I think I'd much prefer not paying for parking or for admission! I'm writing this review after attending their Mother's Day weekend preseason festivities. Parking is paid for alongside your admission ticket. It was free on Mother's Day as long as you paid for parking. It wasn't room bad, but the gravel and dirt road isn't friendly, so beware. There are plenty of things to do while at the farm. They have plenty of food and fun things for the lavender festival. The Farm itself has a hotel, sourdough area, perfume class, a matcha room, and two bars you can sit and drink in. I'm giving it the stars that I am because I'm not a fan of their food. Their drinks here are decent, but I feel as though the workers here are burnt out. It's definitely packed on every corner with a lot of people. Even when taking photos with the lavender, it's busy and a bit overwhelming. It is a lovely concept overall, and a nice experience away from the busy city.

We also got to explore the grounds and found some cool shops and the place called The Courtyard. Also got some yummy matcha in the Matcha room. A fun spot for families and kiddos to run around and explore. It's giving Bridgerton vibes.Definitley will be back soon for future events!

French fries looked delicious but absolutely FLAVORLESS served along with FLAVORLESS ketchup purchased from smart and final. I wouldn't recommend this food to anyone. How does a business who's only job is food, serve you something that I'm sure they wouldn't even eat? So i got a response from the Owner, Heidi. Let me just say she is very unprofessional and accused me of lying about my experience with the food her business served me and implied that I wasn't even there. My wife checked in to the Grape Harvest Festival on FB the day that we attended. I guess Heidi can't apologize instead of criticizing an adverse review.

Yes, the festival is tiny compared to the OC Fair, but I liked that there was no thug element present (LA County Fair). My only complaints would be the lack of promotion for this event and that they don't have any rides or even jumpers for the really small kids. Most rides require kids to be 42" tall with some requiring a height of 34". Also, 2 of the 3 beer stands had warm beer. The stand on the east wall next to the grape stomp stage had really cold beer though. Lucky for me, my only beer was from this stand. Not so lucky for my friend...

The entire place is set up like colonial America, and the attention to detail is incredible. All of the staff stay fully in character the entire time, and their costumes are beautifully made and very detailed. It really adds to the whole experience. The farm itself isn't your typical farm,it's more of a historical village with different stations set up to demonstrate things like candle making, crocheting from that time period, how the judicial system worked, and even the types of games people used to play. One of the highlights was the Revolutionary War reenactment at the end, where the kids actually got to participate as soldiers. It was such a cool experience and also really educational at the same time. I went as part of a school group, but you could definitely visit on your own and still have a great time. The food was good, but the baked goods were the real standout -- fresh breads, pies, cookies, homemade ice cream, shakes... everything tasted amazing. I also liked that you can order ahead online and just pick up when you get there. The staff were incredibly patient and kind with the kids, even when they got a little impatient, which I really appreciated. Overall, it felt like being transported back in time, and I would absolutely love to come back again.

Depending on when you visit, you might get lucky and see one their their reenactments and period dressed characters walking about. We appreciate that parking is free and there is no admission to walk the farm. Definitely check out Riley's Farm website where you can get all the details and see their calendar for events, though. Schools, parents, and individuals can book field trips and various fun educational activities of all sorts. Our personal favorite has been the "Old Joe Homestead Tour" (which is $25/person and lasts about 2 hours). Always a great time at Riley's Farm.

We had a grandfathered in membership and they wanted me to switch over when they moved. I didn't switch over because the prices were triple what I was paying before. Because of the close and being pregnant, my wine accumulated and I was owed a bunch of wine bottles. I was only able to collect 6 at a time because of a new limit. I tried going back and was hit with a "under new ownership." This winery has gone down since the initial switch in ownership, and even more now. Service has gone down, the ambiance isn't the same, and they don't honor anything. I called multiple times and they just brush everything I was saying off and use the "new management" or "new ownership" excuse. It's quite a drive for me, so I don't like to just pop in because the schedule is all over the place. We've shown up before when it was supposed to be open, just for it to be closed. I pretty much gave up at this point, and am deeply disappointed that I paid all this money for something I didn't receive. I do not recommend this winery. Just take the extra few minutes drive to Temecula for a better experience.
