Thanks to Joshua for an outstanding service. After moving from Virginia to Texas, we are afraid that our 8 yrs old piano was not in stable condition, but with Joshua help, it is now in excellent condition. My son will be thrilled when he comes home and could enjoy it in my new home in Texas. read more

This was Josh Ello's second time tuning our 'hand me down' piano. He did a wonderful job bringing the sound back. Josh is pleasant and gets right to work but always has a little extra time to chat about music with our little 7 year old piano player. I highly recommend this business! read more

Had a great experience. Joshua was very pleasant and did a great job highly recommend him

Great piano tuning service! Online appointment system is so convenient. Joshua is prompt, friendly and professional. What I liked best about the service is that he was very honest and didn't try to up sell us on the service. He explained what he did and what the piano needed and I really appreciated his candor. I definitely recommend this company! read more

We had a water damage in our home and the piano sat in a couple inches of water for a few hours. I contacted Ello and told them the make and model of my piano as well as what happened. They informed me that the amount of work that the piano would need, as well as the possibility of the strings rusting and needing replacement eventually, would be way more than the value of the piano and was not worth it financially. To me the fact that they turned down work for the betterment of a client requires a lot of integrity and I appreciate that. read more

Great experience with Josh. With holidays coming and family coming realized we need to get piano tuned. He fit us in during busy holiday via self schedule on website and provided great service. Besides the other great reviews you read he was the only one who had availability during their busiest season. Everyone else who had good reviews was booked weeks out. Also wore mask so A++ and took shoes off without being asked! We have 35 yr old Baldwin 243 studio. It sounds great now! read more

Outstanding service. Expert tuning and piano refurbishing. They did a great job in bringing my old Steinway back to life.

I hadn't had my grand tuned for several years. Ello was fantastic. Piano well tuned and cleaned after their visit and my piano sounds fantastic. Reasonable, and thorough, highly recommend them. read more

Highly recommended. I was able to easily make an appointment on their website. My grand piano was in desperate need of tuning after being moved, and Josh did an excellent job. He explained different tuning options and pricing without being pushy. Josh also adhered to social distancing guidelines and wore a mask, which I was very appreciative of. I plan to use them many times in the future for my yearly piano tuning. read more

I wouldn't trust just anybody to touch my prized grand, so I shopped around. Josh Ello and Ello Piano Service gets the nod. Obviously he's extremely technically capable, but you'd expect that with years of experience. But as a side-benefit, Ello's pricing is clear and upfront, and they'll tell you the truth. Last visit, Josh told me I can actually get my piano tuned _less _ often as it's holding its pitch so well. Imagine that -- being told you can use less of a service! I almost wish Ello Piano would branch out into servicing cars and air conditioners. Professionalism, quality, honesty - a great combination. read more

Joshua repaired my used piano 6 years ago when we first bought it and did a great job. I honestly thought it was a lost cause. He has returned twice to tune and is prompt, pleasant and professional. I recommend Ello Piano Service to my friends. read more

I met Ello Piano service when I had to have repair work done on my piano following my move. I was very pleased with Mike's work. He was prompt arriving, courteous and professional while he was here. When it was time to have my piano tuned, there was no question for me but to have Ello do the tuning. Joshua did the tuning. He called before he arrived and was courteous and very professional. I will definitely continue to use Ello Piano Service. read more

We were so impressed with their service. Great recommendations. Fast and thorough. On time and professional. We will call upon them again!

My sincerest apologies for sending this out late...my daughter and I have been sick for the past 2 weeks. Aside from that - I cannot say enough about everyone connected to this company. Their experience and professionalism spoke Volumes, and at the same time, they offer a "special, small-town connection when you first speak with them and book your appointment." They are personable, friendly and take their time to know about your piano and how they will be able to help you - I was never rushed. When Joshua arrived, he was just as professional; he took the time to explain the parts of this very special Steinway I have, why he thought which parts should be tended to, which parts looked fine, and why I should charge what he suggested. Again, I understood all that was being explained, and Joshua clearly has thorough training in what he speaks about. I Highly Recommend Joshua and The Ello Piano Service Company for a trained eye and a professional opinion regarding your Steinway. I was More than Thrilled to have Joshua in my home to help me confidently put together a fair bid for the sale of my Steinway. Many thanks, Bleakney M read more

The best. Period. This family is a joy to do business with. Joshua is prompt, kind, fair, honest, and most of all talented. His ears are fantastic. I couldn't wait to get home to play after he tuned my upright Yamaha. My daughter started taking piano lessons this year and when I asked around for a great tuner, the Ello family name came up again and again. Thank goodness for great recommendations. Excellent service. I have a really old upright piano built in 1901. Joshua repaired several broken keys and tuned it beautifully. Very friendly and professional service both on the phone and in person. I liked the email confirmation and invoicing, and the email reminder for the number tune up. I would definitely recommend and use again. read more
