    Lobster boil
    Ashley B.

Booked a reservation here, and it's a good thing I did. They were very busy, even with a reservation. Our server was very kind. I ordered a lobster boil and had no idea it was going to be a full lobster. As I have only had a tail or claws. It was very hard to break it apart, my friend ended up hurting his hands on the shell. The server eventually helped us out. Everything was delicious also. The server was awesome. She surprised me with a birthday sundae. It was super good and had a gluten free brownie on it. I would definitely come back here again in the future.

The view from the table. Notice the clothing store, UNIQLO in the back center.

First, Paddlefish is one of the many unique dining experiences at Disney Springs. I've wanted to eat here for years, and with my wife's birthday this week, I figured it was the perfect occasion to finally try it out. The service was incredibly efficient; we had reserved our spot two hours prior, and we were called to be seated not even two minutes after checking in. We were escorted to the second floor and seated in the back beside a window. While the view wasn't my favorite--mostly looking out at a limited angle of the water--I was immediately impressed by the atmosphere. The meal itself was excellent and truly made for a memorable birthday celebration for my wife. If you are looking for a unique spot at Disney Springs with great seafood and a classic atmosphere, Paddlefish is definitely worth the visit! The prices are maybe a tad too high if you have young kids with picky taste buds, but for this couple of diners, EVERYTHING was worth it.

First the smell in here is incredible. I love the decor and the open shrimp bowl kitchen. The wait staff was very kind. The drinks were delicious. We shared several appetizers and they were great. The fried calamari wasn't as crispy as I would like but the dip was good. The scallops were incredible.

Everything was delicious! The salmon was cooked perfectly and I loved the sides. The key lime spritz was so sweet and delicious! Our server was nice, but took some time to come back at the end of our meal. The space was beautiful though and had an elevator and changing tables which are important to us now as parents!

I'll keep it short and sweet- This place is extremely mid. I was on a Disney vacation and had bought a dining plan previously so I decided to splurge and come to the paddlefish for dinner which costs two dine in credits. You get an entree , alcoholic drink and dessert (I would estimate around $90 for one person before tip). All of the food was mid, and the drinks were lacking excitement. The actual vibe of the place is pretty sterile and since it was nighttime we didn't really have a view. Our server was great though!

Great option at downtown Disney/disney springs. Nice place expect a wait try to get a wait in advance if your in a small party ask to sit at the bar. Paddlefish is a seafood-focused, fine-dining restaurant located on a cool reimagined steamboat at Disney Springs in Lake Buena Vista, with waterfront views from most tables, a rooftop lounge for events (it was closed when we went, and a menu with fresh seafood, steaks, and craft cocktails. Great for people watching, families, work groups. But it's an upscale experience, food is a bit inconsistent with the price, Cuisine: Seafood-centric, sith daily catches, crab, scallops, and also steaks and chops. I had a grouper with puff cream pepper on top and it was amazing : Upscale, with 360-degree views of Lake Buena Vista and Disney Springs, Shrimp pasta was a vernal sneak great deal lots of shrimp Grouper with asparagus (lots of sauce wish they as a bit more on the side and less drenching the food ) but still delicious Visit Captain Handsome at the Bar for a real drink and visual treat. He has great recommendations

My family and I had dinner here tonight based off the fact that their online menu states they have chocolate mousse cake which is my mom's favorite. The service was excellent and our server was great but the food was mediocre. It was ok but nothing to rave about. For the prices I'd expect better. -bread, good no complaints -raw oysters good -fried green tomatoes, different but we've had better -The grouper was dry and the artichokes and tomatoes with it were a bit oily -linguini and clams, we've had better -stuffed cod no complaints - key lime pie, meh nothing special, lack luster plating - Chocolate Mousse cake which- doesn't exist. Sadly they no longer have it on their menu. If you are going to update their menu you need to update it online because that's just good business practice. That was why we went in the first place and a big disappointment. Probably would not go back given the chance.

My fiancé and I had great dinner here!! One of the highlights was the delicious lobster corn dogs, which were crispy and flavorful and definitely worth ordering. It was something we've never seen before. The aioli it was served with paired very nicely. For entrees, I had the shrimp pasta, which our waitress Natalia recommended. I ordered it without asparagus. I was very happy with it. Flavors were great! My fiancé ordered the ribeye, and he said it was cooked exactly how a steak should be; simple, well-prepared, and not over seasoned. It was served with kale which was dressed nicely and Parmesan fries. Natalia truly stood out as a rockstar server. Her recommendation made a big difference in our experience. Pro tip: ask for Parmesan and red pepper flakes on the side. Mix a few sprinkles (preference based) into the pasta and then dip the bread into the leftover sauce at the bottom of the dish! It was so yummy! I had every last drop of that sauce. This was a fantastic spot for dinner!

I've seen this place a few times when I was at Disney Springs and always wanted to eat here and I got the opportunity to do so during my birthday trip. The wait was a bit long but I think it is for all restaurants there. Obviously the outside is really cute like a giant paddle boat, but the inside is also really cute with the inside boat theme too. The views are also really fun with car boats driving by and all kinds of fun stuff to watch. Our server was a little strange, but he was nice and efficient so no complaints there. I got the FLORIDA GROUPER which was Pan seared grouper, artichokes, cherry tomatoes, Kalamata olives, lemon and it was very yummy. We also got the Keylime pie, which had torched meringue, which was also really good. I will absolutely return next time I'm in Disney Springs.

The restaurant is actually a boat and there were a lot of different dining rooms. The server was very helpful and pleasant! The bread they brought before the meal was very good super light & airy! I had shrimp & grits & it was really good! The shrimp were blackened but not spicy at all. My daughter had the fried catfish & she said that was good as well. The restaurant was crowded and we did wait over an hour but we put our name on list & continued to shop as the restaurant is located in Disney Springs. There are tons of restaurants there but I do recommend this one.

The food, service and atmosphere is a favorite for our family when we visit Disney Springs. Sitting on the top deck is preferred but they still have great views of the lake inside the dining room.

Went for lunch on a Saturday. It was busy, but not insane. Only a 10 minute walk in wait for 4 people. Once we were sat, it was a full 10 minutes before anyone brought us water. Once we finally got water and met our waiter, we ordered drinks. It was at least another 10 minutes to get them, and they were wrong. They let us keep them and then brought us the correct drinks. Food came out relatively quick (in comparison) and it was all room temperature. I ordered the lobster roll, and confirmed it was served warm. It was brought to the table "deconstructed", meaning a room temperature plain toasted un-buttered roll, a bowl of undressed shredded lettuce, and a bowl of plain lobster meat that was cool. No mayo, no butter, no celery. It was insanely disappointing. Save yourself a trip and just go to Boathouse

    Don R.

Major disappointment. The menu is a great menu but the service and food preparation is not worth the extreme price. 30 minutes after our order was in it finally came out but not together. My salmon was barely above room temperature, the miso was cooled to the point it was solidify. Our steaks were overcooked yet barely warm when served and we had to ask for steak knives. Portions would have been ok if the preparation would have allowed us to eat before it got too cool. The restaurant was clean and noise was not an issue. There are much better options literally within walking distance and for much better prices. Will not be back.

Where is the closest parking to paddlefish?

    Lime Parking Garage, Disney Springs

Do you offer Alaskan king crab legs?

Christina, We currently do not offer Alaskan King Crab. We do have Snow Crab as well as Maine…

Do we need reservations to dine here? I went to Disney Springs last month and all the restaurants…

Disney Springs is super busy, so I would definitely recommend reservations. If Open Table tells you they are sold out, call the restaurant directly.

Do you have to go to Disney / buy admission to go to this restaurant?

This restaurant is located in Disney Springs, which is admission free for visitors. You will have to get yourself there, which can involve taxis, cars, buses or watercraft, depending on where you start from, but there are many cost-free ways.

Hi, dooes anyone know if they are currently offering take-out or is it dine-in with reservation only?

    Dine in only

Do they have a Happy Hour? Food and drinks?

Not that I know of. I never saw anything listed

What's the difference between the crab boils and the crab entrees?

Broiled vs boiled. The Entree is much better but is less and more expensive. I'd recommend the entree if cost isn't a factor.

Does this restaurant move at all?? I know it's "docked" on the water but I get motion sickness easily and if it sways even a tiny bit, I will feel it!

No movement at all! Should be good 👍🏻

What's the difference between the Snow Crab, served with Corn and New Potatoes for $40 and the Snow Crab seafood boil, served with corn on the cob,red potatoes, and corn bread for $29? Why is the one $11 more?

I think you get a smaller amount.

Are the king crab legs all you can eat?

No! Ala carte and I believe they were market price when we were there in Sep. I want to say my husband added them on to his entree and they were $30-$40 add on.

Can you get the steam pots with the dining plan, more specifically the build your own?

Yes! You can get whatever off the menu using the DDP, just know that everything is worth 2 table services and something's will have an additional up charge (DD+17)

I would rename it 3-course-meal. That would be a more accurate description. The place was seafood tacky. Just the ambiance you would expect from a crab shack. Our server was AMAZING. I wish I remembered her name because I would absolutely ask for her again if I go back. My bill for 3 lunches was $205. I don't feel like I got my value for the price. We ate our meals with a paper plate and plastic utensils. Again, for the price, they could give us sturdier eating elements. All in all, it was somewhere I'm glad I experienced just to say I did it. Therefore, we opted for indoor seating and the delightful air conditioning in today's 97 degree heat. The food was very good. The Jamaican jerk chicken wings are seasoned well. This time, they were slightly dry instead of perfect like last time. The grilled chicken with cilantro-crema, mashed potatoes and corn remains my favorite dish on the menu. Ask for a side of the sauce too; it's that good. The cheeseburger and fries was standard and okay but unremarkable, which means it was perfect for my mom who is a picky eater and not adventurous. Pro-Tip: if you are headed somewhere with a refrigerator, order the full portion of the grilled chicken with cilantro-cream and take one breast and some mashed potatoes home for another meal. The full portion is only $3 more than the light version, but comes with a second piece of chicken breast. Otherwise, save the $3 because one breast is plenty filling. You could also consider sharing the full portion plate to save room (and money) for apps or dessert. We chose the flaming pineapple butter cake for dessert. It arrived piled high with pineapples and vanilla ice cream on the side. When the server lit the sauce then poured it, the flames danced. However, not all the alcohol burns off. The cake was saturated and tasted of alcohol where it was poured. Warning: Check your receipt. We were charged $2.99 for trivia games we did not play and $0.50 extra for cheese when the item ordered was a cheeseburger listed as coming with cheese on the menu for $18.99.

We were a bit concerned about the restaurant being our main option due to the bad/mixed reviews of the food. We decided to do a set menu in order to best present to our dinner guests. Just under a week before our reservation, I called the restaurant to talk to someone about arranging a set menu and was told I would have to speak with the manager, but that he was busy at the moment. From then on, I called multiple times and left voicemails that were not returned, or I was told the manager was busy or in meetings. I even went as far as to see if the hotel phone operator could connect me to a direct line, since the manager was apparently the only one who could help. I finally got the manager on the phone 45 minutes before my reservation, after insisting I wait on the line for him to come to the phone. Suffice it to say, he apologized for the delay, explained that he had been off work for several days, and said that 45 minutes was too short a turnaround to organize the set menu for our dinner guests. The biggest problem, whether he was busy, on PTO, or otherwise, is this: Why was no one else on the front-of-house team equipped with the knowledge and skills to finalize a set menu for our dinner? I have planned these types of small dinners and events my entire career, in different cities across the US and with different types of restaurants -- so I am more than a little surprised at how unprofessional or unprepared this restaurant was. I am leaving this review in hopes of helping other event planners avoid a similar issue -- this restaurant may be more accustomed to tourists or typical diners than corporate reservations.

We were staying at a Holiday Inn near Disney Springs so we decided to come here for a late dinner. One of the best decisions made here. We did a late night walk through the shopping center and landed here around 9:50 pm. It was pretty late and we worried there would be no seats but we were seated promptly. The establishment was very ambient, cozy, and well furnished. I liked the warm, glowing atmosphere of the restaurant. The server was extremely polite and took our order quite soon. We were starving after a long day but the food came out in around 20ish minutes which wasn't too bad. The serving sizes were quite huge. We didn't expect this much food for two portions. For $34 per plate, the dishes were large and came with a large helping of sides. The fried chicken was extremely crispy and juicy. They originally wanted to serve the food quickly/more fresh so they served a chicken thigh to me after on a second plate. They also forgot my substitution of Mac n cheese for mash potatoes so I got a free helping of mash which was sweet. The pickled cucumber was light and fresh which tasted great with the heavier chicken. The potatoes were a little heavy and I wish came with gravy, but still delicious. I really loved the Mac n cheese and finished that up. The chicken steak was also delicious with the grits but a little too salty. Wish they added the grits to the side for me to dip as it became a little too much at times. It was better to eat it with a side of potatoes to balance the flavor. The broccolini was sautéed perfectly and delicious, could eat a whole plate of those alone. The biscuits weren't bad but tasted better eaten with the potatoes. The food was a little heavy but so so good. We had to take half of the food to our hotel and ate it the next day for dinner as it was way too much food for one meal. Even after microwaving it, the food was just as delicious and flavorful. We spent about $80 but had so much food leftover. An expensive dinner, but everything tasted amazing. Would definitely come back if I had the chance.
