Neven again. 1st off all the time it took to repair the car was 7 days. At first, they said they thought it was contaminated fuel, even though I told them that it had had half a tank of fuel go through the engine with no problem (it smelt funny like petrol they said). after 2 days of them having my car I phoned them to find out what was happening they told me it was not contaminated fuel, they said it was a regulator valve on the pump inlet (they had ordered the valve and was going to fit it without my consent) this was quoted at £105 (on the bill it's is down for £130) for the valve and with labour it would cost worst case scenario it would be a total of £300 + vat. So, told them to go ahead and do the work but to keep me informed. I had to keep checking in to find out when the part came and when they were going to fit it no curtesy car was offered. I then eventually went down to the garage to ask what was happening. They said they would fit it that day and ring me if there was anything else needed to do, I asked if it would be at 4:30 Nev said would be before that. I waited until 5 and rang them. They told me it was done and to come down. After getting there I then waited 40 minutes as he fixed up a bill, he told me that it would be £565 this is because he has to fit another part the filter housing as it was sucking in air ( was this the problem in the first place and nothing to do with the valve?). This was not authorised by me and there was a lack of communication. I argued the bill and he knocked off an hour labour (£90) this is all well and good but this is still £115 over the worst case scenario price. Do these people think we have money stuffed in the matrass waiting? Overall: - No communication - Not done in a reasonable time - Work done to car without authorisation - Not transparent with work or cost - should be called Nev'll fix it (eventually) at your peril

He charged me £450!! to only have it fixed for one day?!! In the process killed my battery also! Which cost another £80?!! When i went back to him he said theres no warranty on the air-con! There's a leak in the cylinder?!! so what did you charge me £450 for Mo?? Also I had previously had my car serviced with him & found out down the line that he had not refilled my oil after draining it to replace?!! I was driving my car without oil!! Previously to that had i to have my handbrake repaired and turned out he broke my car stereo casing & the sport button on my gear lever had stopped working!! If you're a lady do not use this place! he takes advantage of women and causes more issues for you to keep coming back!! You're a disgrace to the muslim community!

Turning up and seeing taxis waiting for works seemed a good sign and I think it was. The car passed its MOT with a list of recommendations I cant argue with. The owner ran through what I need to do and when and said to do it in pieces as and when I can afford it, zero pressure. Nice guy, seems genuine and honest - wish id used him all along and not Kwik Fit. Very good opening hours, polite and knows his stuff. On a selfish note I hope others keep using him so he remains open so I can keep using him!

They are really well priced so if they can a light bulb in your car you know it is not going to be really expensive but only a couple of pounds. Also they are open half day on a Saturday with is really good so if you don't have time to go there in the week then go on Saturday morning.
