This was a very good find for both food and beer. My boyfriend and I enjoyed the fish and veggie tacos. We also split the quinoa salad and found it to be a very flavorful salad. Stopped by late on a Thursday night and it was fairly busy. I only had time for 2 beers so I chose their house brews and was not disappointed. They have a great selection so I have definitely put this place on the list of nice little places to stop on the next trip through. The staff was very attentive not only to me, but as I watched them interact with others I felt everyone was enjoying their visit. The chef even stepped in when it was busy to take orders. Good food and beers in a fun atmosphere. Asked the staff for the corn hole set to play immediately outside the brewery entrance on the sidewalk to enjoy a beautiful Grayling evening. Up rides a man on a bicycle who dumps out the beer of a person in my party. "You can't drink that out here; I'm the owner." Thanks for having signs posted letting us know that beforehand and being so polite about it. Not the best way to have positive word of mouth spread for a new business in a small town. read more

It was a great experience for our family of 6. We were greeted immediately upon entry and attended to shortly after. We placed our drink and food order at the same time. Drinks and our pretzels and beer cheese came out immediately and the food followed shortly thereafter. We tried 3 different pizzas and loved them all! We enjoyed the atmosphere too. Great service for our first visit. Waitress was super helpful and explained the beer board. We ordered the cheesy bread which was amazing, pub pretzels which were great, the BBQ chicken flatbread pizza which was awesome, and the shredded beef tacos, which were good. Great atmosphere! We've been to Paddle Hard several times, and loved it. Finally had the opportunity to bring family here and "show off" what Grayling had to offer. Today was a disappointment. Beer selection was spot on. But listening to "head banging music" on a Sunday afternoon on Father's day was awful. Several families were in the restaurant ordering food, and we were all clearly annoyed by the music. Fyi, we would rather hear the ball game, or something more pleasant on a Sunday afternoon. read more

Very good service, they were awesome with our 5 and 7 year old boys. Very good pizza, only had better at 2 places. reasonable prices, an 11"pizza makes a good meal for one person. The house Shandy and HUP All Night were good, and they had an excellent selection of MI craft beers on tap. Will be back, we plan to make it a regular stop when traveling through the area! read more

Stopped in on my way to the Upper Peninsula. Beer selection was great with plenty of different brews. My girlfriend and I sat at the bar and got great service. Food was delicious. We both got a panini and split a flight. I would definitely stop by next time I'm passing through. read more

Saved the trip! Stopped here (on the way to a canoe trip on Manistee rv.) to buy ice for camping. I unknowingly dropped a wad of cash on the counter that was needed for the 2 day trip. I'm a senior and that was saved up for several months to help my son and his family (here for the week on vacation) with expenses. After paying for the ice I headed out side to grab the ice and the cashier followed me out handing me the cash and told me what I had done. I was in such shock, all I could do was explain how much that meant to us and how she saved our trip! I'm from the metro Detroit area and had this happened there, good chances the money would have never been seen again!! Good things come to those that do right by others! This same kind of paying it forward has happened to us too, when we found cash, wallet, credit cards, papers and important pictures. Fortunately we located the lady from id inside the wallet and she too was overwhelmed and with her mother recently dying she said the wallet and things belonged to her mom along with her mothers mementos, which she said meant much more than the cash inside! Very nice choice of beers on tap. My husband started with flight of beers. We shared the sausage board, which is amazing. The warm bread, which is homemade, is served with the board and had me hooked for more. Friendly staff. Husband also had the tacos, which he said tasted great. We looked for a convenient stop along 75 that served good food and beer so we thought this was a winner, boy were we wrong. Walked in as a party of 4 and had to ask other patrons if there was a hostess as there is no stand and nobody cared to greet us. Once we finally did get the hostess's / waitress's (apparently they do both) attention, we were put on the list with a very unsure 30-40 minute wait...ok no problem. Had a few beers and waited it out, only to watch multiple other parties be sat before us. At this point we had been waiting an hour and watched a group that was 5 below is in order, get seated because they had 6 compared to our 4. There are multiple tables mind you that seat 6 at this establishment, there was no reason we should have been passed up for them to be seated. All said and done, we ended up leaving in disappointment, not even had eaten. The staff was cold, unwelcoming and unfriendly. If you plan on visiting this establishment, hopefully you don't have to deal with their unsophisticated and unorganized way of seating in the order you came in. read more
