You get their version of the characters, not the Disney characters, but it is still fun and great to see, especially the rabbit. This year they added a special guest, the star from Carl's Jr.. This event is massive with about 6 stages ranging from all types of music. It is a good idea to check out a set from each stage and find something new to get into. Each stage is beautiful in its own way, and each has its theme, and the pyros cater to the music. This particular insomniac event has a lot of side quests, so be sure to enter thru random doors and go down some rabbit holes; you'll find secrets, including a bazaar and special character meets. I always opt for VIP; it has its own perks, priority entrance, its own bar and food areas, private VIP air-conditioned restrooms, couches, freebies, a beauty and salon area, and a private viewing area for each stage, which is a huge plus. The highlight for VIPs is the resting spots, which we know us 30+ ravers really need. This rave is wonderful, but not everything is perfect. This rave attracts influencers and many non-plural people, which can ruin the experience for people. They can push, be rude, and even steal, and of course the location is not the greatest, and if you're parked in the wrong area, you will have your car broken into. So stay safe and only park in designated spots. Other than that, have fun.

I will say it was helpful to have free parking and have frequent shuttles available to get to the venue. The decorations and lights were pretty great, and definitely enhanced the experience. I will say navigating the festival was a bit tough, and I wish there was better signage. Although, there were maps and the app, there were times I struggled to locate a specific stage or ended up walking in the wrong direction. I liked the variety of food and drink vendors, although prices are pretty steep. $25 before tip for a cocktail is a little too high. The security at the main entrance seemed a little too relaxed, as they didn't care to check bags and just waved people through and I thought that was concerning. However, it was encouraging to see a good amount of staff around the event and that was reassuring. My friend and I opted to get VIP, and it was nice to access the VIP area and get access to slightly better restrooms. Although, the lines were long. VIP area also had some great views of the main stage but it was quite crowded. Also, it was nice to see some fireworks around midnight and take in all the lights & sights. Also, I wish there was more seating available. Lots of attendees ended up sitting and resting on the ground/grassy areas, which made it a bit challenging to navigate after different sets. The exit at the end of the night was overly crowded and difficult to get through. I was not a fan of having to walk in a huge crowd and then stand in line for 40 minutes for a shuttle to the parking area. Overall, I enjoyed my time at Beyond, but was not a fan of the venue. Possibly worth attending again mainly for the music, headliners, vibes, and various photo opps.

The bathrooms were nicer than I expected. I heard they recently did a renovation and I thought expanding the lobby was a great idea. We saw the ballroom area on the second floor and wow, what a cool space that is. I had a few concerns though which I thought negatively affected my experience. During intermission I couldn't figure out why there was such a hold up exiting the theatre. Yes there were a number of older patrons who walked slow or with walkers, but that is totally fine. When I exited the auditorium I saw this HUGE bottle neck of the men's bathroom line, elevator line, people exiting the theatre and people entering the theatre... and to top it all off... they put the refreshment bar right there. OMG... it was so frustrating and such a bottleneck. I'd consider moving the refreshment bar to the main lobby area which seem to be much more spacious and give more room for the auditorium doors. While I thought the bathrooms were unexpectly large and spacious but there were some concerns I had. The line to the men's bathroom went well into the lobby, but the door needed to be handled by every person in line. I think a door stop might help to prop the door open and so not everyone had to touch the door. Every single person (hopefully) is washing their hands - but with a manual on/off lever, it just stalled the sink line. And, it made a mess with everyone's wet hands handling the faucet lever and walking to the paper towel dispenser. I think they could speed up the line and make less congeston by using automatic on/off faucets. This is what the Pantages recently did and it was a game changer. Same goes with the paper towel dispenser. Everyone had to wave their hand to get the towels to dispense. Ugg, it was sooooo slow. I'd much prefer the towel dispensers which would automatically dispense a towel immediately when one is ripped off. And, worst part, with just 2 dispensers in the men's bathroom, there was one that was not working with dead batteries. OMG... that should be a priority to check before opening the house. In many ways this is just inexcusable.

It was probably the worst halloween event i've EVER been too!!! All of the actors were children 6 to...i dont know like 14 maybe?! I felt extremely uncomfortable considering they were just kids from the local high school and the parents.. also very strange considering they are not paid to be doing this almost every night. The makeup was HORRENDOUS it looked like dollar tree quality makeup; IF THERE ARE ADULTS going to your event atleast hire adults or hire a better sfx team. Especially adults who are paying $40 for your event. Not to mention their instagram shares posts of the child actors and describes them in CREEPY WAYS; calling them "gorgeous" etc. like?! I'm shocked. Never coming here again complete waste of money. As someone who never complains this really upset me and I truly hope you guys stop ripping people off.

They had 4 stations, each station was a step closer to your zombification. You wear your own clothes that you want shredded, then there was 3 different station just for makeup! Then the last station, they splash you with blood. It was totally awesome. Bring the clothes you want shredded, don't wear it. Unless you don't mind stripping down and standing there in your undies while they are shredding your clothes. There is an area to check your bags in, you retrieve it at the end of your call time. You also get a beer ticket, t-shirt, and a medal. Once on the course, we were in first zone, right when the runners first begin. They come in hoards and about every 30min. I suppose if you're in the later zones, the runners are all scattered by then so you're constantly chasing/stumbling. For us, we got breaks in between. The only thing this event could have done better is have better instructions and signs on where to go. When we first arrived, we had no idea where we're supposed to go and to which stations. Other than that, bring your camera and prepare to have lots of fun!

I was a zombie, and I had a blast!…read more I loved the idea of a Zombie Run. Unfortunately, zombie tickets were sold out by the time I heard about it last year. This year, I got the tickets, I cam dressed in my Silent Hill nurse costume with bandaged face and all. They decked me out with makeup and blood. It was fun walking around LA after the run, without the bandages and costume, and watching civilians freak out at the blood. The runners were into it. Some were scared. Some had a sense of humor. One young lady ran straight into my thumb, and took off half the nail, and sprained my thumb. Another gentleman almost knocked me over, and bruised my side. They say zombies are violent! Beware of the humans! I loved how everyone wanted to take a photo of me, and how easy it was to scare the little kids. It felt good to watch the underdogs triumph at the end. I can't wait until next year, when the venue is closer to home in lovely Pasadena. Since most Run For Your Lives fans come from Los Angeles, it makes sense to hold it close to LA!

The only problem with the music is that the DJ will play a couple danceable songs and then interrupt it with old hip hop songs that you can only jump to; it's rather annoying. I believe that the club relies on people being inebriated to thoroughly enjoy the experience. The drunk group of 30+ year olds sure were proof of this. Other than that, club Evo is rather enjoyable.

The location is easy to find and they have plenty of parking in their private lot. I bought tickets online for my cousin and I for $18/general ticket and we were able to pick up our tickets at the box office on the day of the performance. All I had to do was present my drivers license and they were able to locate my tickets. Our seats were preassigned based on timing of when our tickets were purchase. The interior was quaint, but small theaters have the luxury of good visuals for all attendees. My cousin and I were in B9 and B10 which put us one row back from the absolute front. I enjoyed the distance to the stage but the set back was the chairs. The chairs in each row were connected. At first I thought the person behind me was constantly kicking my chair, but it turns out we would feel every movement from the people in our row. Every time they got up, sat down or shifted... and unfortunately the person on the other side of the empty seat next to me couldn't stop shifting around all night long. It was so annoying. I hope they upgrade these chairs as soon as they have the budget to do so. I completely enjoyed the actual production of The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance. It was divided into two parts with an intermission after the first half. During the 20 minute intermission, the audience got up to use the restroom and to visit the concession area. The concession snacks were served by a friendly group. All of the items were $2 each. It was easy and quick math to calculate your order. They served coffee, tea, root beer, lemonade, cookies, trail mix and cheesy popcorn. We bought a variety of items thinking we could enjoy it during the remainder of the show, but a voice announced over the speakers that eating and drinking is prohibited in the theater area, so we just finished our beverages and left our snacks unopen. After enjoying the remainder of the production, the entire cast met us our front and thanked us for attending opening night. 5 stars for the cast and their performance! I especially loved the strong female lead role. She was perfect!! If you are a fan of the theater, this is an inexpensive spot to indulge. They are currently selling their season tickets and the production we enjoyed is still performing on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays until March 8th. Just remember to manage your expectations with the venue when the tickets are so inexpensive.

Items were sold out by midday I suggest go here first. Panel rooms A & B have trivia and guest speakers. The line to visit inside the celebrity guest speaker room is outside by the main entrance. On the north side of the convention center. The fire table has a scavenger hunt throughout the day. Fun way to explore the grounds. Elevators & restrooms are by panel room A. The event extends to the Marriott hotel just across the courtyard area. Karaoke, arcade and maid cafe with live DJ. The courtyard has the main stage of performances and celebrity guest speakers with shaded area. The upper parking lot has food trucks and the car show displayed. Food vendors are also by the main bell tower, south side of the convention center and continues down Main Street. On Saturdays you can also enjoy farmers market starting at 8am to 1pm. Security is present at every entrance. Parking structures are nearby or score some street parking along the block. An easy stroll to the entrance.

This is not a typical…read morewalk-through haunted house where you get people jumping out of you every few if you eat from a dark corner this is actually immersive where you become part of the story and the actors may interact with you, ask you to do things even touch you in a non-threatening way, but really to heighten your experience in the storytelling to make you a real character in the show it takes about 15 minutes to walk through and I highly recommend it. We drove in from Anaheim and it was worth the drive even with traffic.
