Our A/C system quit working recently and Jay's Air and Heat was recommended by our daughter and…read moreson-in-law. They had used Jay's for a repair on their system a few months ago and were very happy with their work. We called them to check ours out and Edgar stopped by the next day to advise us of a solution. After looking at the equipment and finding that it was 16 years old and a definite Freon leak was visible he said any repair made would only be a temporary fix and it would fail again. The only question was when . We then discussed replacement options . Jay's gave us an estimate on 3 different systems that they thought was the best fit for us. We chose a Comfortmaker 2 stage system with a heat pump. A few days later Jay's arrived with all the equipment and installed it in about 7 hours. That's a big job but Cory, Wyatt and Hayden did a great job with the installation. They were very professional and courteous. They answered all of our questions that came up during the install. Edgar also stopped by and did a fogging procedure because we had told him that we could smell cigarettes through out the house at times. He said that this would help neutralize any nicotine residue that might be in the ductwork. It really seems to have helped with this problem. My technician both times was Chris. He is extremely professional, courteous and very knowledgable. Also, no creepy vibes whatsoever, so we were 100% comfortable having him in our home. Company gives you detailed text and email alerts when the technician is both coming and going. Their quote for the latest completed job was a bit higher than others, but HVAC work is simply not the thing to be cutting corners on. Trying to save a few bucks and hiring the wrong company will end up costing you much more (as I painfully learned). Very pleased with everything and this will be my go to A/C company going forward. They insisted it was the ductwork and could wait until winter (WITHOUT A/C ??!!) and/or they could gouge us right now. They also said we OBVIOUSLY had to have a new unit RIGHT NOW. Several companies showed up, all the same scam. Frantically called everyone, they were too busy and/or could only do "emergency" $$$$$$ service during the day, if you didn't have a contract. Even with a loaned portable (small, but thankful for it) A/C unit from a neighbor, we headed to a hotel with dogs in the car when the house hit 100 degrees. Finally found Air Gagers late one day. When I called them, they came out very early the following morning. They were knowledgeable, professional, polite, and found out quickly what was wrong. For the price of the wiring part, they fixed the A/C. It's been running strong and cool for a month now. Very happy with their service.

Even though it was not an emergency of any kind, GPS showed up within an hour and diagnosed the issue with my hot water or lack there of within minutes of arrival. 30 minutes later the valves were replaced and hot water was flowing again!
