I informed her that we were 1st timers and she said to take our time. When she returned, she asked if we had any questions, my wife asked about the pizzas and she gave a rundown of the most popular pizzas and a very detained description of each. We decided on the Calamari appetizer, the Nectarine Salad and Fungo Pizza to split. Calamari and Shrimp 5/5, lightly batter, extremely tasty Nectarine Salad 5/5, she had it split for us, Great flavor, dressing was perfect and the goat cheese was nice and creamy. Fungo Pizza 4/5, it was sliced in 1/4 so they were huge. We split them in two. The center was a little soft and chewy, outside crust was slightly charred and perfect. It had a minimal kick from the Italian Chilies. We drizzled the marinara from the calamari on top which cut down the heat. We had plenty of pizza to bring home. Lastly we order the Pistachio Cake on Special and the Limoncello cake to go to. Both were delicious and we couldn't decide on a favorite. It was a perfect Lunch/Dinner Date with my wife

Until now...., A month ago I had to chase the delivery person down to get my pizza. Today 8/6/26 the pizza driver showed up with a "slice" of pizza instead of the 18" pie I ordered. Common sense people. Obviously no quality assurance as drivers are picking up. This shift to what appears to be a new driver delivery service or a degraded version of the old has caused iSlice to lose a customer of many years. It had its time and now it's gone downhill.

We recently moved nearby and decided to stop in for dinner to support a small business before…read moreheading to a corporate pizza chain. Choosing New Year Pizza felt like a no-brainer. Walking in, the shop was small and cozy, but it quickly felt crowded. There were several teenagers squeezing past customers, getting into people's personal space, grabbing drinks without paying, and heading back outside. We figured this must be a common occurrence since no one seemed concerned. We ordered two drinks and a small pizza for a little over $31. The food came out hot and fresh, although the toppings slid right off the pizza because it was so hot. Clearly we didn't wait. Unfortunately, just before finishing our meal, we found a hair on the last slice. With our luck, it had to be the last piece. I brought it to the gentleman in the back and tried to keep the mood light. I jokingly said, "Yeah, looks like someone in the back might be losing their hair." Instead of apologizing, he slowly walked away and simply said, "I'll get you next time." There was no apology, no effort to get our name or number, and no attempt to make the situation right. Why would we trust there to be a "next time" when this was the perfect opportunity to show good customer service? A sincere apology should have been the bare minimum. Since none was offered, I asked if they could comp the pizza, which is a common way restaurants handle situations like this. Looking back, I wonder if my joke was taken personally because the two men working appeared to be balding. Oopsy. If so, that wasn't my intention, I was simply trying to lighten an awkward situation. He said he couldn't refund the pizza but offered to make us a new one. We waited while they remade it, and just before we left, we finally received a simple apology. Mistakes happen in every restaurant. What matters is how they're handled. Unfortunately, this experience left us disappointed, and because of how it was addressed, we won't be returning. We genuinely wanted to support a local business, but customer service matters just as much as the food. Please do better.
