The first escape room that we went into was a cuckoo's nest. Unfortunately when we were doing this escape room, we felt like there were so many red herrings and distractions in this escape room. A lot of the red herrings included inconsistencies in the clues that didn't match up. For example one puzzle piece not lining up with another puzzle piece. Without giving away the room or how to solve the puzzle it is hard to describe it. This room we were not able to complete within the allotted time. The next room we attempted was home alone. This room had a linear set up and provided a balance between distractions and puzzles. I felt like there was a lot of potential in the 3rd room that could have been exploited but wasn't just to make it simple for the solvers. This room was a really good room. Unfortunately, the fine print. You need to know how to properly use a combination lock. This includes the regular ones (3 turns to the right, pass the first number going to the left, and directly to the last number going to the right) as well as directional locks (left, right, up, and down) know how to do these prior to attempting these escape rooms. If you dont know how to do them it could lead to your down fall. When you are doing these look EVERYWHERE. The details are in the fine print. Padlocked inc you are the definition of awesomeness. I bought a Groupon for a private room . My friends and I had an amazing time. We decided to book Cuckoo's nest which is the hardest room they have. Only 30 percent of people actually escape. My group ended up beating it yay ( we rock). If you want this room ( book it way in advance) because it is one of the most booked rooms.Shout out to Mike our host,he was a real charm. Come 15 mins earlier because you have to be told the rules, sign waivers, and put your belongings in a locker. No phones allowed once you are in the room. I can't give anymore away. Great experience! The gentleman who briefed us before the room was very helpful and informative. The room we did was the Wild West room. The puzzles were challenging but fun and the tips and hints they give you are just what you need to get through the rooms. There were a lot of puzzles that were locks as I had expected by the name. Lol There was only one thing that happened that kept the rating from being 5 stars. In the last room we found a golden egg. We thought it was part of the room, but when we got home, one of the girls that was with me, realized we were supposed to win a free game if we found it. Considering the staff is watching you and the guy helping us saw that we were holding the egg, the fact that we had to read the information online and had to try to contact them about it seemed a little unethical. As a group we felt a little bamboozled, which made us question if we would go back. We are going to try it again, hoping that it was just an oversight the first time. Synopsis: Do it! We did the wild west room and all the clues were intricate enough to be interesting, but were all cohesive and kept your interest. 10/10 would recommend going here not only for the clues, but because the people who work there genuinely care that you have a great time. Fun night out for the girls. We booked the Home Alone escape room which is perfect for kids. Tough enough that it was a challenge but they were able to solve most of the puzzles on their own. We went in a group of 4, age ranging from 19-28, and we had a lot of fun. We did one of the newer rooms called Outlaw Round Up, which was a western cowboy theme. It was very well thought out and very challenging. We didn't think we were going to make it but we got out with a minute and a half to spare. The price was reasonable with a coupon that the website provided for us ($20 each with coupon, $40 each without coupon). We also had a great room leader who provided us with hints and clues when it was needed. We're definitely going to come back and try out their other rooms. Btw they having parking! read more

We did this last night. I liked it a lot. The countdown timer on the TV, plus the live clues, was something I hadn't seen before. The room we did (Home Alone) was challenging, and we needed to use all 3 clues, but we escaped. We had a great time celebrating one of my friends birthday parties on a Saturday night. We had a party of four and did the cube room. We were able to get the last minute slot into a private room. The room we had was clean and well thought out. Even though we didn't make it through the room Alyssa, the best employee there, guided us through the last few clues to give us the satisfaction of solving it. Even though we ran out of time we still had an amazing night. Alyssa is by far the best at customer service. One of her colleagues even whispered to her saying "If they didn't make it just get them out of there, oh well." We were right there and he was trying to whisper it. He was very rude. However I'm not going to deduct points because of how great Alyssa dealt with it saying "Let them have fun it's no big deal." At the end she asked to take photos of our group and sent us off with a smile. Thank you Alyssa! You made our day. Would definitely go back again but Alyssa needs to be on staff. read more

We had a wonderful time at Padlocked inc. The place itself is very clean and organized and the staff is very friendly. The room seemed to be kind of easy compared to other "escape the rooms" we've done, but it was still loads of fun and a challenge. So I made a reservation at about 10:00 am for myself and my daughter for the Home Alone room. Made the reservation online as required. Entered ages as required, which was 1 adult and 1 child under 13. The website accepted reservation, and gave me a confirmation. AT 9:19 pm, over 10 HOURS LATER, I get a call that because someone under 13 is included in the party I have to reserve the ENTIRE ROOM, and that this policy is in their website. Well, no. What I saw on their website indicates that minors must be accompanied by an adult, up to 4 minors per adult. Also, if there are ONLY minors in the room, the whole room needs to be reserved. And if the company policy actually is that parties with minors need to book the whole room, WHY DID THE WEBSITE ACCEPT MY RESERVATION WHEN I BOOKED ONLY 2 SPACES, AND ONE WAS A MINOR??? Since I was not about to pay a few hundred dollars to book 8 slots for 2 people, I had no choice but to cancel. So here is a KIDS THEME escape room that KIDS cannot attend??? My daughter and I have been going to escape rooms all summer, with no problems. She and I both love the online games, and it's more fun IRL. We were excited for this theme as the movie is a fave, and are VERY disappointed how this was handled. This seems like the summer is over, business is slower, and greedy businesses are trying to get more money. And I am not worried about safety - I am IN THE ROOM,SIDE BY SIDE WITH MY CHILD. SHOULDN'T IT BE UP TO ME IF I WANT TO BRING HER?? It's a ROOM; I'm not sending her in by herself, or allowing her to dangle off the building. So now I have a bright, inquisitive and active child who loves these challenges disappointed about not going to this activity. And as there are very few family activities in the area that don't involve shooting something with lasers or video games, I was very happy to take her to do something more cognitively challenging. SO BOTTOM LINE- NOT FOR FAMILIES UNLESS YPU ARE WILLING TO SHELL OUT A FEW HUNDRED FOR A ONE HOUR ACTIVITY. read more
