When we brought the discrepancy to management's attention and asked them to reconcile the difference, we were told the lower price was "incorrect" and that the higher price was the correct price. No adjustment or refund was offered. In the end, we paid about $80 more for the same item purchased just a day later. Customers deserve transparent and consistent pricing, especially over a 24-hour period. Instead of addressing the issue, management doubled down. Based on this experience, I'd recommend getting quotes in writing and checking every invoice if you can't avoid them. The inconsistent treatment left me questioning whether all customers are being treated fairly.

Normally I'd go hunting myself but decided to wait. When he finished I showed him the volume pedal he immediately took interest & instead of directing to what looks like hundred of draws holding screws & gromets he took the pedal & I followed. He then fit the pedal with the right gromets within 5-10 mins which would have taken me a hour & I'd probably have wrong fit. Good service is hard to find these days but great service is rarely seen! We had 2 questions , how much was it and did it come in other finishes. The "faucet guy" brought us over to the customer service counter and stated to look up the item we were interested in buying. He had just started his query when another employee walked up and "faucet guy" stopped working on our question and got into a long discussion about what he wanted. The 2nd guy left and the "faucet guy went back to his computer to answer our question. Two minutes later another employee asked him for help on her computer. "Faucet guy" stopped helping us and went over to help his coworker. After several minutes he returned to us but was again interrupted by his coworker for hep with another customer. Once again he stopped helping us and went to her assistance. Now 15 minutes had passed and we still had no answer to our questions. We finally decided to heck with it and left. "Faucet guy" was still busy helping his associate with her customer. We went home found what we wanted on line at Amazon, got it cheaper and had it show up in 24 hours. If Jackson wants to keep in business they need to teach staff to handle one customer at a time. We will never go back.

They helped me keep track of everything I needed: roof felt, staples, shingles, nails, flashing, etc. That project went very smoothly, and the materials were priced fairly. More recently, I have had a roofing repair project, caused by fallen tree damage. Mark was very courteous, thoughtful, and knowledgeable. Because it was a patch repair rather than a complete replacement, I had to match the color of the original roll roofing material. The location in San Rafael was out of stock, and Mark was able to find a small stock of the desired product in the ABC location in Sacramento, where I was able to get it the next day. Thanks.

A special thanks to Mark who helped with the ordering and Josh, Antonio and the other big guy who delivered the products and were super helpful. What I liked is: *they carry Malarkey roofing products, which I found through my research uses recycled tires and reduces water consumption in the production of their roofing shingles for the same price as GAF shingles. Everyone who cares about using products from more sustainable companies should be using Malarkety shingles and ABC has them unlike Home Depot or other stores. *They helped me calculate what I needed for my roof and were nice and patient. *Everyone was friendly during the ordering process, returning some plywood I didn't need because I needed a different thickness for one part of my roof to the delivery. Very laid-back and easy going. *Delivery - I usually am the type to go pick stuff up. If you are doing your roof on your own and getting materials from ABC - don't!!! When they deliver it, they don't just deliver it to your address, they use a conveyor belt to put it on your roof - best $100 I spent on the project as getting everything up a ladder would have been tortueous. I feel like ABC is a part of our community in the way they worked with me.

Then I told her I was aiming for 1pm and I never got a response back. Even if I did arrive early, I wouldn't have been so upset had she been kind and asked me to wait. Plus there was no other customer in the store. She wasn't kind, she was rude. Her lunch arrived as I was leaving. She was clearly unprepared. I don't doubt her ability but her demeanor is not the best presentation for your business.

We ordered doors for a project and only realized that we mixed up the handing after they'd been delivered (pay special attention to their handing chart -- it's different from what I/my team is accustomed to). This was a mortifying mistake and could have really turned out badly. Douglas talked me through everything on the phone that afternoon, accepted the doors back the following day, and had them rehung and redelivered the day after that. He didn't even charge us even though this was obviously my mistake. The quality of work is high and they can customize most doors with surprisingly quick turnaround, but the service is on another level. I'll be ordering again in a few weeks.

He consulted a colleague for a second opinion, and then they he called over Max, who happened to be on his lunch break. I told Max he didn't need to interrupt his break, but he insisted he was happy to help. He wasn't convinced the first option would work, so he kept testing different ideas and talking through possibilities. When Feliciano came by, the two of them compared notes and agreed on the right connector. They were absolutely right. We installed it when I got home, and it works perfectly--no more leaks.
