Don't know what happened to this place, is it new management or just a few new angry staff members. We had two bad experiences with Pacini's in the recent past I had to update the glowing review I left awhile back. I have a close friend whose child has a severe egg allergy. I called to ask if they used egg in their pizza dough. The woman who answered was so incredibly rude, I decided I was not going to chance the child's health with this place. Second time....We had some construction going on at our house and ordered two plain pies for the workers. The delivery guy only brought one. We called to complain. Once again, same woman questioned us, challenged our order and continued to give us much attitude. How dare you?! We paid via an online app, how can you mess up such a simple order and then continue to have an attitude? More than an hour later we still didn't get our delivery. Never again. read more

Waited two hours for food that never showed up, even though the restaurant confirmed the GrubHub order. We ordered at 9:40pm, they confirmed at 9:57pm. Called them about an hour and a half in to find out what happened. No answer. Realized that they closed at 10:30pm (it was 11:15 when we called), but they were still taking orders up through 10:30pm for some reason. My fiance wound up having to make a White Castle run because that was the only thing still open by the time we realized the food wasn't coming and gave up. There's literally no excuse for this. We ordered almost a full hour before closing time, WITH RESTAURANT CONFIRMATION, and somehow our entire order went missing with zero contact from the restaurant. Never again. read more

12/9/13 at 1230 pm just ordered the Shrimp Scampi and 2 bake Zitis, Door bell rings and we get the order. Before i open the box i smell something rancid. COuldnt be our box, look on the floor and there is grease dripping out of the box. I open the box and bam that smell hit me hard. Already it smells like rotten cheese. that was just the ziti order. we let our best friend eat her scampi but she said no and put it down took one bite, but the oil that was in that scampi was enough to use to sear a chicken breast. my wife called the pizzeria to complain and get her money back, they told her that cheese was fresh and there is suppose to be alot of oil in the scampi since it was a lunch special. great conversation on the phone with customers. Luckily my wife told me after or i would have talked to to him myself and went down there personally. but they gave us a pie instead for free. I would recommend spending your money elsewhere. we called them back and asked them is that the same cheese they used on the pizza they used on the ziti, they said yes, but the cheese smells fresh. obvious they lied. read more

I ordered lunch and dinner at the same time because I was going to be in the office all night. The sandwich I had for lunch was great, nice thick fresh bread, good quality meats, crunchy veggies- nice. The penne vodka for dinner was not as good. The sauce had next to no flavor and was not creamy at all. They used a very thin chicken cutlet cut into squares for the "add chicken" option, which was weird. The bread was very good though. The pepperoni knots were very greasy, but very tasty. Bottom line, I'd stick to their sandwiches and stay away from the pastas, but totally worth ordering for lunch. read more

I always loved getting my pizza here but then on certain days some young kid has started making the pizza. I've had his pizza about four or five times and each time it was not made properly. [Ex. When I opened a pie the pie was actually folded over. So pretty much the pie was bigger then the box. Then the Sicilian pie was not proportional one side thicker then the other. The other pie some how was unable to be pulled apart without the other end ripping apart.] I was hoping it would get better over time but today we waited over 25 minutes. Under new ownership as of March 1st. Now the food is unimpressive, the new guy raised their prices, and you get much less for your money. Got a riceball that wasn't coated in breadcrumbs, like it's supposed to. This new guy batter-dips them, like fish filets. No good. Also got a potato & egg dinner, the price was always $10, for a large tin, this new guy charges $10 for the small tin. Been a customer there for many years, had many dinners delivered....not anymore. It's a tad pricey for the pizza (~$3/slice), and the counter/seating arrangement is a little clunky, but it's among the best pizza I've ever had and was easily worth the price. I recommend their Sicilian slices, but honestly I don't think you could go wrong here. It's expensive pizza, but the quality meets that expectation and even exceeds it. I try a restaurant at least 3 times, at different hours 7 different days, before writing a review. The constistancy was there. Each time the dishes we ordered (take-out) were the best w've ever gotten on this island. The veal parmesan is so tender it can be cut with a fork; same the Chicken Marsala with fresh baby portabella mushrooms. Both were superb. The eggplant used in the rollotini and parmesan in cut very thin and not at all bitter.They also make a couple of unique salads with fresh goat cheese that are spectacular. Another nice feature of their menu is that one can order smaller portions of most of the entres as well as deciding whether or not to add a side of pasta (as a tubby trying, not succeeding, to shed some lbs. I ordered a personal clam pizza via GrubHub, estimated time for delivery was an hour to an hour 10 mins. An hour 20 later I called Pacini's to make sure they at least had received my order, which they confirmed and said was out for delivery already. I finally receive the pizza an hour and 40 mins after I ordered.. and it is cold and soggy. Once I reheated it in the oven, it was mediocre at best. I will not be ordering from here again. read more

Went here on a tuesday. I Was the only person in the place. I ordered a cold italian hero around 2:40 Stood around waiting till 3 pm. Asked the guy where my hero was he said it would be a few minutes. 5 minutes later i asked again and told the guy i was going to be late for work. He said they didnt start making it yet and just leave then. Horrible customer service and if the food is anywhere near as bad as the workers are i am glad they didnt make my hero. read more

I placed my order at 5:11 pm nothing showed up by 6:35 pm so i called the restaurant and asked where it was they said the restaurant is temporarily closed due to a gas leak while i can understand challenges i dont understand why i waited around for food that wasnt coming when i asked if i should order from another restaurant they said yes this is ridiculous poor customer service they had someone there answering the phones they could have someone calling people that ordered to tell them to go somewhere else. read more

I first went to this place about 5-6 years ago when I was going to school at Moore Catholic so I would eat here after school a lot. I couldn't order from here since I lived on the south shore side but I recently moved within 10 minutes of Pacinis, so I order there often. One great thing about this place is that they make literally every kind of pizza imaginable. My favorites include the cheese steak pizza and the meat lovers. They have. The pizza in general tastes very good. Its not flooded with sauce which is good and it has the right amount of cheese. The only other things I had from there was the chicken rolls. They taste good but they're a bit on the small side but still thick. I give this place 5 stars for the great tasting pizza and the variety you can choose from. read more

This is a horrible place. The guy that works the front big guy with glasses just looks rude. When he rung me up he over charged me a dollar on everything and when I called him out on it he got defensive that he never saw the mistakes and prices had gone up. Disgusting, take my word for it, I lived nearby and went often when I was a child. Take a close look when you go in. The counters are literally covered in a layer of grease. They do not wash the display pans. There's salami and cheese in the utensil bucket. You can tell when you first step in because the dining area is cluttered with boxes and the windows are almost tinted yellow. They don't wear gloves or wash their hands behind the counter and I've seen them do some nasty stuff like bleaching the meat cutting board or taking out the trash before putting a slice in the oven by hand. read more

I love pizza and this is one of my favorite places to get my cravings fixed. I usually eat my crust too and their crust have a nice fragrant aroma to it that makes it a delight to devour. Their cheese is alright. I had better cheese on my pizza from other places. read more

I usually get my food delivered from here. Aside from one of the delivery guys being a little annoying the food is really good. They make the best pizza and their pasta is delicious. This place has gone through several owners in the past 4 years, this last owner who claims to be Italian and not another Albanian perpetrating the fraud started with good food. The would make these sandwiches on a round homemade focaccia with sea salt and rosemary they were awesome. Generous, quality ingredients the pizza had a good sauce and the good mozzarella. NOW within the last two years it has gone to hell!!! typical business, sacrificing the product to still make profits rather than continue with the quality they started out with generous portions became small, but to be honest it is just as well because you don't want to eat the garbage they are putting out now a days. Oh by the way the pizza !?! it became a thin salty horrible representation of what pizza should be...now I have to order from other places but such is life because Pacinis will never see my money again and hopefully none of the readers of this post. read more
