A really great vacation meal!!! We were at Disney Springs shopping when hunger struck us-(probably at the same time as hundreds of other diners!!!) most restaurants were on a 45"+ wait time. We checked out Paddlefish to find it was a 20-30" wait so off we went to the bar to rest our weary feet and enjoy a Margarita on the rocks w/ Black Salt and a Tom Collin's with extra Lemons. My dining companion and I enjoyed them! We waited about 35" and were seared in an upstairs dining room. We were served delicious, warm and fluffy dinner rolls with butter which we thoroughly enjoyed! Then ordered and waited a short time for a beautiful Filet Mignon and my Crispy Shrimp Platter . We both enjoyed our entrees -which were done to perfection. My fiancé and I had great dinner here!! One of the highlights was the delicious lobster corn dogs, which were crispy and flavorful and definitely worth ordering. It was something we've never seen before. The aioli it was served with paired very nicely. For entrees, I had the shrimp pasta, which our waitress Natalia recommended. I ordered it without asparagus. I was very happy with it. Flavors were great! My fiancé ordered the ribeye, and he said it was cooked exactly how a steak should be; simple, well-prepared, and not over seasoned. It was served with kale which was dressed nicely and Parmesan fries. Natalia truly stood out as a rockstar server. Her recommendation made a big difference in our experience. Went for lunch on a Saturday. It was busy, but not insane. Only a 10 minute walk in wait for 4 people. Once we were sat, it was a full 10 minutes before anyone brought us water. Once we finally got water and met our waiter, we ordered drinks. It was at least another 10 minutes to get them, and they were wrong. They let us keep them and then brought us the correct drinks. Food came out relatively quick (in comparison) and it was all room temperature. I ordered the lobster roll, and confirmed it was served warm. This is probably one of my favorite restaurants on Disney Property. From the moment we walked in, the staff was super friendly and accommodating. We sat inside because it was a windy evening but the view was still nice. You could see the volcano, dinosaur, and car boat rides from neighboring restaurants so the kids enjoyed that. The kids meals were nice portions and their food was really good; I would know, I finished it. We didn't get a picture of my husbands dish, but he got the Mahi and he loved it! Came for a celebration and had a nice experience! Got sat earlier than our reservation time which was a nice surprise. The waitress was nice but it took forever to get our drinks and bread. What a wonderful experience for my birthday at paddlefish! We sat on the third level with a nice view of Disney springs! We were starving so the phone did not eat first this time but I can tell you that it was absolutely delicious!!! We ordered the clam chowder, very good but just like any clam chowder honestly! We also ordered the fried shrimp which were crispy and delicious! It came with a side of crispy fries! We ordered the shrimp pasta which came with a delicious buttery sauce and I really loved it! Delicious food and excellent service in this floating comfortable restaurant last Wednesday. Such a nice place rot eat and drink and spend the evening. Start with Warm Fresh baked bread and butter! Appetizers were Calamari and Crab Cake. Both were very delicious. The calamari was perfectly seasoned and cooked to tender with a tasty sauce served with it. The carb cake was wonderful as well, especially being served with the fried green tomato. both were so yummy! Two shared a wedge salad that looked absolutely delicious. Crab Cake 8/10 Great mixture for the crab cake, had a lot of crab. Fried green tomato was a nice touch but you couldn't really taste it in the whole bite because of the batter was so much it just took over the whole bite. The corn succotash-like was unexpected, as it wasn't listed on the menu as part of the dish. It was good but a cheesy elote would be so much better (like what comes with the fried green tomatoes). This marks our first Disney World dining experience as adults. Even during the random Orlando summer drizzling, the journey to the spot was a fun one with twists and turns of nostalgia galore. TLDR: be prepared to wait and dish out a pretty penny for mid-food. It is really hit or miss. Even with a reservation be prepared to wait. We had a reservation for 7pm, didn't get sat until 7:15pm and our server didn't come and greet us until 7:30pm. Fortunately we weren't in any rush so we didn't mind, but make sure to allot more time than you'd want. We were taken to the 2nd floor, and it was quite loud. Hard to really have conversations within my table and our neighboring tables chairs were definitely hitting the backs of ours. The seafood tower was delicious. A great variety of seafood & cold apps to start. I really enjoyed the blue crab ceviche. For my main I got the linguine & clam and was a little disappointed. There's potential but after eating the seafood tower, the pasta just lacked flavor. Good amount of clams, more on the soupy side and you just wish it had a little more flavor. Our reservations were delayed by 10 mins past reservation time, even with us checking in 10 mins before hand. The rolls were fluffy and soft, not flavorful but nice to have if you're starving. We did the Disney thing and traveled a long way. It was a blast. But honesty, our experience at Paddlefish was probably the best part of the trip. Our server was Eric and he was easily best server I have ever had in my life. My water never got below half full, he was very kind but also humerus, and his recommendations were on point. My wife had the stuffed cod and had the shrimp pasta. Mini me had the kids pasta and it had really good flavor. My pasta dish was very good and light but also filling. Gotta start with the food. Every bit of everything anyone at the table had was phenomenal. My pork chop was incredibly flavorful and very juicy. The chimichurri and potatoes were the perfect accouterments. I had never heard of macque choux before, but we ordered it as a side for the table, and everyone loved it, we fought overtime the last bites! The edamame and bacon succotash was mostly corn, and while it was pretty good, we all agreed we wouldnt order it again, two orders of macque choux instead! The rest of my table ordered seafood, and while I don't eat seafood, there wasn't a single complaint about the food. The atmosphere of the restaurant in general isn't thrilling. Its white, clean, and fine, but boring. We got lucky and sat in a secluded-ish area right next to a window with a view of the water, which helped. But of you were just in the middle of the main part of the dining room, I can't imagine thered be anything wonderful to say. Our server was also just fine. He seemed bothered in the beginning, maybe because we brought out own wine (paid the corkage fee, of course, we weren't hiding anything), he seemed less bothered by the end but was not friendly, and never smiled. Our final stop of the day was dinner aboard the Paddlefish! We had a reservation and were seated early! Our booth was at the stern of the boat and we got in right before it started raining! We chose this place because we assumed it had good fish based on the name of the restaurant. I wasn't expecting it to be the best salmon I ever had (love salmon) but this salmon was "meh". Good size portion of fish but rather dry and a bit fishy tasting. The salmon has a glaze on it, which helped moisten it some. It gave it a little bit of flavor, but not enough to overcome the overall dryness of it. The meal also includes a medley of vegetables and mashed potatoes. I was forewarned by the server that the mashed potatoes had wasabi mixed in them. When I asked if it was overwhelming or hot, the answer was no not really. The wasabi overtook the taste of the mashed potato. This is not something I would ever consider adding to mashed potatoes.
