Our cushions were wrapped up nicely with plastic upon picking them up which helped a lot with transportation. Fernando also provided stellar customer service at the site and helped me load/unload my car with the cushions which was amazing! I sent her a few inspiration pictures, and when I went to pick out fabric, she already had narrowed down the samples for us, which streamlined the selection process. A few weeks later Aby let us know our bench was ready. It was exactly what I wanted, and the fabric had the perfect texture and color. I'm sure I could have bought a new bench for the price of the reupholstering, but I don't think I can find one that's custom made exactly as I want.

Pierre and his brother were there to answer my questions. His brother gave me advice on colors and types of fabric. He even gave me samples so I could see them in the lighting of my new home before making my decision. When Pierre delivered my couch and my chair. Piere helped us pick out a beautiful fabric, rightly recommended to have the inner foam wrapped in plastic and added a zipper behind each so they could be easily cleaned in case of an "oops". All of this was rather a last minute thought before my wife's big milestone birthday party. Piere and his team delivered so quickly - half of the time promised and the results are absolutely gorgeous. The stitching and attention to detail was excellent. Meyer came to our home to look at a 25-year-old quartersawn oak sideboard whose drawers had swollen…read moreover the years making them difficult to pull in and out. Meyer inspected the sideboard, tried to get the drawers out but gave up after several minutes of pulling on the drawers. He said he needed to move the sideboard to his shop (with our help!) and that there was a good chance he'd have to first break the drawers removing them prior to repairing. He said he wouldn't give us a quote unless we gave him $180 for the time he spent inspecting the sideboard (which we are sorry we did); even so, we never did get a quote for the repair. We did get a dirty 2 inch block of beeswax for the money, though, that he told us to rub on the drawers and to get back to him. While Meyer was here, he was often rude and condescending when speaking of his experience and knowledge of working with wood furniture. We found another furniture restorer who came to our house and repaired our sideboard in place after about 4 hours of planing and sanding. He was absolutely awesome. We hate to write a negative review, but this person richly deserves it and we felt we should warn others who may be victimized.

The repairman was able to come out, he spread blankets out to cover my floor and ensure the dust wouldn't get all over the place. He estimated repairs would take about two hours, but it was done in one. He even reinforced the leg to make sure it wouldn't collapse like it had before. (It had very ambitiously been stapled into place and it's a miracle it lasted as long as it did.) He was even able to put a new dust cover into place since the previous one had gotten shredded by the leg and then my cat. There was no mess left when he was done, and he walked me through every step as he was working. 10/10, definitely recommend. I also booked an heirloom coffee table to be picked up and refinished. I cannot wait to see it come back to life like my armchair did.
