Come with me to Paddles Coffee, located in Springfield, GA. This is a coffee and sandwich shop that bakes in-house. My friend recommended it, and I am glad I tried it. Their drink menu has a good variety. I went with an Iced Tiramisu Latte with oat milk. They had some great sandwich options, but I was unsure what to do. I had the "Homebody" made with Double bacon, egg, onions, tomatoes, and cream cheese on a toasted asiago bagel. Everything was delicious. Overall, Paddles Coffee was excellent. The service was very nice. The area has some cute antique shops.

This coffee shop was such a great find! From the moment I walked in with my two young kids, the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. They were patient as I admitted it was my first visit and had no clue what to order. The barista recommended a seasonal drink, and I ended up really enjoying it. My daughter loved her muffin, my son was happy with his cookie, and I got a breakfast croissant that I'm already craving again. Not only was the food delicious, but the prices were also very affordable, making it a fantastic spot for families. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, creating the perfect environment to relax and enjoy good food without breaking the bank. I'll definitely be back! *they also have a meatless menu!

This is my go to coffee shop, I love the speciality flavors they come up with for their coffee (my personal favorite is the peach bourbon iced latte). The shop itself is comfortable to be in, I enjoy bringing my laptop and headphones. The service has always been amazing, I have yet to have a barista who I didn't like!

I love how cute this place is and I love their menu! I ordered a strawberry peach smoothie and it was delicious! The employees were kind and helpful! I love the amount of space they have for seating and they have outdoor seating. I will definitely be coming back to try the other smoothies and the food!

I have been impatiently waiting to check this place out since finding that they are one of the only places in my area that serve my favorite Lotus Energy drinks. A 25 minute drive with my travel buddy, Bennett, led us to being greeted by a manager that was more than happy to turn our business away as they are firm in not allowing dogs that aren't service animals. She seemed bothered and unsure when I notified her that B is an emotional support pup. We were ready to go until other sweet staff members encouraged the manager to allow us to order drinks to go (which was the plan anyways). She didn't seem happy but apparently agreed as she walked away. The seasonal Snow-conut Frost did not disappoint. As we came a bit of a distance, I had to try one of their seasonal coffees as well and I would absolutely make the drive back for the Frosted Sugar Cookie iced coffee BUT waiting outside under a small awning, in the rain, with B in his puppy carrier put a damper on the experience. As B is always with me I probably won't be back but the drinks are good if you're in Springfield and looking to support local. Just don't bring your dog.

Cold brew coffee and a bite of the yummy spinach & feta pastry

While hanging out and exploring Springfield for a potential move, I stopped at Paddles for a coffee and a snack. Drink and food selection is pretty extensive. There's something for everyone. I got a black cold brew coffee (my go-to). It's def coffee, but not tasty. The spinach & feta pastry is great though. Upon approaching the counter, there was a problem with another guest's food which seemed to cause a stir with the staff. I waited from probs nearly a min to be greeted and served by one of the five staff behind the counter. It was awkward. The young lady who took my order was nice, but seemed awkward due to whatever had happened with the guest problem before me. ‍ Awkwardness aside, it's a cute spot for a treat or a brunch any day.

Sausage egg and cheese panini, definitely not skimpy.

Stopped in after seeing a neighbor's post. The atmosphere is great. They had a pretty good menu, I actually had a breakfast sandwich which was wonderful and will purchase again. I look forward to checking out the rest of the menu in the future. Only small downside is power plug access in the main sitting area. There is a bar style sitting area I noticed with access that I will use at my next visit. It is definitely a place to check out when in Springfield Ga.

I really enjoy this place. They have some fun coffee flavors and great muffins. I very much appreciate that they can make me decaf coffees. The staff is very sweet and friendly as well, feels like you are talking to friends. They have more than muffins though (scones, yum!) and other breakfast foods and they also do teas. There is parking right out front and spacious seating inside. This is an excellent alternative to chain coffee places.

    Fall menu

Cute place with indoor and outdoor seating. I stopped for a quick coffee and was pleasantly surprised. Definitely worth the 15 minute detour.

Homebody. Toasted Asiago bagel with cream cheese, bacon, fried egg, tomato, onion.

The staff that greeted us was very nice and accommodating with our reservation and the time moved quickly to get us seated. The place and the kitchen were extra busy to be expected...The problem I have was with the service... if you have read any of my reviews it has to be rough ..because I am service team defender #1. She made several apologies ...understood... BUT... and this is my problem especially if you have worked on tips and it's not a normal service day... even if the kitchen is backed up - at least keep the contact with your table, water glass and coffee cup filled.. and before we start to defend the service she had 3 tables at the most and we had to ask several times IF we even saw her on the floor... for coffee or water. At times she would just walk by and not even make an attempt to check. Look I get it and I'm not here to bash but when you are spending $$ the wait is easier if you have a full drink and some interaction with the staff. (I don't need to be baby sat) Here's what hurts... we have frequented ABE for over 10 years starting in PCB. After an hour of sitting, the food finally rolled out. The beignets were doughy on the inside. The crab cake Benedict was soggy... the potato's were lukewarm, the grits were good not going to beat everything up and when we could get coffee it was great... I watched her other tables (because I had Plenty of time while staying engaged with my people) and it was obvious they were having the same experience. OK the bail out... will we go back "yes" probably not on a holiday... LOL. It could have been a bad day for her... it could be she's new.. based on their standards... overall for me it was disappointing and not the best experience... what's redeeming is when the mother of your children is gracious and forgiving...

You order at the counter and they bring it to your table. The gals working at the counter were very friendly. My daughter ordered a catfish po-boy and I got a dinner portion of their Lo Country boil. I should have had the lunch portion as I ended up taking half of it home. The lo country boil was the classic shrimp, sausage, red potatoes and corn. It was perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of kick. The cocktail sauce served with it had a perfect amount of horseradish. We also shared an order of "firecracker" shrimp. So tasty. My daughter reports her sandwich was tasty if a bit bready. The portion of catfish on the sandwich was plentiful. Sally Mae's is just off the interstate and worth seeking out if you are in the area.

The mac and cheese was fine but not great, the brunswick stew was watery, and the banana pudding was super liquidy and tasted like sunscreen (my husband said soap lol). It was also mostly whipped cream somehow. The hickory bbq sauce was great, the hush puppies were fine with the cinnamon butter, and the cornbread was really good. The portions are also TINY for the price. Staff was nice but we will not be back.

Open only until 2:00 PM, if you're looking for breakfast, brunch or lunch, this is the place to be. Arriving at just about noon, the place was packed, but not unpleasantly so, with customers that quickly moved through the ordering process, past the register, and to the ample seating, of their own choosing (with limited outdoor seating available; but not preferable at the time, due to the spotty showers that also choose to attend). Beverages are provided as payment is being made, leaving no thirst unquenched. Needless to say, seating is immediate. With a cup of rich, flavorful, house blend coffee in hand, my daughter, Son in Law, and I found a seat with a great view of the market activities happening outside only moments before our meals were served. The Italian Panini, chock full of succulent mildly spicy meats and lettuce, covered proportionately with dressing (yes, I was given my own bite size sample) , was my daughter's choice; a visually appealing (although not personally sampled) breakfast platter was the pick of the day for my Son in Law; and, Salmon BLT, composed of one thick, juicy piece of salmon, bursting with flavor, accented by a slice of smokey bacon atop a crisp bed of lettuce, slathered in a mild, but tasty, mustard based sauce, between two halves of a soft , flakey, croissant that more than rivaled the size of an average hamburger bun, was my choice. It did not disappoint. At just under $45.00, before tip, all of this seemed like a bargain. If there could be a downside to this experience, and I would say there couldn't be, it would be that, when visiting Savanah, choosing the place to eat jus became a bit more difficult, with Goose Feathers now in contention.
