very relaxing and a fun time.

Paul is extremely patient and encouraging and is focused on teaching proper form and developing good habits, while making sure my son enjoys the sport and is meeting his personal goals. My son has improved dramatically, not only by gaining more technical skills, but also by gaining confidence in his abilities. South Bay Archery was also extremely generous and accommodating over the holidays, as our family was searching for a fun activity to do on New Year's eve with some friends. We booked a private party with Coach Paul and Coach Lani and everyone had a wonderful time! They made sure all 9 participants learned proper safety protocols, and taught our group how to shoot since some of us had no prior experience. They kept a good pace, explaining the challenges of shooting from further distances, and made things extra fun by creating a competition at the end, with the winner getting a prize! After that we relaxed and ate in the party room upstairs, which overlooked the shooting area. We all had a GREAT TIME! I encourage anyone looking for a fun group activity to check out South Bay Archery Lessons! I can't say enough about the kind, warm and engaging nature of both Coach Paul and Coach Lani, as well as the exceptional care and professionalism they put into all they do! We wound up at The Axe District and I have to admit, I had so much fun! I had never done anything like this before but Alex, our wonderful instructor showed us techniques so we could be successful at this. She explained the rules, was very thorough in her lesson and answered any questions we had. We were then on our own. After a few throws, I really got the hang of it and surprised myself at how decent I was. The games were all computer generated and it was easy to keep track of everyone's score. They had a variety of games - tik tac toe, darts, zombie hunter and a game where you can upload a picture of an Ex or an unsolicited Instagram picture DMd to you for no specific reason , to use as target practice until you get good at throwing ax's. The Axe District was clean, does not serve food/beverage but allowed you to bring your own. A friend brought a cooler filled with goodies and there was a taco vendor just outside on the sidewalk so we were able to have that as well. I also liked the music played - good variety from Faith No More, Van Halen (David Lee Roth era), De La Soul to Otis Redding; it wasn't too noisy so you could have a conversation. All in all, it was a great way to spend the afternoon and I'm glad I came. It was different, fun and a great introduction to ax throwing. I would come back. A big thank you to Alex who was super nice and made this experience so fun and memorable.

After the event, Mike gave me a follow up call to ask how everything went, which I thought was sweet. Quest Room - Redondo Beach Escape Rooms

This review is shorter than my average only because we had to find a restaurant outside of the mall…read moreto eat - which we did in Manhattan Beach ... Who doesn't want snow for Christmas? And who in Southern California is so ready for no more rain?! Well, we had no idea what awaited us when we made our booking online for Quest Room's Polar Station. For those new to the world of escape rooms, Quest Room is probably the gold standard by which all other rooms are measured, so much so we've done almost - ALMOST - all their rooms, as long as they accommodated two people, because we mostly play as a duo. So we were a little surprised that there was actually a location we had not visited - at South Bay Galleria in Redondo Beach - and more than thrilled that all their rooms welcome 2 players or more. The mall was closed on Christmas Day, so we were grateful to receive not just an email (went straight to the spam folder) but also a text from Quest Room letting us know this in advance, and also where to park. Quest Room was having some electrical problems, so the lobby was dimmer than usual, but we were oblivious to the difference, so excited were we to get started. We had watched (and I had read the book) The Terror on Netflix, and we were quite ready for our own Antarctic adventure. Ours was the first game of the day, and Jason introduced himself as our game host at 11am sharp. We did not need the restrooms this visit but it was offered along with a verbal run through of the game rules. In fewer words than the intriguing writeup on their web site, we "woke up" cold, sore and alive after our research plane crashed in snowy desolation in an abandoned station that we need to get working to call for help. This was like something out of "Yellowjackets" and elicited a similar "ooh!" when we saw the room. The décor was perfect, even with low light, but in theme, and the props were authentic with just the right amount of creep factor. There was no climbing or crawling required, and we wouldn't be concerned with playing the room with the whole family. Polar Station is what we consider a G3 (third generation room with quite a bit of whizzbang and FX) - with a couple of G1 locks, so even though we were advised ahead of time that some locks needed some dedicated (and delicate!) handling, it slowed us to our record-keeping time of ... 44:59 for the 45-minute room! We both agreed that our favourite task was opening the bathroom door and doing the wrapping needed - since it's Christmas! - and the rescue was epic. We felt most challenged with not remembering that we are in South Pole, not North, so crucial elements were topsy-turvy, but all the clues and puzzles were pretty logical and true to theme. Jason did a super job pacing us, and with our photos - which we received even before we got to our car - and we so appreciate his working on Christmas Day. Once again, even though Quest Room is maybe on the higher end as far as cost, they deserve every one of those five stars, both for the room and for our game host. Thank you for letting us have snow for Christmas! We can't wait to visit again in the new year! This review is triplicated on Yelp, Google and TripAdvisor.
