Tire Depot would not remove a nail on my tire. They told me I needed to replace the tire (pair of 2). They quoted me $550 for each tire. One of the worker told me about Pacific Tire so I drove there. Pacific Tire is simply a small business with honest workers ready to help you with your tires. As soon as I went there they greeted me and inspected the tire with the nail. I got there about 9AM so there was no waiting. They said they could fix it. They proceeded to remove the nail and tested for air leak. It just took 1-2 minutes and no air leak. No need to patch the tire and no fee. Yay! I highly recommend them for any tire repairs or new tires. The big tires shop would not remove nails if tire thread are low. The owner is super cool. I was having problems with my Honda civic shaking after 75 mph, I had already spent money trying to solve the problem with mechanics, and he checked all my tires even went as far as checking my rims to see if they are warped. At the end it was my tires giving me to problem. He found the problem. I ended up buying all 4 new tires from him. Also Sergio is a very cool guy, very helpful and friendly. Amazing place to come!!! I came here after an emergency on the freeway, my tire had stripped but not popped it was the craziest thing! Came here because it was the closest to me. They charged me $120 to change my tire. They were quick and efficient. I was very shaken up and alone, at any big name chain I know I would have gotten ripped off! They did such an amazing job a month later after this incident when i noticed a nail in my tire causing it to leek I went to a Pep Boys to get the nail removed quoted that they couldn't because i would have to get new tires and wanted to charge me $220 for one and were pressuring me to get the rest replaced as well. Came right back here to give them my business! I came back to replace the remaining tires, not only did the mechanic charge me a great price he asked me how much I was charged last time so he could either match it or see what he could do. Ended up matching and replacing all 3 tires for $320 not bad at all! Again they were quick and efficient. As a girl coming to dealerships or mechanics we often feel taken advantage of because we might not know much about cars but not here! So naturally many shops take advantage of my ignorance of those topics. Not this place! I stumbled on this place years ago when I was much much younger and I was trying to replace a tire that went flat. They took my tire off analyzed it, and said it was it was as simple as a "patch" and my tire would be just fine. IMAGINE the look of shock on my face, because I had JUST left another shop because they said my ONLY option was to replace the tire, but their tire was too expensive for me at the time. I'll preface this by saying I only chose to go here because it was an urgent time. If you're looking for a tire shop that will torque your tire after bolting up, check the air pressure in all your tires, reset your TPMS light, remember to reuse your specific metal valve caps, or just value your business, stay clear from this place. I came in for a flat repair and I'd have to say, if Bruce Halle saw the circus this shop puts on, he'd wake up from his grave. As a former employee of Discount tire with experience and expertise, I understand why I was the only person there on a Saturday. Safety is #1 and if any tire shop doesn't value torque spec with a customers life, I think they should consider a different profession. The person who helped me at this place was AWESOME, my tire was going flat I don't even know how I got lucky and made it there, they close at 6, and when I got there it was past 6 and they were closing the gates, so I asked if they can help me out please, and sure enough when he saw my tire he said okay, but I could see he was tired and not very happy to reopen the place, but he did, and he fixed the tire and I gave him $20 instead of the $10 which is the normal price, and now they have me as a customer for life, Thanks guys. read more

Note: this review is for the shop at Arrow Route, Fontana. Not the one with the same name at Arrow Blvd., Ontario. Mistake on the address. Their services are fast. 1 star for that. I brought my own new tires in for replacement. Of all 4 mounted, 3 were scratched and swirl marks around the lip. (see photo for details) Only 1 is perfect, no damage. these are my factory rims with factory tires, so this is 1st time tire replacement, I regret i didn't clean the rims before bring in, so didn't catch the damages at the spot. So if you have new chrome or expensive rims, think twice before bringing in. 3 guys were doing the job, so i guess 1 of them really know what he was doing. (for the one unscratched) Also check with them for the price including the disposal of old tires before going in if you want to. They charged me $10 extra for disposal of old tires but it was not mentioned when we talked over the phone. read more

Went to American tire To have them fix a flat tire. They had found a nail in my rear passenger tire and told me that it was Unrepairable and that I would have to buy a new tire for $160. Before I had them put it on I took my car to Pacific tire service and had their mechanics check it out. First off, the customer service was amazing I had more than one person ask if I was doing OK and if I needed help. I was also very impressed on how quickly the guys in the shop worked. After inspecting my tire that was said to be unrepairable, the mechanics told me that there was nothing wrong with my tire and all they had to do was pull the nail out. No air was leaking and the tire was all good. Honesty goes a long way to Me and Pacific tire service is nothing short of honest and integral. Highly recommend. read more
