I live in Cabazon and this pine tree on SCE right-of-way has split in half and died. I had filed a complaint with SCE about this and the fact that it was then dry timber and susceptible to fire. When your (PTS) employee (Melissa, I believe her name was) stated that once it splits and hits the ground that it's no longer your problem. However, it's on SCE's right -of-way (no action was taken and it still sits there as a fire hazard). Now fast forward 5 months, the remainder of the tree has now fallen over being supported by one of it's dry branches and has destroyed my chainlink fence in two sections and it's root ball is lifting my retaining wall along with destroying another section of fencing.
