Recently I needed a new central air conditioner and furnace and after receiving several quotes, I found that the one I was most satisfied with was from Brevard Cooling and Heating inc. Their technician Tommy had come out to check my old unit and worked up a quote for a new system to meet our needs. Tommy was very professional and explained everything that was going to be done, and explained all the warranties for the equipment. Thus I had the unit installed about a week ago and have been very happy with the installation and how professionally it was completed by their installers Anthony and Sam. Both these young men removed all the old items and replaced my old system with a new Amana system. They were very meticulous in the installation and cleaned up their work area inside and out as if nothing had been disturbed. They even asked if I was happy with how everything looked before leaving the job site. A day or so into the use of our new central air, I had questions about the new thermostat that had been installed and received help from technicians Franco and Tommy on the correct settings and the use of the thermostat so that I would be comfortable with its operation. Lastly I would like to state that on the day of the installation even one of the company owners Brian stopped by and checked over the work done by the installers to ensure all looked complete to the highest standard. We were out of Air Conditioning in July in Florida with a three week waiting time for any relief. Brevard Cooling was our third and final bid before we would make a decision as to which company to contract with to install our new gas furnace and air conditioner. Dan R was our sales rep and he cleared up all the confusing dialogue that comes with the process that can overwhelm the uninformed consumer. He did not attempt to over sell and set our project up with what we needed to be economic as well as updated with the newest technology. He went on to support our getting a temp unit and when it was unsuccessful he personally brought a portable unit after hours on a Friday and on Monday got us a earlier install appointment as well. He called to check on us twice which we thought was telling of the customer care this company provides. As for the install we had the Sam /Anthony crew. They were very polite, knowledgeable, neat and patient when answering our questions during the day of install. Finally, the office staff were very helpful and easy to talk to when working any and all issues. All in all this company and the "PEOPLE" turned a nightmare situation into a HOT but smooth transition from old to new. I closed on Friday a home that needed a new a/c unit, I contracted Brevard-coolin and heating to do the job. When I arrived on Monday from N.Y The a/c was not working and it was HOT. The job was set to be done on wednesday, So I would have to go 2 days with no a/c, I made a call to John to see if the job could be moved up a day he said he would see what he could do for me. 10 mins later I got a call from Ben he told me he would be unable to move the job up a day but he was going to send a tech out to put some Freon or a Portable a/c unit to get me through the next 2 days 10 mins later i get a call from the Tech saying he would be there in an hr. An hr later the Tech filled the system At NO CHARGE and i was good for the next 2 days. Great People/Business. Brevard Cooling and Heating (BC&H) replaced my AC unit and Air Handler three weeks ago. It has kept my house cool or cold steady since it was turned on. I was initially nervous about the unit size "Daikin 3.5 ton", since old Ruud unit was 4 ton. I now keep my thermostat 78 degrees, the old Ruud I normally had set at 70. I am expecting to see less electrical watts used monthly. I called five company's for estimates BC&H was the second lowest, but Eric's explanation of what I was receiving, letting me know about discounts I was eligible for and the 12/12 warranty sold me. West and will removed old units and replaced with new Daikin units which involved updating and changing the support structures, pipping and electrical connections. Both men answered all my questions about the units, placements, piping, electrical and new thermostat during and after the work was completed. Having had some problems with my very old AC system, I had a complete new AC system installed on May 8th. I really appreciate the help that I received during this process. Before the install I had lots of questions and problems which were all answered and addressed thoroughly and professionally by Franco...so...thank you for your patience and help; it was greatly appreciated. On May 8th the installers arrived totally on time, were extremely courteous, did an excellent, efficient job removing the old system and replacing it with the new one, thoroughly cleaned up after themselves, and answered lots more questions with equal patience. Just recently I had the inspection done that was required, with the inspector being very happy with the quality of the work. So, thank you! We spend over six months a year in Melbourne Beach. We knew our air conditioners were on borrowed time as they were 14 years old. Of course, they died right before Christmas. Eric came to our house and thoroughly explained all the options to us. We agreed on a price and set a date. The Brevard Cooling and Heating Crew came on time on the agreed date and worked continuously for more than eight hours to get the air conditioners installed. I had an 18 year old system (R22) and contacted Brevard Cooling and Heating (due to the excellent reviews and I wanted an authorized provider - Daiken System) to give me an estimate for a new system. The Receptionist scheduled Eric (sales representative) to come out the next day. Eric did a thorough explanation of the Daiken Systems and explained which was the best system for my house. This is the most professional, courteous, and tidy business that I've ever used. They installed a top of the line system for me, and cleaned up after they were done. They went above and beyond what I'd ever expected. I am enjoying a nice, cool house now. I appreciate their hard work. My house had an older unit, which meant taking out the old unit, and removing the paneling that was around the unit. They never complained, but worked diligently until the job was complete.
