Used this garage as it was recommended to me by the RAC as it is a RAC "Approved" Garage and as it would get priority in getting fixed. 1st mistake listening to the RAC! Neven again. 1st off all the time it took to repair the car was 7 days. At first, they said they thought it was contaminated fuel, even though I told them that it had had half a tank of fuel go through the engine with no problem (it smelt funny like petrol they said). after 2 days of them having my car I phoned them to find out what was happening they told me it was not contaminated fuel, they said it was a regulator valve on the pump inlet (they had ordered the valve and was going to fit it without my consent) this was quoted at £105 (on the bill it's is down for £130) for the valve and with labour it would cost worst case scenario it would be a total of £300 + vat. So, told them to go ahead and do the work but to keep me informed. I had to keep checking in to find out when the part came and when they were going to fit it no curtesy car was offered. I then eventually went down to the garage to ask what was happening. They said they would fit it that day and ring me if there was anything else needed to do, I asked if it would be at 4:30 Nev said would be before that. I waited until 5 and rang them. They told me it was done and to come down. After getting there I then waited 40 minutes as he fixed up a bill, he told me that it would be £565 this is because he has to fit another part the filter housing as it was sucking in air ( was this the problem in the first place and nothing to do with the valve?). This was not authorised by me and there was a lack of communication. I argued the bill and he knocked off an hour labour (£90) this is all well and good but this is still £115 over the worst case scenario price. Do these people think we have money stuffed in the matrass waiting? Overall: - No communication - Not done in a reasonable time - Work done to car without authorisation - Not transparent with work or cost - should be called Nev'll fix it (eventually) at your peril read more

Nev´ll Fix It is the sort of local garage everyone wants to use but can rarely find. I went to this garage on the recommendation of friend. Nev and his team were very efficient and able to carry out a repair at short notice. They are competitively priced and made me feel they had time to explain things to me. I would not hesitate in recommending them to anyone in the area who needs a garage for repair, service or MOT. read more

Ladies please be wary of this garage. Disgusting attitude, no advice when failed my car's mot, just wanted my payment, no interest in booking it in to resolve, refused to give me estimates, failed it on a ridiculous issue. Took it to a different mechanic 2 hours later who was shocked they had failed it. They wanted the mot fee, didn't explain to me the re test system I had to constantly try and ask what to do and the bloke couldn't have cared less. Was really blatant that they were being petty unprofessional and had failed it for something that had they advised me about could have been turned off there and then and car would have passed. Seemed almost pleased that it failed. Blunt, rude, grabbed the money, DO NOT USE. Please be very careful, having spoken to a very experienced head technician of a huge company with 20 years experience I then found out there's absolutely no reason why they should have failed the car.
