I came here for the National Orange Show Fair in April and although the fair wasn't as big as LA county fair but the quality was the same. It's basically the miniature version of LA county fair and I enjoyed every moment of it. Will come back in the future! read more

The venue is very nice. We always come here for most of Insomniac events such as Escape, Beyond, Wasteland, Into The Sequence, etc. Parking or Uber for events will be expensive and tricky. Sometimes the Uber/Lyft just cancelled and charged $5-$10 just because "I could not find you in the crowd". We either booked hotel nearby and walked like 10 minutes or took Insomniac shuttles. The Shuttles dropped and picked up right at the entrance which I like the most :) read more

Have been able to come here for Insomniac events about 4 times now and although there are some expected struggles, I am always pleasantly surprised with the stage set-ups, the props, the activities and the installations!!! I was lucky enough to recently come by here for an event called Beyond. It was a fantastic time and in my opinion, despite the large space, there were a good amount of map directories and signs that helped us navigate and find our way! The music quality is top notch here, although I do wish the main stage was louder than the stage that's next door, which plays House music. I feel like the main stage should be what I hear louder than the other right? However it's good as soon as you come close enough to the stage. My main qualms is the lack of phone reception (which is a given at the Nos), which can get scary because I've had friends lose their phones here and sometimes need to be creative in trying to make meet up spots at certain times. I think the area is good but parking needs to be picked appropriately because some cars do get broken into. Luckily and thank god we've had no problems buying parking at a lot, although we noticed on day 2 there's a big surcharge. You ARE able to get free parking if you're lucky and come early though, but definitely try to pick a safe street! For some crowds, I definitely say to trust your gut and intuition because a crowd surge was frightening and was unfortunately experienced by my group on Day 1, and it was due to the stage set up. One of the stage entrances has a staircase to climb up before you go down, so there are people coming in not seeing the crowd infront and others trying to get out would get stuck. It was scary and honestly I didn't see security that night ... but I give big props to Nos because the next day there was staff with a loudspeaker alerting the crowds at the same spot!! Overall had a great experience and was able to have a lovely time for a music festival/rave. read more

I recently started going here for Insomniac events. When I was a kiddo, all we had were exotic car shows and the annual Orange Show carnival. The raves are so much more fun!!! I can't wait til the next one! I'll be hitting it up all year long. Love their themes and they go all out with decor, props, rides, costumes... so much to do as well as dancing at the many stages with different DJs I absolutely love! Hope to see you there! read more

Love this place for every insomniac event we've been to together in this lifetime nothing has ever dissapointed us, it's only gotten better every year. Recently we went to escape again and insomniac has stepped it up since beyond this year. The production for each stage was set up beautifully. My fave stages were the Grimm, the feeding grounds, and sanitarium. Danced our asses off to dj snake, armin van buuren, mk, malaa, kaskade, kaivon, afrojack, William black, hotsince82, jvna, k?d, zedd, and so much more but those were my mains for both days lol. I loved my premium drink cup I got for a souvineer, it's worth it, the cup is themed well, lights up, comes with a straw, and it's like three drinks in one lol! I have a love/hate relationship with this place. Been coming here since 2014 for various RAVES Insomniac hosts (Countdown, Escape, Nocturnal etc). First off: ARRIVE EARLY, free parking at the baseball field (less than a 15 minute walk from the venue). If that's full, you're routed to another lot and will have to use a shuttle (best to AVOID, lines get hella long). If you don't arrive early, good luck with the parking situation. There's other lots/restaurants/plaza that's closer, but charge a fee ($10-$40). Like I said, ARRIVE EARLY, if you don't, getting in sucks ass. Everyone's arriving around the same time, the line is hella long. People are cutting or jumping the fences, which cause everything to freeze (no one is getting in till everything is settled, happen at a few Escapes I've been to). ***LIMITED CELL SIGNAL*** As for the event it self, I've had some amazing times, but also some of the worsts. The worst ones are when it's a SOLD OUT event. They go over the maximum capacity of the place. When that happens, there's legit NO ROOM to move and it's hard to breathe when your inside the tent. read more

Of course, you can partake in networking and rubbing elbows with distinguished entrepreneurs but, come on, we're here for the wine! Actually, this annual event is a fundraiser for a good cause. They bring local restaurants to serve some of their best menu items at the event. Here you'll be served wine from all over the world. It is located on the lawn under tents during the summer so the atmosphere is really nice. The event is well organized from check-in to closing. You get a wine glass to keep and re-use throughout the evening. The food from all the vendors were delicious! I really enjoyed the grilled lamb and loved snacking on those Spanish marcona almonds. They offered a nice selection of whites, reds, and my favorite rosé! There was a good number of people in attendance and what's great is we were there to help charity. NOS Center has been the perfect venue for various raves hosted by Insomniac. Beyond Wonderland, Dreamstate, Escape, Wastland, etc. My favorite experience at NOS Center was Dreamstate 2019. It was my first trance event with my friends and I loved everything! The multiple stages, lasers, the open areas for breaks, etc. What a great way to be introduced to Trance for the first time. Parking tends to be a nightmare depending on when you get to parking lot/festival grounds. I'd say come early to secure free parking in one of the lots provided OR pay anywhere between $20-40 to park in a lot that has someone patrolling the area. Be wary of parking on the streets and having your windows smashed. Park at your own risk! Looking forward to coming back here for Dreamstate 2022! read more

This venue has been the perfect spot for raves, but due to COVID, has now been used for a COVID friendly event called Park N Rave. We were there pretty early and ended up being the first in line. The security on the street were not in good communication with the security in the front of the line because they told us to abruptly stop at one of the tents since they were not ready to be open. They actually did not start letting anybody in until 10 minutes after their "said" gate opening time. On a side note, you can arrive at any time you like. I saw cars arriving as late as an hour before event was over. They also barely searched our car before letting us drive in. It was easy to find and parallel park into our spot. Each spot was socially distanced with gates in the front and both sides. One side had recycling trash and the other normal trash. My other friends had a spot in the row above us, so I decided to see if I could go there to visit them and go inside their spot. It was actually super easy to get to them with no repercussions. However, if you go to someone else's spot in the front of their gate, security will nicely tell you to leave after a few minutes. There was a mask police that walked by periodically making sure everyone was wearing their masks if they were not drinking nor eating. I think the best part about this venue is the bathroom situation. They have port-o-potties at the end of each row and there was never a line. Also, they do serve food and alcohol through a site they provide when you get there and are super quick about it too. Overall, I felt pretty safe and, with no doubt, would come here again and again. read more

I was first off hella frustrated to park. The security people had me going back and forth. Parking was $20 for the regular parking lot I had to bust a Bitch and wait in line for 10-15 minutes for them to tell me that their lot was full. The only parking that was available was $40 which was VIP parking ugh! It was nice tho having the car right outside of the front doors but still! The venue itself was cool it was huge!! It was like a giant stoner swap meet with some bad ass music. The lines were crazy busy tho we waited about 2 hours in different lines trying to grab some expensive ass food. Another 30 minutes for a bogus made up line for the bathrooms. The whole Marley performance I was holding in my bathroom needs until my stomach started hurting anyways. I probably would drive all the way out here for another concert tho. Concerts seems better out in LA for some reason read more

Have you been here? If so then you know how it's pretty much a different event every time as this area has many little areas that each do their own thing at each given event. Before the other day it's been many years since I came to NOS as the only other time I've been here was when we played with Voodoo Glow Skulls a bit closer to where the race track area is I remember that day kinda well actually as we were in the artist area for most of the day which was kinda close to one of those big hanger looking buildings where when entered we found these huge metal carts with several shelves that were standing tall with enough weight to them to carry two of us when we would hang off opposing corners you put that together on 4 pivoting wheels and you're in for some serious speed with a runway in front of you enough weight to counterbalance each other it's all about bringing on the spinning cart speeding 360's to have an awesome adrenaline rush before you play a show to what was a good sized crowd that day! The other day when we visited here it was to see 2 Chainz play it was pretty awesome sounded good and was a really fun show of an awesome artist! They have a huge area to park just kinda circle around the place and try to get into whatever one of their lots is open as you wanna park as close to the venue as possible just remember to not leave anything of value inside your car as I've heard of friends cars get broken into over the years in random areas that aren't super close to the venue. The line to get in moved pretty fast actually where once we were inside we entered into the huge lake area where we walked around for a bit before catching 2 Chainz saying all the awesome songs that dude does! Overall good times here a good wile ago and good times recently who knows when I'll visit this crazy venue again that always has sooo many things going on! read more

THE LAND OF NO RECEPTION. Takeaways: - Small, concrete venue nestled in the San Bernardino city. - Turn off iMessage if you want to contact your friends. Otherwise, say goodbye to all forms of contact! - Parking is a mess. Several nearby restaurants will charge cheaper fees. Be sure to find one that seems credible and likely won't tow you. I've been to NOS twice now for the same event: Countdown 2015 and 2016. Both times have been relatively great experiences despite NOS being a strange, receptionless venue. * PARKING * Honestly, I don't even know which lots are assigned for Insomniac events cuz traffic is so bottlenecked that I usually just give up and park at a nearby restaurant that charges parking. I highly recommend the Juan Pollo Chicken. Parked there both years and never had any issues. I parked at an Auto City shop past Juan Pollo once and I don't appreciate their method (lots of cars were triple and quadruple parked) but considering we were on the edge it didn't really affect us. (Sorry for the drivers that had to wait for us to leave) ALL of these lots I found were $20 flat rate. Make sure to ask the person charging you for some sort of ticket slip so you know they won't scam you and tow your car. VERY IMPORTANT TIP: just because the street does not have a "No parking" sign does NOT mean you won't get a ticket! Our group luckily avoided a parking ticket by checking for signage (didnt find any) and checking all of the cars in the vicinity to make sure they didn't have tickets on their dashboard. Some lots are used for events and others are not. Always be careful and alert. In general, I would never recommend street parking anyway as many of my friends have had their cars broken into and I'd rather pay money to ensure my car (and the goods inside) are safe at the end of the event. * VENUE * Very small, usually tented stages so there are no pyrotechnics here. #LASERSFORDAYS Because of its small size, it's actually very easy to run into someone you know here, which is pretty cool. They also have real bathrooms here so if you don't mind waiting an extra long while, it's definitely a step up from the port-a-potties. * SECURITY * Hit or miss as always. Some very lenient and some very strict. I had a security agent search through my friend's BRAIDS to see if she had drugs while I only got a simple pat down. As far as venues go, this is honestly a decent one. It is on concrete so you don't have to worry about wrecking your shoes. Just don't make the same mistake I did by wearing Adidas and walking into the marshy areas during the rain... RIP to my beautiful kicks. (1/100) read more

This venue highlights a scenic lake with lush trees providing a beautiful ambiance. Came here for Insomniac Countdown on New Year's Eve. Pretty nice venue overall. There was a giant tent for all the attendees. Because the night was really cold (It got to around 30 degrees towards the end), the tent proved to be super clutch. The sound and light systems were positioned all the way to the back, so everyone could enjoy the show. Knowing Insomniac, production could have been better, but no real complaints. The laser show was on point! Outside, there were some decorations near the pond, but not too many people were hanging outside because of the weather. Water was surprisingly refreshing, but then again, maybe because it was hella cold outside, the water was pretty much ice cold. What sucked was that bathrooms were hella far away from the tent. I had to throw on a thermal and run to the bathrooms just to stay warm. Parking ($10) sucked here though. All the lots were so far separated from each other that it was really hard to remember where you parked. Some of my friends got lost looking for the car. I have been to the NOS countless times over the last 10 years for Insomniac events. With the way that Insomniac decorates it, it is my favorite venue because it is on concrete instead of dirt (so I don't need my face mask), it isn't too spread out, and I like the little pond and fountain. In the past, it has been quick to get in but the last few times that I recently went there, the security lines have been much longer. Parking is around $20. You can park in the neighborhoods for free BUT this area isn't the best so I don't recommend walking around and many people have mentioned their cars getting broken into. For larger events they have Uber/Lyft drop off and pickup in the Target parking lot which is a 20 minute walk and a huge hassle. They did this for Escape but for Dreamstate which was a smaller event we were able to get cars in front of the venue. For Insomniac events you'll have to use port-o-potties although if you're here for another event I believe they have actual bathrooms inside. Keep in mind that some stages are inside the hangars and you might have to wait in line to get in which can be annoying. Overall, there are annoyances just like any venue but it is simple getting in and out, the decorations give a great vibe, and there are plenty of hotels nearby as well. read more

I think I cursed myself. I read a bunch of Yelp reviews before visiting this venue because I wanted to know what to expect when I went to High and Low Festival a couple weeks ago. I am from San Diego not San Bernardino so this was a ways from home and reading people's tips and reviews before I go somewhere new is my way of "getting to know a place." A few of the reviews I read mentioned people's cars getting broken into and I was like "nah that won't be me" and I turned off the app. Well guess what? Somebody broke my car window and stole my lunch box. Thankfully it wasn't anything of that much importance. But how does this happen at a venue parking lot? I feel like they should have security patrolling that area. I mean, I did pay $20 to park there. Now this whole festival is costing me over $300 to get my car window replaced. Talk about being cursed and having bad luck... Other than my car getting broken into, I had a great time. I had an easy time getting in. There were two lines, one for women and another for men. That night I saw PUP, Tegan and Sara, Best Coast, Death Cab for Cutie and Brand New. High and Low Fest was a lot of fun and not as hot as I expected. The drinks were over $10 and the food was more than $8. I enjoyed the inside and outside stages, and the open space of the layout. I had no problems with reception and I have T Mobile. It may be because this festival wasn't as big as the other raves they have here. Overall, TIPS FOR EVERYONE: Either park outside and save yourself $20 or park at the venue but hide everything (even your lunch box). This area is sketchy. Wear sunblock. Take a battery charger for your phone. Leave the show early so you don't get stuck in traffic. National Orange Show is among a handful event centers in San Bernardino for large scale events. Parking can be challenging but not an issue today for the rideshare luncheon. *Fellow raver since 2013* The Nos Events Center is a pretty small venue, compared to other places, such as the San Manuel Amphitheater or Whittier Recreational Parks. It usually only holds tented stages, and indoor stages either at the Damus Building, or the Citrus building, or Both if its a bigger event. The ground is concrete, as stated in previous reviews, therefore you won't have to worry about messing up your shoes, unlike San Manuel where it is all grass and sand. The lake/pond is the most beautiful part of the venue, and a great place take pictures! Beware: There is little to no reception. Depending on where you are standing, sometimes you will be able to send a text, or call a friend, and sometimes you can do neither. Also, many times after we left the venue, ACTUAL cops lead us the wrong way to which we wanted to find the Uber/Lyft location, we ended up walking 5-6 miles away from it and homebody-ing on the side of the street trying to get a SIGNAL to request an uber. It was ridiculous! People don't know how to give directions, and San Bernardino is not good with LA people reception! *Security* Guys: Guys get thoroughly checked as well! Some events require you to take off your shoes, so don't hide anything there. I haven't taken off my shoes for an event for a while, but that might be subject to change. Depending on your security person, it depends how long you'll be checked for. Some people get a simple pat down, some people get checked TSA style. Girls: We get TSA style for every little thing. Fluffies will be patted down, if you have a rave bra, you'll have to pull it outwards so if anything is underneath it will fall out. If you're dressed more open, some security will just do a simple pat down and let you go, but if you have excess clothes, they do tell you to take things off or check little areas. For me, they checked my kandi bracelets because I had sleeves full, to see if there was anything hidden in my arm! *Parking* If I drive to the venue myself, I usually get there an hour or two earlier and parking in Gates 7-9 which is FREE parking. Get there earlier to park inside the NOS itself! If you don't plan on coming early, there are 15-20$ parking spots available in nearby businesses that offered their spots, nearby residences even who offer to watch your car, and sometimes on the street if there are no signs or indications for towing or tickets. Just BE AWARE. - Sometimes this venue does get over-packed, since it is smaller, it gets suffocating and harder to get to and from stages or move closer. It just depends on the event and how many tickets they sold. - Food is okay, I always just get something to hold on my drinking, which would probably be fries or a pizza. The venue is small so its definitely easier to bump into someone you know. And easy to find stages, bathrooms, first aid tents! Overall, pretty nice venue. Reception is bad, parking is a little difficult depending on what time you go. Tip: For a very nice hotel, which is just about 20 minutes away from the venue, I recommend the Ontario Airport Hotel. Don't settle for closer hotels because they are more expensive and get booked quicker. We found this hotel open just a couple days before the event, and it was right off the freeway exits. My 100th Yelp review!! Ahhhhh! A group of us went here for Escape Psycho Circus 2015. This was my first time here so I had very low expectation. I'm sure there was free parking, but we opted to pay $20 for security. I've read the area was a little shady... Anywho, we got there right when the event started, so the line going in was a breeze!! Super nice security people..they even let me bring in my bf's DSLR camera. tehehe =x Security check was super quick.Here's a tip: Guys, let your lady bring in all the stuff. Haha I feel like security check is a lot more lenient on the ladies. :) Insomniac put on the most awesome production!!! Check out the photos taken by Bullet S.! :) There were 4 different stages. Though some of the stages were a bit hot because it was inside a warehouse. Awesome laser show..and great acoustics (didn't hear overlaps of music playing from other stages)...Overall..I loved everything!!!! lol Also...the area near the pond is especially beautiful during sunset. There's one public bathroom for men and women,and plenty of portable pottys. The place is pretty clean! Plenty of area to sit down and rest your tired dancing feet. hahah Also there's a couple of free water stations, so bring your camel pack! :) Stay hydrated.. I speak on behalf of every raver worldwide: THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST VENUE FOR A RAVE!! (Insomniac throws the best parties here, of course. But any event thrown here will be a good one!) Here's why: 1. The layout: Everything is flat and paved. That means you can easily travel from stage to stage without breaking a sweat. AND you won't experience mud, dirt, or any other bullshit obstacles. 2. The stages: every stage is either in an enclosed room, or in a tent. This means PREMIUM sound quality (the sound has nowhere to escape in the air), and it also means better visuals! It's dark in these rooms/tents and you can see every single laser and strobe in its brightest form. Also, when I'm in an enclosed area, I somehow feel more connected to the music. Call me a hippie but the stages at this venue really seem set up to bring you one step closer to the music! 3. The pond: yes, that's right. There's a HUGE pond in the middle of this venue, surrounded by lovely trees and a huge patch of grass all around it. Insomniac events tend to decorate the trees with lights and fixtures and add floating lights in the pond. It's really beautiful to sit down on the grass and take a break here. I went to another rave at this venue called "1 life fest", and they had a zip line set up that took you right across the pond. Epic! The pond is such an added gem! Honestly, anyone who's been to a nocturnal, or an escape, or an old school audiotistic rave at this venue would agree that this is the absolute best place to rave. Long live the NOS! Ps. If they just updated this place a little they could attract a lot more people from LA & Orange County. The place has a Rich History; it's a shame to let it deteriorate. It was the 104th Year of The National Orange Show. 5 Days of Amusements Shows & Fair Food. Different Days are different prices. We went on Sunday it was Free to get in but $20 for Parking. They had The Bands, & The Venardos Circus which was really Good. Two years ago Venardos had 3 Shows a Year now they have 40 Shows all over the country. The Circus is Back just without the Cruel Animal Acts. The Butterfly Exhibition was interesting & The Pig Races were exciting too. And those were Free too. There were many other things to do for Free as well. So that's a Good! They have a whole display about the History of the Fair which was cool to see what it looked like Back in the Day. They had another display of trains & Giant Dinosaurs Kids could Ride on for FREE too. They brought in some Good & EXCITING Rides from Butler. For those on a Budget it's $25 for Unlimited Rides which is another Bargain. They have both Adult Rides & Rides for Small Kids too. We did have Fun here. It used to be, you had to have mega bucks & be really rich to have the Good Life, not anymore. The Game has changed. You've been Upgraded. Now You Can Live Like a King on a Limited Budget! read more

The best venue for EDM festivals hands down (minus the LA Coliseum), which as you all know has banned EDM festivals from its premises. I've been to a few EDM festivals here organized by Insomniac: Beyond Wonderland 2010 Nocturnal Wonderland 2010 Beyond Wonderland 2011 Nocturnal Wonderland 2011 (both days) I've had a blast every single time at the events Insomniac has hosted. Idk why people complain about the parking lots, they have a dirt parking lot and a tar one as well. They both cost the same, sometimes you get the dirt and sometimes the black top one, depending on where you access it from. There's a lot of space in there, even when attendance tops out at 40K+, which did at Beyond Wonderland 2011, only negative is that the main stage, which is pretty massive, still manages to fill up to capacity. I like the fact that Insomniac gives free water now ever since what happened at EDC 2010 :@ The only negative thing I could agree on that others mentioned is that sometimes mobile reception sucks ass, especially for internet. But that's not the venue's fault itself, it's the saturation of cell phone use and not enough cell phone towers in the area. This especially happens to GSM phones (AT&T/T-mobile), for some reason CDMA phones do better here (Verizon/Sprint/Metro PCS/Cricket), I've had many kinds lol. Other than that it's all good, I really wish security would be more lenient on glove lights and such; they don't harm anyone, instead they should be focusing on hidden weapons or something. To those complaining about the weather, stop being little bitches, the venue has no control over that. Personally I like it when the weather is in the 80's-90's cuz once it cools down it gets in the 60's-70's. Overall this venue is better than all the ones I been to by far, and it's only an hour away (I live in San Diego County), I'll keep coming here as long as I have the money for it and Insomniac is behind it. read more

COUNTDOWN NYE was so perfect here! Cold, but I had the best New Years ever! This is my first time at this venue and I absolutely loved it. I've been to the San Manuel a couple times it was okay. Since it was really cold for New Years, I loved that the stages were close together and walking around wasn't a hassle. The entirety of my experiences here revolve around music festivals, so take my review with a grain of salt. The music festivals, put on by insomniac, have been extremely overcrowded every time, having to squeeze by somebody everywhere you go, regardless of where you are in the venue. Rock the Bells 2012 was awesome, but unfortunately was held at this "venue". Off the 215 interstate, you are just north of Riverside and the 60 and 10 freeways. During the summer it gets HOT and I mean you can barely hold your head up hot. When you first enter, it looks like a park with grass and trees surrounding a watering hole. The venue is quite large but definitely much smaller than the Coachella venue in Indio. The pretty scenery soon turned into asphalt.... and lots of it. Don't let the entrance fool you-- the water is dirty and not refreshing. It's hotter than a mofo in there and not in a good way. The asphalt absorbs the heat allll day and then spits it back into your feet during the night. You can seriously feel the ground radiating heat at 10pm. I guess the clean up is easy but really a parking lot party? So NOT parking lot pimpin. The only saving grace was the air conditioned hangar which they converted into a bar/beer garden. No seats or tables or anything just a bar and yeah you get to sit on the floor and enjoy the AC. Sorry, if you're not 21 you die of heat stroke outside. If it weren't for the AWESOME line up I like many others would not have gone. BONE THUGS reunion, DMX , jadakiss and E40 were so worth the torturous, two days hence the 2 stars. NOS center= big ass parking lot with a patch of grass. NO THANKS! --- Parking: Event parking was all full by the time we got there and yeah you park in dirt lot so expect your car to be covered in dust. You are limited to the parking lots that are directly in front of the venue or else its "private" lots and sketchy street parking. There must have been over 10 tow trucks just driving around SO DON'T PARK ILLEGALLY. You will get towed. read more

Quite possibly the best venue I've had a chance to attend for an event ... ever... While San Bernardino may be a bit out of the way for most, it's certianly worth the drive to catch a festival at the National Orange Show Center. Easy access to and from the venue with a convenient location adjacent to two freeways, this place has plenty of space to get in and out fast. The grounds of the NOS Center are perfect, equipped with a man-made lake in the center of it. Plenty of space to explore around and not have to worry about over-crowding, even with a massive event. If you haven't had the chance to enjoy this venue, make it a goal! You won't be disappointed. read more

I'm not sure why this place has such low ratings... The NOS center is the shit. Hands down. It's the most spacious venue I have ever since and Insomniac events does an amazing job setting up everything to host their various events: Escape from Wonderland, Nocturnal Wonderland, Beyond Wonderland, etc; I recently found out that they host other events besides raves here! When I went to Socal Crush (02/14/15) someone was having their retirement party (HAHA) in one of the indoor buildings so that section of the NOS center was closed off. If you're in SoCal and wondering what this venue is like, it's awesomeeee! Be careful to my fellow girl ravers: if you're wearing barely anything - you besta change your mind and bring a jacket. It does get awfully cold by the time you have to leave the venue (2AM or so). read more
