You have to go outside next to the unit to hear it running. This system replaced the upgraded system we installed 17 years ago. That unit upgrade replaced the original system. It ran from 9 am to 9 pm and drank electricity like crazy. During the 17 years after that upgrade, we installed new windows, had more insulation blown into the attic, and installed solar. My new electric bill for June-July is $10.72. I have a solar electric system, but the new AC system sips electricity. Page did an outstanding job installing my system. I called Page air to get an estimate to install a new Google Nest smart thermostat. I spoke to Darren about this installation. I let him know that I tried to install it myself and it was not working properly. He asked about the wiring and told me how it was supposed to be wired. It turns out that the instruction guide for the thermostat was incorrect for one of the wires. I sent him a picture of where the wires were hooked up and he sent me a text on the proper location of one of the wires. I moved that one wire and the thermostat now works perfectly. Darren didn't charge me a penny. Darren didn't need to help me over the phone this way. I'm really impressed with this business. 6 months ago, I had them come out and do the typical 24 point inspection/tune-up that most AC places offer. Called them this past weekend because my air stopped working and I had all sorts of error codes on my thermostat. The owner (presumably), walked me through some DIY troubleshooting over the phone and had my AC running in no time. He was very familiar with Trane equipment! I just want to give a big shout out and THANK YOU to the very reliable, dependable, and reasonable Page Air, Inc. for promptly coming to our rescue once again when our house A/C failed in the middle of today's stifling heat. Since I'm working from home due to COVID, it was very difficult and uncomfortable to be productive. I reset the circuit breaker but still couldn't get it to work. So I text Page Air. I immediately received a response from Darren Page (the owner of Page Air) that he was on his way. He arrived in less than 10 minutes and proceeded to check all the power levels, electrical connections and continuity on the outside and inside units and the motherboard. When they all checked out he checked the thermostat and found the problem there. He replaced the old thermostat and programmed the new one and had everything working. The entire operation took only around 30 minutes due to his great trouble shooting skills and expertise. I called late the night before, Darren told me he would be over between 8am-9am the next day and asked if i could wait. I came home last Thursday evening and found the house was warm, but the A/C was running. I checked around and everything inside looked ok but the fan wasn't running on the outdoor unit. We just purchased our first house and moved in a week ago. On what seemed like one of the hottest days of the year our AC stopped pushing cold air.
