    Tiramisu, cappuccino, and oyster! Yum

Great flavors (the dough is delectable), good service, and the food comes out fast! Awesome vibe...saw a few signs that said, "no football colors," which seemed fitting for the day of the Celtics vs. Rangers match and made me feel even more immersed in the Scottish culture. For dessert we had the tiramisu, canolo, oyster, 99, and cappuccinos...all were hits!

We found this place while walking around Glasgow and we were tired & famished. And good lord was it the best decision ever? We stumbled upon this place on a recent vacation to Glasgow. Food & Drinks: The best Neapolitan Pizza I have eaten. Their dough was soft, fresh & comforting the toppings were warm, it was like poetry. They have a huge selection of pizzas and also choice of extra toppings. We went with one of their classics because we didn't want to tweak the originals. Great pizza, and awesome beer. Not much more you can ask for. Service: We walked in hence had to wait around 20 minutes which wasn't bad for the crowd at this place. Our server took longer than usual to take our order though but hey no complaints after the pizza they served. In all: I wish I lived in Glasgow. Ever since coming back to the USA after my vacation, I have only been looking for Neapolitan pizza.

What a fun restaurant full of energy and great food and service! We walked in around 5:30pm for dinner and were seated right away. Shortly after, the restaurant became packed. There's some tables for two and some for 4, so be prepared to share if it's busy and you have 2 or less in your party. They hand you menus that also pose as disposable placements. The menu is pretty simple and there's an assortment of drinks. We opted for a pizza per person and that was plenty of food. You can likely split one with a pizza and sides but then you miss out on variety! The sausage and fennel and spinach veggie are what we tried. They explain on the wall that their tomato sauce and cheese is sourced from Italy and they use a wood-fired oven. The dough is chewy and soft while the toppings taste fresh and good. I was very happy with the entire atmosphere - it's slightly loud with some music but not so bad that you can hear your table mates. The service was good and everything came in a timely manner. They seem to take good care of hygiene as well since I saw them wiping tables and things with disposable cloths.

    The room is energetic!

World-class pizza worth every minute of the (inevitable) wait. Blown away by the hospitality and the quality on a September visit. Food is ultra-fast, fresh, and beautiful.

If you're looking for authentic Neapolitan Pizza, look no further! I've been to Naples Italy, and this pizza is almost identical! There's a reason the place is packed with a line out the door, even on a rainy afternoon! Lively atmosphere with quick service! Servers were helpful and attentive. We had the #8 & #10, both delicious but we made sure to save room for dessert! We finished off with their house made tiramisu and affogato which were both to die for! You can also visit their sister restaurant Sugo for pasta dishes with a similar atmosphere.

The only pizza we had in Glasgow, but it held up to anything you'd get in Italy, and w better service. Friendly and prompt servers, hot oil on all the tables and the best Neapolitan pies! Totally authentic in all ingredients and ovens used . Don't walk , run to Paisanos for your next pizza. It gets really jammed on weekends bes to arrive early .

Paesano Pizza lived up to its hype! The crust is so tasty and great flavors in their pies. It was quite busy and there was a little bit of a wait but it is well worth it! Great selection of beers and wine. When back in Glasgow, I know where I'm going.

What a find. We were craving a pizza for dinner and ended up here. Fresh ingredients from Italy are used, and the pizza was outstanding. Reminded us exactly how the pizza was when we visited Italy.

Packed on a Monday is always a good sign.

A great wood-fired oven spot that was humming on a Monday night in downtown Glasgow. The place was packed yet the service was quick and friendly. A pizza-forward menu but if you're not looking for pizza then you did not understand the assignment.

I think at this point everybody knows Paesano has the best pizzas around. I keep coming back here because the pizzas are so fresh, the staff is lovely, service is fast and they're so well priced. My personal favourite is the number 8 with no tomato sauce, but they're all incredible! The sides are very good too, definitely try the burrata and the artichokes as they will not disappoint. Their house wines are very tasty too and if you have room left for dessert, their soft serve is amazing.

Good pizza and good place. Taste was good just doesnt meet my standard of awesome neapolitan pizza though. I have tried better ones. My standard for pizza is very high, and sadly sorry to say that it did not meet my expectation. Everything was good just not for me. Price is good too all pizzas for single digit. Cheers!

The choice was between a more traditional Italian restaurant and Pizza Punks which had a little more of the grit and industrial nature that we associate Glasgow with. The reason for the low review is the pizza took an hour to arrive. We were excited to start the meal but around 30 minutes of waiting it started getting awkward and when we looked around at other tables that were there before us we also noticed them looking around for their food. It took so long some people started leaving and the only reason this is not a 1 star review is staff was very good and kept apologizing. They did knock off 10 percent off the bill which we really appreciated but we would have left if they told us at the beginning the kitchen was very far behind. The pizzas tasted OK, but we were also very very hungry by the time it came. I would have ordered more food but were terrified it would take too long so we left still hungry. Interior is very nice and surprisingly large. They had a DJ in the front room and a professional photographer was also there when we ate shooting the interior. It could have been a more interesting experience if it didn't take so long!

Had the Goth ice cream which a black coconut ice cream With Jäegermeister syrup black sprinkles and wafer .Coconut creamy meets chocolate bitters and orange citrus . I will definitely be back to try their buckfast shake . --- Came back the next day because I wanted to get their extremely limited goth dessert again which they were sold out of . Sad . But at least I had the chance to take advantage of their £4 Tuesday burger meal deal . I added caramelized onions for an extra pound but would recommend springing for the cheddar cheese or bacon for an extra £2 which is still a good deal ! As the the taste ? It's £4 burger with fries . No complaints ! As for the buckfast shake ...what an interesting concoction . It's strong ...I can only imagine what having straight buckfast would be like ..I'm glad my first time was in shake form as I'm sure the cream and milk toned down the alcohol and sharpness a lot . The overall flavor really grows on you . It reminds me of like a Neapolitan shake ( heavy on the chocolate and strawberry and no vanilla ice cream ) with a crap ton of added fermented strawberries and maraschino cherries and maraschino cherry syrup . If I was the chef I'd tweak this by adding a rum flambé banana slice or just banana in general would be so nice . I like this place a lot and would low key love to be a business partner or be able up a similar place in the States . Definitely a gem in Glasgow.

I'd had shrimp scampi pizza before and pizza with escargot many years ago and was surprised at how well seafood and pizza go together. The Frutti di Mare pizza from Almafi's was no exception. I happily devoured most of the pizza and was glad my hubby had filled up on onion rings so I didn't have to share more than a couple of slices. Loved the pizza so much, I made sure it was also the last thing I ate before departing Glasgow to fly back to Dublin. First pizza the dough was more puffy, which I preferred. The second one was a flatter dough but still delicious. This was likely because the pizza oven wasn't as hot or the dough had rested differently - the first one was in the evening and the second flatter one was just as they opened at 11:30am. Note that their signage refers to opening at noon, but their website and Google say 11:30.

So maybe it was ill advised that this was the exact time I chose to drag my other half to Sarti but I think I got away with it. The staff didn't seem to mind at all that we'd showed up so late and without a reservation. We were welcomed, seated and our drinks orders were taken (I was gently guided away from an inferior bottle of wine to a nicer one for the same price, which is always a nice touch). I ordered a mixed wild mushroom pizza while my partner went for the spaghetti bolognese and everything was absolutely delicious, fresh and perfectly prepared. I love a good mushroom pizza and this is one of the better ones I've tried in Glasgow. We briefly considered dessert but, being the last people in the restaurant this time, decided it would be better to save it for a time when we were more organised. We paid the bill and were invited to a small glass of limoncello with the staff before we left. My partner normally hates the stuff (although he likes lemons) but actually enjoyed this one, so there's another minor victory. I've visited Sarti before but with a large group and found everything to be great on that occasion too but it was quite a long time ago. It's good to know that they're still doing everything right. We'll be back soon and hopefully at a more reasonable time.

Gusto is part of the Living Ventures group (Grill on the Corner, conveniently over the road from Gusto) and serves Italian food. The restaurant is beautiful, quite similar to Grill on the Corner actually with be classy dark timber, gold finishing a and lots of mood lighting. The restaurant is split into sections so you won't feel like you're in a huge space even though it's a generous-sized restaurant. There's a bar right in the middle which is nicely decorated with stained glass and a tasty selection of booze. Of course, it's Monday lunchtime so I'm not drinking. The menu has great non-alcoholic options like coolers for £4. I opted for a mint and strawberry cooler which was absolutely lush: the barman here clearly knows what he's doing. I'm going to have to return for cocktails! Onto the food. I went for baked gnocchi with a side of spinach. The gnocchi had nduja through it - quite a lot actually as it was pretty spicy! Not unbearable though and overall this was a really nice dish, good portion size and perfectly baked. The spinach wasn't quite as good and was quite watery, and some of the leaves needed their stems trimmed. Overall I enjoyed it here a lot. The service is warm and friendly, and Holly who was looking after the area I was seated in was great and really knew her stuff. I do have to say the front of house wasn't quite as good and seemed a little confused and unsure, but the place has just opened so that's no big deal. All up, I was really impressed with my lunch and I'll be back soon.
