When you hire an electrician, you think "he'll cruise over, I'll explain what I need, and he'll complete the job and over-charge me." Not the case with Jeff!!! My wife and I actually enjoyed having him over at the house for the 2+ hours he was there. He is not only a very good electrician, he's helpful, informative, and a great conversationalist. We needed help with a few smart switches and a crzy complex 4-switch gang-box. Jeff simplified everything in an expeditious manner. I you want good service and an enjoyable time, hire Parkllan Electric for your electrical needs. read more

After reading such great reviews on Yelp, I decided to give Parkllan Electric a try - and I'm another pleased customer. Our electrician was Patrick. He's an excellent electrician--efficient, knowledgeable, and a great problem solver. During our kitchen remodel and laundry-to-butler's pantry conversion, there was a lot of electrical work involved, and Patrick worked tirelessly to get us ready for the other subs. He was patient with our design needs and very mindful of keeping costs down. We truly enjoyed having him in our home and working with him, and we will definitely reach out to Parkllan Electric and request Patrick again for future electrical needs. Highly recommend! read more

Jeff was great! He was super responsive and got me on his schedule quick. He did great work installing some wall sconces and swapping out some light switches. Also, when I was having some issues with my new home's tripped circuit breaker. I reached out to several other electricians and many wanted to charge me $$$ just to come out, but Jeff called me back and walked me through it over the phone and didn't charge me for it--which demonstrated to me his integrity and honesty. Really classy guy! Highly recommend him and plan to use him again! read more

There is nothing exciting, sexy, or rewarding about having an electrical panel refurbished. And I can think of a hundred more enjoyable ways of spending some money. But, when our rental property needed a little electrical TLC, investing in someone who knows their stuff just made sense. Our panel was old, tired and needed some professional attention. I first contacted Jeff to see what it might cost to replace the panel with a newer one. He smartly suggested a basic refurbishment on the panel instead. He cleaned up some messiness left by a prior electrician and replaced a few aged circuit breakers. I can tell Jeff takes pride in his work and knows what needs to be done without any needless up-selling. If you want quality work from an electrical contractor with integrity, get in touch with Jeff. He'll be my go-to guy moving forward. read more

This review is for past project 4 years ago and recently this week for an assessment. First, Jeff, whom we worked with both times, is friendly and very knowledgeable. He explains what the issue is and what the different options are to fix or correct the problem. The first project we had was our double oven would not work in the cleaning mode. Called Jeff and he pulled out the oven and we saw near the outlet flash marks indicating a short. Thankfully no fire broke out. He then checked the circuit breaker and immediately noted that the breaker was undersized for the power requirements of the double oven. I think we had a 40 amp breaker and it needed to be 50 amp. Worse is the wiring gauge was insufficient and he had to run heavier gauge wiring. Not easy, but it got done. While working in the CB panel Jeff noticed flash marks in the panel. Eventually he ended up switching out several other breakers. I really like when someone sees an issue beyond what they initially came out for and suggests options. Electric is nothing to mess with and if safety is compromised am all for fixing. The oven and everything else is working great. Thanks Jeff. Recently we needed an electrician to come out and checkout our panel because during extreme hot days our voltage would drop below 105 volts. Lights would dim, etc. Jeff inspected the panel and said it all looked very good and to contact SDGE. Which we did and SDGE said to keep monitoring as they recently swapped in new transformers in our area. Now, Jeff is not the least expensive electrician, but not the most expensive either. However, quality, timeliness, efficiency and honesty are all attributes that matter and is never free. I highly recommend Jeff for any electrical work that needs to be done. He's our go to electrician! read more

We use Jeff at Parkllan Electric to upgrade our electrical panel and add a sub panel for our hot tub install. Jeff was awesome. He was prompt, courteous, fair and honest. He explained the process very well and was happy to answer all our questions. He did all the work in a timely manner, coordinated all the permits, and finished the job with great professionalism. I have already recommend him to others and will definitely use him for all my electrical projects. read more

I had a very good experience using Jeff Parkllan to install an electric vehicle charger in my garage. Jeff did a nice clean installation of my car charger, and was a pro at running the conduit to get all the bends "just right". Jeff also checked the wiring of my sub-panel, and discovered a couple of preexisting issues which he proceeded to correct for me. If I had gone with someone else, I might still have these existing wiring issues in my sub-panel. I thought Jeff's costs were reasonable, and worth the quality of service that he provided. I would highly recommend Parkllan Electric to anyone looking to do electrical work around their home. - Rick H. read more

Best in the business. I do not call anybody else for any electrician needs. Honest and extremely thorough.

Jeff was fantastic. He was polite, knowledgeable, extremely efficient, and the work looked great. Based on other electricians and quotes, the price was extremely fair and he didn't waste any time getting two patio ceiling fans and new switches installed. I don't typically write reviews, but it was great to experience somebody in home improvement that was honest, and so reasonably priced, with excellent work quality. Already referred him to my in-laws! read more

It was great to interact and do business with Jeff. He's very communicative and explanatory about what he is going to do before doing it. Many other electricians we had quote just wanted to cut open walls and go from there. Not Jeff. He investigates and comes up with a plan prior to opening up walls. He was minimally invasive to cause the least amount of drywall damage. His is a 30 year experience guy and his pricing fairly reflects that. We wanted to have someone do quality work the first time; we did not want to pay a cheap price and get half-hearted work. Put it strongly in the category of "you get what you pay for." Will definitely be hiring Jeff for future projects! read more

We just had our ceiling fan installed this morning and Jeff was FANTASTIC! I had called him a few weeks ago to check pricing & availability. Jeff was very professional on the phone and explained his entire process to me. Last Thursday I reached back out to Jeff letting him know I was ready to install and wanted to move forward with her services. He actually stopped by my place on his way home that evening to check things out (install was needed on a high 16' ceiling which is also vaulted). He scheduled me for the following Friday. Jeff arrived on time and finished the job within the time he indicated it would take (less than 2 hours). He explained what he was doing throughout the process, providing advance warning of any potential issues that could have occurred, but all was handled with care and ease. I highly recommend Jeff for ceiling fan installation and all other services he provides. read more

I used Jeff from Parkllan Electric to upgrade the wiring in my kitchen to accommodate my new induction range. Jeff was responsive and helpful in advance of the visit. Using photos sent thru texts, he was able to determine the scope of the work, provide me with options, and clarify my needs. The morning of the work, he arrived promptly, even sending texts confirming his anticipated arrival. He was MOST pleasent and efficient in completing the upgrade. He went over and above to help ensure my new range was working correctly, testing the ampage being used, and showing me the tools he used to measure the usage. He explained the wiring in my electric box as well as the plug in my kitchen, making sure I felt comfortable that the work was done well and safely. I would highly recommend Jeff for any project. read more

Jeff installed a NEMA 14-50 30A 250V outlet in my garage for EV charging, replaced some old GFCI outlets outside and some other standard outlets in the house. I found him to be one of the best contractors I've ever worked with. He took the time to discuss my needs over the phone, offered me multiple options, and helped me understand what the best and most cost-effective solution for my project was. He was able to provide me an estimate over the phone and his pricing was competitive. He was punctual and professional while conducting his work. Jeff did a number of things for us. We just moved in and we had a number of needs. Jeff came by personally and looked at our needs, gave us a price (which was very reasonable!
