We finally got out to try Paddlefish and we're pleasantly surprised. Because there are always reservations available, there's an image that it isn't that good and that image is completely wrong. The restaurant is expensive even for Disney Springs, but the food is top notch. Great spot for a family dinner, it's lively. The tables are spaced apart and are perhaps a little noisy. The only reason we will consider going elsewhere was the price. Dinner for two with no alcohol was nearly $100 after tip and that's hard to do even expecting to pay a lot. read more

Had dinner tonight at Paddlefish with my son for his birthday. He ordered their expensive ribeye and was excited to enjoy it. Once he cut into it, he realized it was very much overcooked. We tried getting the attention of the waitress who never checked back with us once it was delivered. I had to get up and flag down another server to help . After that, she came over and questioned my son instead of being empathetic and understanding. Questions like " How did you think it would look?" "What would you like for me to do" I responded " He d like it to look medium rare like he ordered it." Even the table next to us told him it was very overdone. Then she took it away with a slight attitude in her step. No manager came over .. nothing. After about 15 minutes , he was sent out another steak that was more on the rare side. I understand that Disney Springs is a tourist " trap" and I wasn't expecting to have a " fine dining " experience, however at $58 , you d think that when a steak is overcooked, there , at least would be a little decency in the exchange. We had dinner reservations on a Thursday night. Even we were a little early we were seated immediately and the first into the dining hall that looked out on the wheel. Our server, Kat was amazing. I love complementary bread and butter, and it was so good. As appetizers, we had the shrimp cocktail and the scallops both were delicious. What was really not good was the clam chowder, it was basically all bacon bits, and I did not finish it because it was just not good. If it was more soup and less bacon, it would have been good. Luckily, they took it off the check. The Caesar salad salad was very good, but had a lot of dressing. The salmon that was added as a protein was good but very undercooked. I am not a seafood person but this restaurant was too cool to pass up. The cucumber sipper mocktail was so refreshing! I opted for the chicken breast for my meal. The bbq sauce was tangy and just a little bit spicy. The succotash with it was fresh and a good side dish option after eating treats around Disney Springs all day. But I didn't feel like I was missing a good carb like some bread or potato. My server and the hostess were super friendly! First, Paddlefish is one of the many unique dining experiences at Disney Springs. I've wanted to eat here for years, and with my wife's birthday this week, I figured it was the perfect occasion to finally try it out. ​The service was incredibly efficient; we had reserved our spot two hours prior, and we were called to be seated not even two minutes after checking in. We were escorted to the second floor and seated in the back beside a window. While the view wasn't my favorite--mostly looking out at a limited angle of the water--I was immediately impressed by the atmosphere. The meal itself was excellent and truly made for a memorable birthday celebration for my wife. If you are looking for a unique spot at Disney Springs with great seafood and a classic atmosphere, Paddlefish is definitely worth the visit! I was on a Disney vacation and had bought a dining plan previously so I decided to splurge and come to the paddlefish for dinner which costs two dine in credits. You get an entree , alcoholic drink and dessert (I would estimate around $90 for one person before tip). All of the food was mid, and the drinks were lacking excitement. Booked a reservation here, and it's a good thing I did. They were very busy, even with a reservation. Our server was very kind. I ordered a lobster boil and had no idea it was going to be a full lobster. As I have only had a tail or claws. It was very hard to break it apart, my friend ended up hurting his hands on the shell. It was something we've never seen before. The aioli it was served with paired very nicely. For entrees, I had the shrimp pasta, which our waitress Natalia recommended. I ordered it without asparagus. I was very happy with it. Flavors were great! My fiancé ordered the ribeye, and he said it was cooked exactly how a steak should be; simple, well-prepared, and not over seasoned. It was served with kale which was dressed nicely and Parmesan fries. Natalia truly stood out as a rockstar server. Her recommendation made a big difference in our experience. Pro tip: ask for Parmesan and red pepper flakes on the side. Mix a few sprinkles (preference based) into the pasta and then dip the bread into the leftover sauce at the bottom of the dish! I've seen this place a few times when I was at Disney Springs and always wanted to eat here and I got the opportunity to do so during my birthday trip. The wait was a bit long but I think it is for all restaurants there. Obviously the outside is really cute like a giant paddle boat, but the inside is also really cute with the inside boat theme too. The views are also really fun with car boats driving by and all kinds of fun stuff to watch. Our server was a little strange, but he was nice and efficient so no complaints there. I got the FLORIDA GROUPER which was Pan seared grouper, artichokes, cherry tomatoes, Kalamata olives, lemon and it was very yummy. My family and I had dinner here tonight based off the fact that their online menu states they have chocolate mousse cake which is my mom's favorite. The service was excellent and our server was great but the food was mediocre. It was ok but nothing to rave about. For the prices I'd expect better. -bread, good no complaints -raw oysters good -fried green tomatoes, different but we've had better -The grouper was dry and the artichokes and tomatoes with it were a bit oily -linguini and clams, we've had better -stuffed cod no complaints - key lime pie, meh nothing special, lack luster plating - Chocolate Mousse cake which- doesn't exist. Went for lunch on a Saturday. It was busy, but not insane. Only a 10 minute walk in wait for 4 people. Once we were sat, it was a full 10 minutes before anyone brought us water. Delicious food and excellent service in this floating comfortable restaurant last Wednesday. Such a nice place rot eat and drink and spend the evening. Start with Warm Fresh baked bread and butter! Appetizers were Calamari and Crab Cake. Both were very delicious. The calamari was perfectly seasoned and cooked to tender with a tasty sauce served with it. Major disappointment. The menu is a great menu but the service and food preparation is not worth the extreme price. 30 minutes after our order was in it finally came out but not together. My salmon was barely above room temperature, the miso was cooled to the point it was solidify. Our steaks were overcooked yet barely warm when served and we had to ask for steak knives. Portions would have been ok if the preparation would have allowed us to eat before it got too cool. The restaurant was clean and noise was not an issue. A really great vacation meal!!! We were at Disney Springs shopping when hunger struck us-(probably at the same time as hundreds of other diners!!!) most restaurants were on a 45"+ wait time. We checked out Paddlefish to find it was a 20-30" wait so off we went to the bar to rest our weary feet and enjoy a Margarita on the rocks w/ Black Salt and a Tom Collin's with extra Lemons. TLDR: be prepared to wait and dish out a pretty penny for mid-food. It is really hit or miss. Even with a reservation be prepared to wait. We had a reservation for 7pm, didn't get sat until 7:15pm and our server didn't come and greet us until 7:30pm. Fortunately we weren't in any rush so we didn't mind, but make sure to allot more time than you'd want. We were taken to the 2nd floor, and it was quite loud. Hard to really have conversations within my table and our neighboring tables chairs were definitely hitting the backs of ours. The seafood tower was delicious. A great variety of seafood & cold apps to start. I really enjoyed the blue crab ceviche. For my main I got the linguine & clam and was a little disappointed. This is probably one of my favorite restaurants on Disney Property. From the moment we walked in, the staff was super friendly and accommodating. We sat inside because it was a windy evening but the view was still nice. You could see the volcano, dinosaur, and car boat rides from neighboring restaurants so the kids enjoyed that. The kids meals were nice portions and their food was really good; I would know, I finished it. We didn't get a picture of my husbands dish, but he got the Mahi and he loved it! I started with the crab ceviche, which was actually enough, considering what I mentioned earlier. Overall great place! What a wonderful experience for my birthday at paddlefish! We sat on the third level with a nice view of Disney springs! We were starving so the phone did not eat first this time but I can tell you that it was absolutely delicious!!! We ordered the clam chowder, very good but just like any clam chowder honestly! We also ordered the fried shrimp which were crispy and delicious! It came with a side of crispy fries! We ordered the shrimp pasta which came with a delicious buttery sauce and I really loved it! For dessert we got their key lime pie with a toasty marshmallow topping and wow that was my favorite!!!! We decided to go to Paddlefish restaurant from the kiosk when you enter. We looked on the kiosk and their was a wide selection of restaurant to choose from. But everyone wanted seafood and the menu looked really tasty. And we was celebrating our 32 year anniversary. And My Aunt and Uncle was also celebrating their 49 year anniversary. We had a 10mim wait the We were seated over looking the water, boats that was sailing by. And the fire volcano from another restaurant. The hostess greeted us and was very nice. We all seat down and were pleased with the location of seats. Then they gave this hot bread that melted in your mouth but my family loved putting butter on the fresh bread. No one had drinks because it was late and we had to drive back. Omg the food was so good and everyone enjoyed every bit. We all got appetizers to share and some got salad and soup. The restaurant wasn't crowded. But we did close the restaurant down. I just wish we had got their earlier when the sun was setting. Let me tell you about our awesome waitress. Her name is Rita where can I start. She came to the table with a lot of energy and a bright smile on her face. And I know she had a long day and we was her last table for the night. When I tell you she was on point. She remembered all of our allergies and didn't forget anything. Our food came out hot and delicious. We even had a slice of a three layer chocolate cake for our anniversary for each couple. And my husband had a big slice to his self because I couldn't have any cake of my allergies. So I had the fruits on the stick and it was delicious and dunking in the chocolate sauce. It was hard to choose my dinner because they had so much to choose from on the menu. Fortunately, we were seated within about 10 minutes. The exterior is beautiful, and the restaurant offers excellent views of Disney Springs, depending on where you're seated. There's also an outdoor bar on the upper deck. Food: 1/5 We started with the crab ceviche, which cost $18. The portion was extremely small, it came with stale chips, and it had very little flavor. Unfortunately, it was a strong indication of how the rest of the meal would go. The bread was somehow both hard and soft, the butter was flavorless, and the bread wasn't served warm. I ordered the special clam pasta for $24, while the other entrée was shrimp pasta for $25. The service is outstanding and the atmosphere is top notch - or top sail - or, well you get it - REALLY GOOD! This is a bit pricey but then again when you consider where it is - it's not that bad either. We've never had a bad meal and they also offer kids activity for children as part of the dining experience - Coloring sheets and crayons or wax sticks that you can create different things with. read more

Our experience at this restaurant was so-so. We were seated on the second floor with other customers on an early Sunday evening. We were recommended the lobster corn dogs which was basically fried lobsters meat with a taste that was underwhelming. Halibut was ok, my husband had the filet mignon which was also ok. The ambiance in that room was very quiet, no music, almost as if we were in a quiet library. The decor was nothing special. Service was good but I found the whole experience underwhelming. read more
