After requesting about 8 different quotes from local businesses and recommended through the NextDoor app, one of our friends extremely recommended Cesar Roldan. We found that many local business are very flaky but not Pacific View. To start his price is very very fair, He is extremely professional and polite and punctual!!! We agreed on a day and time and he was even available to start the project before the agreed time. We usually never leave reviews but this was very well deserved. We were told by many electricians that we were gonna need drywall work that was gonna cost us a few $100s but Cesar was able to do the work without damaging the drywall. I just had an excellent experience having solar electric panels installed on my roof. After interviewing the big companies, a friend recommended a small one. I like to give my business to the little guys whenever I can. Pacific View Electric is excellent and I highly recommend them. They were honest, fast, communicated well, competitively-priced, easy to work with--everything you want in a solar company. One of my deciding factors was speed. The big companies are so busy they can't install your panels for six or eight weeks, assuming there are no delays, which there always are. Cesar, the owner of Pacific View, said the panels would be installed a couple of days after the city approved the permits. These days (summer 2019) the city is taking about 20 days to approve permits. My panels were installed right after that and in just one day. The workman were obviously experienced, fast, courteous, thorough and they cleaned up well. If you look up the big companies on Yelp, you will find they all have too many negative reviews. Pacific View Electric has no negative reviews. To me, the gold standard for a company's reputation is zero negative reviews, not "just a few." Read the reviews. Some of them are scary. Do your homework: interview the big guys, get their prices, learn about your choices of panels and inverters, then call Cesar. And please tell him I sent you. And do it before the tax incentive goes from 30% to 22% in 2020. A couple of weeks after the work was finished I had a plumbing problem. There was no reason to suspect it was related to the solar panel installation, but after some good detective work it was determined that the ground spike installed by the solar guys just happened to go through the main drain from the house. It was a 1,000-in-one chance this could happen, but it did. I called Cesar and he got someone on it immediately. There was no bureaucracy to deal with (as there would be in a large company) or managers who had to make me jump through hoops. Nope, I just called Cesar and the problem was handled beautifully. I can't say enough good things about Cesar and his company. read more
