I was directed to Dr. Armstron (for my complaints of chronic pain bilateral in my arms proximal to elbows, especially due to sleep patterns). He would not look at the testing I provided, discredited them without even looking at them. Told me the Fwave test for testing nerve root damage was garbage. Claimed he was the all mighty of the ncv test because he has done 30,000 of them. Insisted on insulting me because of my age, 54. Then proceeded to perform an ncv across my wrist for carpal tunnel syndrome. Had he looked at the previous extensive thorough testing he would see that his redundant test was not needed nor was it an issue of my medical complaint. I was looking to get elbow braces that would limit elbow travel while I sleep. I was going to get them through Amazon but the girlfriend told me to go to the doctor for a prescription since I already pay a large premium for insurance. Little did I know I would open myself up to a jack-as like this guy. I'll go back to Amazon. Kaiser is the worst insurance I have ever had, as well as the most expensive. This doctor also claimed that the government is scheduled to stop paying for NCVs because they are so misused and I have an opinion on that. I have had maybe 6 thorough NCVs and this wrist only NCV. It is a very very objective test when administered by an impartial person. Neurologist are not impartial they know how to administer it to the advantage to whom they play for. Neurologists should be barred from the administration of this vital test and that only technicians should be allowed to do this test. A neurologist should only be allowed to read the objective results. In my opinion this is the worst ego driven doctor I have ever seen. I will be pursuing the return of my co-pays and my time as well as running away from kaiser as fast as I can. Not only that this doctor has sent the pre-existing condition enforcers, within the kaiser domain, after me for payment on something I never wanted or complained about to begin with. If i could give a negative 5 star rating I would. What a waste of time.

Dr. Smith's medical…read morelicense was placed on seven years probation for committing acts of gross negligence, repeated negligent acts, failed to maintain adequate and accurate medical records, and unprofessional conduct in the care and treatment of multiple patients. Also, incompetence in the care and treatment of a patient; and excessively prescribed controlled substances. Effective 10/15/2020, Dr. Smith's license was revoked, stayed, placed on seven years probation until the anticipated end date of 11/14/2027. Unfortunately, Dr. Smith cares about the almighty dollar $$. I can't tell you how many times I heard about his yacht, Rolls Royce and all of his wonderful vacations. He owns the Medical Marijuana Dispensary in his Mission Valley location. He also owns Alcala Labs where he has people's urine tested. He owns the entire building at his Mission Valley location. For many years he charged me $25.00 to have a prior authorization for my opioid pain medication. My insurance company finally told me that I wasn't to be charged for a prior authorization. My attorney had my medical records subpoenaed and I was blown away when I saw records that obviously did not pertain to me. My records were completely in disarray! The front office staff and nurses are rude and dismissive. In fact, I have never seen such a revolving door of various staff hired and fired. I suggest that each and every person who goes to this establishment for care, first read the case for Dr. Smith's medical license # G 66777. Patients have loss their lives and nearly every pain management doctor in San Diego County is cognizant of Dr. Smith and the cases against him. Do not blindly continue care without making sure you are aware of Dr. Smith's medical license restrictions, and the patients who lost their lives. Lastly, Patient Beware!

Twice now, they've made significant mistakes that have affected the receipt of my medication as well as my treatment plan and the need for a set of "diagnostic" injections all over again. These injections are some of the most painful I've ever had and I dread them terribly each time. Ultimately, she developed breast cancer and refused to get treatment because she didn't trust doctors. Eventually, the cancer metastasized throughout her body, and she committed suicide. Then my sister followed suit. She refused to get treatment for her breast cancer until it was too late. She finally let me take her to the ER and was admitted immediately. Then she refused the treatment they proffered because she didn't trust doctors. Unlike my mom and sister, I think medical care is sometimes necessary. So, I go to a doctor when needed. But I'm in charge of my health. Unfortunately, there are lots of doctors like the ones my mom described. SO I just keep looking until I find the right doctor for me. John Neff is the kind of doctor about which my mom complained. He was arrogant, condescending, judgemental, and utterly lacking in compassion. So, I will keep looking until I find a better doctor.
