The stole the rolled up money and left the coins.

Do not, I repeat, do not use this company. I hired them to move me to a home on November 21, 2024. I had a two-person crew, and the price was reasonable at 600.00. Days later, after going through my suitcases, I realized the crew had stolen over 400.00 dollars from me. I paid 600.00 and tipped them 150.00 only to find out days later they rummaged through my luggage and stole my rolled bills from my bag. I contacted the owner, who didn't seem phased, and filed a police report. Do not use this company. I honestly forgot that I put the mason jar with money in the bag, but I never imagined movers would rummage through my bags and steal money. Do not use them.

One decorative pillow that came with my new couch was lost during the move.

I should have read the reviews prior to booking with Pack-It Movers because I had a similar experience as some of the negative reviews. Looking at the defensive responses from the company, accountability for what occurs during the moves is lacking, instead of using them as an opportunity to improve. For starters there's a total lack of communication within the company. I requested a quote online in May. On May 22nd, Henry sent a quote of: HOURLY PRICE: 3 Hrs x $155.00 Per Hr, TRIP FEE $79.00, total $544.00. On May 25th, Tracy called with the same hourly quote, but the "Trip Fee" was now $84. After I told her what Henry emailed me, the trip fee went back down to $79. I was also offered a $50 gift card if I made a reservation with them at that time. My moving date was scheduled for June 21st at 10 a.m. On June 20th, Rodrigo called to confirm my move and because I already had the keys to the new place, he offered a new arrival time between of 8-9 a.m. Later that day, someone else called to also confirm the move but was stating the 10 a.m. arrival time. I told them that I'd already spoke to Rodrigo, and he offered an 8-9 a.m. time. That person got confused. So, then I spoke with Henry because at this point, I was getting confused about why two different people, from the same company, were calling me twice in the same day to confirm a move with different arrival times. There were supposed to be 3 men for the moving job, but it was more like 2 and 1/2 men because Jose stayed upstairs a lot of the time on his phone (at both apartments) while Adrian and Alex did 90% of the actual loading and unloading. They arrived at 9:11am on June 21st. Jose tried to document their start time at 9:00 a.m. until I pointed out that 9:00 a.m. couldn't possibly be their start time because they weren't even at my place at 9:00am. Then Jose preceded with, "I don't know if you know but there's a $90 trip fee?" So, I had to show him my email from Henry with the $79 Trip Fee in writing. Then Jose says, "I don't know if you know but there's a $45 fee to plastic wrap anything?" I told him that was strange because with the moving companies I've used in the past, that service/fee was always included with the mover's fee. So, I wrapped some of my furniture with my own plastic wrap. At 11:17 a.m., Jose says, "I don't know if you know but there's a $44 fee for using a credit card or it could be waived for using a cash app". I was then charged for the move well before they had even finished. At this point myself and 2 of my sons got on THEIR moving truck and start helping THIER movers to unload our stuff because Jose said they needed to be finished by 12:11 p.m. Mind you Adrian and Alex were still the only ones unloading. At 12:28 p.m., Jose says that he was on the phone with Henry because their time 12:11 p.m. ending time had passed. I told Jose to inform Henry that 2 of my sons and I had actually been getting on THEIR moving truck and helping Adrian and Alex unload for over an hour. At 12:29 p.m., I even sent Henry an email stating this. After receiving the email Henry called me and told me that his movers were in fact "doing me a favor by moving my things and that it would be an extra $83.89 for the extra 30 minutes it was going to take to upload the rest of my stuff". The movers did not unload the rest of my things until after Henry had me send an email approving the $83.89. After, this unprofessional move, I started inspecting my things and realized that they broke 2 feet off on the bottom of my dresser, put a whole in the leg of foot stool to my new couch and lost one of the decorative pillows that came with the new couch. To add insult to injury, they sent a text right after they left asking for a review of their move. Well, here's your review...NEVER AGAIN...TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL...LACKS PROPER COMMUNICATION WITH CUSTOMERS AND WITHIN THE COMPANY...THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS OR YOUR BELONGINGS, THEY'RE ONLY CONCERNED ABOUT THE MONEY!! If they only realized that treating your customers with respect leads to more money. Saying prayers for this company and its employees.

Beware!!!!!!The move with this company was one of the most horrendous experiences ever. I request service for a late evening move my communication with Tracy was clear. Tracy advised me it would take 2hrs, but the location of my unit I advised her it would take longer she gave me a quote $535,00..The movers the company sent were Corey and Shane slow, upset, unorganized, complaining, rude, disrespectful the entire move they act as if they were upset because of the job assigned to thrm. I mentioned to them they should probably communicate this with their boss I was moving out of a1 bedroom apartment 770 square unit. I pulled everything out of the apartment myself (customer) to make the move quick as possible. These men were tired I understand and it was only 2 of them, when they said the company should had sent a 3rd person. These men complained the whole time and what could had been a 5hr move turned into a 7 hr move..You heard me correctly. There were no heavy appliances only a couch, dining table and bed. I'm very disappointed of how Pack It Movers would send unprofessional in my personal that lack effective communication skills, and hard to work with. They never came back I called they said they left it was never communicated just left, I get to the new apartment, mind you they left before me there not there. When they arrived they slammed me with a bill for $950.00 it was no way I expected that I didn't set money aside for the expense to be this expensive, I explained I didn't have that kind of money. Immediately I was threatened they would take all my belongings for $950, and I have a truck loaded with more then $20000 of my personal belongings..I spoke with their boss Henry and gave highlights of the night with the movers...He didn't care how I had been treated as a customer he just wanted his money. I was never disrespectful to the men I offered water and also was going to buy them sandwiches. I paid just so I can get my belongings. The mover Corey I asked about a box was wet, this man being aggressive disrespectful yelling inside my home walking around like he owned the place, he threatening my daughter as if he was going to harm us, he cursed and was acted as if he wanted to fight us...These slow mover didn't finish until 1am in the morning...Called Tracy the next morning no accountability was taken, no apologies. these people treated us with disrespect, then you send tired broke down mover to do a job, Pack it Movets I wished you would had said you couldn't accommodate me for the services, whether sending people to be in my space I don't heat could possibly harm me and my family. Corey should be really careful cause this situation could had escalated, into something worse. I advised you Cory next you step into situation you might not be yhst lucky. If you were dealing with men instead of women I bet you would have had a better attitude...

Bed that was broken by company

Horrible!!! Horrible!!! Horrible!!! I read the bad reviews initially but still gave them a chance!!! After breaking my bed, moving slow all day, then leaving the screws for my bed which prevented them to try to put bed back together, they had nerve to ask me to pay an additional 30 mins. I refused to pay that, so the owner then refused to do anything else to my bed. They discounted the wrapping of my furniture to make up For the piece of the bed that was broken but because I refused to pay an additional 30 mins which I feel should have been waved because we spent several minutes discussing the issue with the bed. They left my bed dismantled. Definitely something a lady can't fix alone!! Horrible business, horrible customer service!!! Do yourself a favor and never use this company!!! Believe the bad reviews you read!! No Professionalism whatsoever!!!

PSA DO NOT USE Pack-It Movers THEY JUST CANCELED ON US 1 HOUR AFTER THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO BE HERE!!!! very rude and unapologetic. I called at 9 am to confirm. They emailed me at 1045 saying they had the wrong phone number I called immediately they canceled service because I was rightfully upset that now at this point they were going to have to send someone out Monday but we HAD to be out today. The number they had wasn't even close to my number and was set up like this 723456789 so I thought it was a customer ID number. They sound set it up like this 123-456-7890 so it's obvious it's a phone number. Spoke to faez, and he was very disrespectful and basically told me it was my fault... SHARK MOVERS Matched their price and saved the day! In their email they have their number set up correctly

The "company" IS NOT BBB accredited (see photo). Find other movers y'all.. I'm telling you!!!! Also, I just took my things out of storage and they broke some of my items. Total trash **FYI: If you do decide to use them anyway, DO NOT pay in Zelle or cash. You will not be able to dispute that with your bank. These people are scammers and a fraud.

Broken antique hutch!

Where do I begin? Hidden cost and undisclosed charges until AFTER they arrived at the new location, and would not unload until ALL charges were paid! Three-man crew.....two of which worked very hard, while one complained constantly and used excessive loud profanity about what he would or would not do! One tried to get me to sign something stating my furniture was not damaged, and lied to the owner that nothing was damaged. I have invested a lot of money into my furniture pieces! Heirlooms that I hoped to one day pass down to my children or grandchildren! I have moved this furniture across country TWICE, and have NEVER had my furniture damaged or dealt with such an unprofessional moving company. The manager, Anthony J. didn't even offer an apology, but sent emails stating which things were an "easy fix with gorilla glue", or just need "a needle and thread", and how "old my furniture was"! Horrible! Unprofessional! Disrespectful! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!

Conversation with Henry

I would not recommend using Pack-It Movers. I hired the Company to move items from one apartment to another two miles up the street. Two movers, Trey and Juan, showed up and moved everything quickly but very sloppily. See the damages in the attached photos, they scratched the walls, broke the legs on my sofa and destroyed my bed frame by breaking the rails. Despite my better judgment, I still paid and tipped with the promise from Trey that they would repair the damages within the next few days and exchanged numbers- *3277. Long story short, after many phone calls and several texts, Trey stopped responding and never repaired anything even after I bought the paint myself to repair the wall. I then call the Company and speak to someone named Henry who offered to help. Henry asked that I send him pictures of the damage and my texts with Trey which I promptly sent to *5256. I never get a text response from Henry and subsequent calls went unreturned. This all happened some time ago but I never thought to leave a review on here to warn others until now. Through today I never got a refund, damage repairs, or anything else to remedy the problem. Use a different moving company.

Henry gave me a quote then wanted to charge me another hour. I don't trust them, will not use them again.

Quoted me a price then later said that they took longer because of where they parked their truck. Wanted to charge me an hour more and materials they used to wrap my stuff. Bad experience, Henry was unprofessional saying it was clearly my fault for not being there to supervise them. I didn't know I was in the moving business now?? They told me they'd be there between 1-3pm. Show up at 3:18pm and don't even thank me for my patience, also leave me a note insulting me by the way. Here it is, I will never do business with them again. Me la pelan.

Table the worker tried to take from the package with his foot. Stepping on it.
