    Lobster Roll
    Allison M.

Went for lunch on a Saturday. It was busy, but not insane. Only a 10 minute walk in wait for 4 people. Once we were sat, it was a full 10 minutes before anyone brought us water. Once we finally got water and met our waiter, we ordered drinks. It was at least another 10 minutes to get them, and they were wrong. They let us keep them and then brought us the correct drinks. Food came out relatively quick (in comparison) and it was all room temperature. I ordered the lobster roll, and confirmed it was served warm. It was brought to the table "deconstructed", meaning a room temperature plain toasted un-buttered roll, a bowl of undressed shredded lettuce, and a bowl of plain lobster meat that was cool. No mayo, no butter, no celery. It was insanely disappointing. Save yourself a trip and just go to Boathouse

This is probably one of my favorite restaurants on Disney Property. From the moment we walked in, the staff was super friendly and accommodating. We sat inside because it was a windy evening but the view was still nice. You could see the volcano, dinosaur, and car boat rides from neighboring restaurants so the kids enjoyed that. The kids meals were nice portions and their food was really good; I would know, I finished it. We didn't get a picture of my husbands dish, but he got the Mahi and he loved it! I started with the crab ceviche, which was actually enough, considering what I mentioned earlier. Overall great place! They honor the passholder discount and they also give you 20% off of your next visit if you bring your receipt. We will definitely be back!

Came for a celebration and had a nice experience! Got sat earlier than our reservation time which was a nice surprise. The waitress was nice but it took forever to get our drinks and bread. Most of us got the salmon and it was tasty, the Parmesan fries are so good!! The waitress surprised us with a dessert for our celebration which was appreciated. The place was clean and we had a window seat overlooking the water and the shopping area. Looking forward to coming back again!

We have been Visiting Disney Springs for many years but had never tried this restaurant. Now here we are again and we wanted seafood we chooses to go here ... I'm glad we did the ambience was nice the food was great and our server was great also . I liked the different fish selection's like crab oils , stuffed cod , swordfish, grouper, whole Maine lobster's crab fish catfish oysters , appetizers dishes were also some of our favorite. We started with the grilled octopus, and fried green tomatoes, they were scrumptious loved them . The key lime was delicious so was the flan , exceptionally good eats and service we will be back for sure .. This place is popular it was packed but there very well organized, it ran smoothly.. we will be back for sure..

Delicious food and excellent service in this floating comfortable restaurant last Wednesday. Such a nice place rot eat and drink and spend the evening. Start with Warm Fresh baked bread and butter! Appetizers were Calamari and Crab Cake. Both were very delicious. The calamari was perfectly seasoned and cooked to tender with a tasty sauce served with it. The carb cake was wonderful as well, especially being served with the fried green tomato. both were so yummy! Two shared a wedge salad that looked absolutely delicious. Huge slice of lettuce covered with a delicious dressing. The other two shared a Caesar salad which was fabulous. Fresh romaine with a delicious dressing! Very yummy!! Main courses were a Poke appetizer, Grouper, Salmon and Short rib dinners. The Poke was fresh and tasty! The grouper was had by my daughter who said it was very tasty and fresh! The salmon was had by my wife that thoroughly enjoyed the fresh salmon and sauce served with it. My boy had the short rib and loved it and even ordered an extra side on Mashed potatoes. Fall off the bone meat with creamy mashed, so yummy. Please see the pictures and let your eyes do some feasting!

Service was good. Just wish I could say the same for the food. We came back because it was good last time, but not so much for this time. Crab Cake 8/10 Great mixture for the crab cake, had a lot of crab. Fried green tomato was a nice touch but you couldn't really taste it in the whole bite because of the batter was so much it just took over the whole bite. The corn succotash-like was unexpected, as it wasn't listed on the menu as part of the dish. It was good but a cheesy elote would be so much better (like what comes with the fried green tomatoes). The Remoulade was such a tiny bit on the top, it was nowhere near enough to taste in a bite, but if you tried it alone, it was good. Peel & Eat Key West Pink Shrimp 5/10 Absolutely NO flavor. The shrimp was SO BLAND, we didn't even eat them all cause they were just so disappointingly terrible. Filet Mignon 7/10 Medium cook. Was cooked perfect, just not seasoned the best. Just tasted like plain meat. Could have been better and more flavorful. Or at least had a good sauce/butter to go with it. Mashed Potatoes 9/10 Good. Asparagus 9/10 Good. House Steak Sauce 5/10 Tasted like they just tried to home-make the A1 sauce that usually comes in a jar. Wish it was not this sauce. Even a compound butter would have been so much better.

    Garden salad with shrimp

The ambiance is great. We had a view of the lake and also the volcano from the rainforest cafe. I had a full size garden salad with shrimp. The veggies were incredibly fresh and it was perfectly dressed. My companion had the linguini with clams. The bread they brought was fresh baked and yummy. Tip: the whiskey flights were fantastic.

    Seafood tower

TLDR: be prepared to wait and dish out a pretty penny for mid-food. It is really hit or miss. Even with a reservation be prepared to wait. We had a reservation for 7pm, didn't get sat until 7:15pm and our server didn't come and greet us until 7:30pm. Fortunately we weren't in any rush so we didn't mind, but make sure to allot more time than you'd want. We were taken to the 2nd floor, and it was quite loud. Hard to really have conversations within my table and our neighboring tables chairs were definitely hitting the backs of ours. The seafood tower was delicious. A great variety of seafood & cold apps to start. I really enjoyed the blue crab ceviche. For my main I got the linguine & clam and was a little disappointed. There's potential but after eating the seafood tower, the pasta just lacked flavor. Good amount of clams, more on the soupy side and you just wish it had a little more flavor. I ended up sharing the stuffed cod and THAT is delicious. Great blend of flavors, cod is very tender and the mustard helps to bring it all together.

Was in town for work and we wanted to walk around Disney Springs after a long day at a conference. Decided to come here for dinner and I honestly didn't have very high expectations. The restaurant was HUGE and loved the "boat." Staff was also very friendly. I ordered the pork chop - yeah i know i know, ordered pork chop at a fish restaurant? I absolutely did and NO REGRETS! It was delicious! Glad we ended up here for dinner because it did not disappoint!

No wait to be seated which was such a surprise being that most of the restaurants in Disney springs have an hour or longer wait time. I ordered the mahi and it was very dry and barely any taste. My daughter ordered the steak kabob and the meat seemed kinda old. The ambiance was normal but i did ask for a table by the window for the lake view and was told those were all reserved, mind you no one sat there the entire time we were at the restaurant.

Service was amazing from check in to table, even the manager makes rounds. My son has the shrimp pasta in crab broth, very tasty, he tore it up! My little one ordered a cheeseburger off the kids menu, pretty big for a kid's plate. I had the garden salad with salmon rare, blackened. It was a little over cooked, but still delicious. We enjoyed 5$ mimosas while glazing out at the lake. To top off our experience we all shared the key lime pie. It may have been the best I've ever tried!

    Lobster corn dogs
    Joyce L.

Our experience at this restaurant was so-so. We were seated on the second floor with other customers on an early Sunday evening. We were recommended the lobster corn dogs which was basically fried lobsters meat with a taste that was underwhelming. Halibut was ok, my husband had the filet mignon which was also ok. The ambiance in that room was very quiet, no music, almost as if we were in a quiet library. The decor was nothing special. Service was good but I found the whole experience underwhelming.

    Erick W.

We have eaten here many times through the years. They offer excellent seafood options and other food stuffs too! The service is outstanding and the atmosphere is top notch - or top sail - or, well you get it - REALLY GOOD! This is a bit pricey but then again when you consider where it is - it's not that bad either. We've never had a bad meal and they also offer kids activity for children as part of the dining experience - Coloring sheets and crayons or wax sticks that you can create different things with.

Do we need reservations to dine here? I went to Disney Springs last month and all the restaurants…

Disney Springs is super busy, so I would definitely recommend reservations. If Open Table tells you they are sold out, call the restaurant directly.

Do you have to go to Disney / buy admission to go to this restaurant?

This restaurant is located in Disney Springs, which is admission free for visitors. You will have to get yourself there, which can involve taxis, cars, buses or watercraft, depending on where you start from, but there are many cost-free ways.

Hi, dooes anyone know if they are currently offering take-out or is it dine-in with reservation only?

    Dine in only

Do they have a Happy Hour? Food and drinks?

Not that I know of. I never saw anything listed

What's the difference between the crab boils and the crab entrees?

Broiled vs boiled. The Entree is much better but is less and more expensive. I'd recommend the entree if cost isn't a factor.

Does this restaurant move at all?? I know it's "docked" on the water but I get motion sickness easily and if it sways even a tiny bit, I will feel it!

No movement at all! Should be good 👍🏻

What's the difference between the Snow Crab, served with Corn and New Potatoes for $40 and the Snow Crab seafood boil, served with corn on the cob,red potatoes, and corn bread for $29? Why is the one $11 more?

I think you get a smaller amount.

Are the king crab legs all you can eat?

No! Ala carte and I believe they were market price when we were there in Sep. I want to say my husband added them on to his entree and they were $30-$40 add on.

Can you get the steam pots with the dining plan, more specifically the build your own?

Yes! You can get whatever off the menu using the DDP, just know that everything is worth 2 table services and something's will have an additional up charge (DD+17)

The parking wraps arounds and it was very busy and surprisingly finding parking wasn't that bad. When we got into the lobby the wait time was 1hr 15 mins almost 2 hours . They set you up with a text message when the table is ready. We decided to go next door to the souvenir gift shop and wasted some time there and then decided to get back to the car . It was getting closer to time and since at 9pm they stop seating. We were able to walk in and our table was ready. The menu has a lot of different options. We asked the waiter how does it work and they do describe it to you if any questions. We got the cheese sticks to order I would say I wish it was cheesier but it was still good. The house salad with ranch was decent. For my seafood boil I got shrimp headless, snow crab legs, potatoes, sausage , corn. IT WAS THE 10/10!!! I'm not a spicy or a too much seasoning person so I got the garlic butter only. It was very good and had so much butter. For the second round I got calamari , green mussels , corn ,egg, potato. The calamari was so good . And I've never had green mussels and they were delicious! And to finish it off I had a cheesecake for dessert!! Everything was great. It's all you can eat and we definitely enjoyed it to the max! can't wait to come back!! They give you tools just in case if you need it btw!

I got the Hungry Sauce medium and it was super tasty. It was A LOT of food. However, I think the name is a little deceptive. One appetizer, one seafood boil, and one dessert is all you need. I would rename it 3-course-meal. That would be a more accurate description. The place was seafood tacky. Just the ambiance you would expect from a crab shack. Our server was AMAZING. I wish I remembered her name because I would absolutely ask for her again if I go back. My bill for 3 lunches was $205. I don't feel like I got my value for the price. We ate our meals with a paper plate and plastic utensils. Again, for the price, they could give us sturdier eating elements. All in all, it was somewhere I'm glad I experienced just to say I did it. I'm not sure I would return.

It's casual, a little messy in the best way, and perfect if you're going in ready to eat. I ordered the large seafood platter with an extra 1/2 lb of sausage, and went with the Boom medium seasoning. First off -- the portions are no joke. The tray came out stacked with seafood, corn, potatoes, and sausage, all coated evenly in sauce. Definitely the kind of meal where you roll up your sleeves and commit. The Boom medium seasoning was the right call. It had a good kick without overpowering the food, which I really appreciated. The spice was there, but you could still taste the seafood and everything stayed flavorful instead of just being hot for no reason. The sausage and potatoes especially soaked up the seasoning perfectly. Service was great the whole time. Chris, our server, was super friendly and checked in just enough without hovering. Jeff, the host, was welcoming from the start and kept things moving smoothly even though the place was busy. My girls enjoyed the burger and mac & cheese, while we tried the wagyu beef burger and the fish sandwich. Made a reservation for 7:15pm table which was ready when we arrived even though the bar was hopping and a great atmosphere. Ordered a snack item (crab cakes) to share, the swordfish and grouper topped with crab all my with 2 sides, yucca fries and jerk spiced cauliflower. I know the place was busy but it took almost 1hr to get our crab cakes. The server was a little frantic at times as he had several tables to tend to. Once they did arrive we found them to be tasty with a little kick and not a lot of filler. Definitely something I would order again. The grouper dish looked amazing and my colleague thoroughly enjoyed it. As for the swordfish which was blackened and then served in brown butter was okay. A 16oz piece was way too much and even though it was served with brown butter and a crust topping I was not a real fan. There was no real flavor to the dish and I even found the fish to be somewhat dry at times. Shame for the server being too busy to give us the attention you expect from an upscale restaurant where you are paying over $50 for an entree. But the atmosphere and quality of the food was good in general. Therefore the 4 stars.

I was very much looking forward to dining here, but was not prepared for how much it would exceed my expectations!!! The food is amazing. Fried chicken was some of the best I've ever tasted, crispy outside and moist inside. The mashed potatoes were delicious and creamy (get them topped with cheese and bacon!) and my drink was on point. Although my wife's peach sangria might have been the better choice Our server, Alyssa, could teach a masterclass on serving! Funny, engaging, never had to ask for anything....always attentive and on top of everything! Bravo Alyssa!!! Will DEFINITELY be back on our next trip to Disney! P.S. ask Art if he'd consider opening a location in the Houston area

The inside of the restaurant has table and bench seating, as well as a large square shaped bar with plenty of seats. The booths are hardwood not padded, and the tables are solid metal. Their signature item is fried chicken. We ordered the Fried Chicken and Doughnuts. It comes with 2 pieces of chicken, 2 doughnuts and a side of mashed potatoes for $32. We thought it was a perfect meal to share between two because each person gets a piece of fried chicken and a doughnut. The chicken is extra greasy and topped with powdered sugar. It was very good but it still does not rate as highly as Publix or KFC for me. The doughnut was great. I would compare it to a fresh glazed from Krispy Kreme. Service was excellent. We were seated immediately, and greeted at our table by a friendly and efficient server. Overall, everything went well. The prices are high but this is expected due to the location. I would definitely return to try more of the menu.
