What painting companies get five stars???? I never thought I would find a company that would exceed expectations but Pacific Sky Remodeling painted the outside of my house- and their family-owned business deserved every star and I would give six if I could! They really know what they are doing, and they were able to fix several issues on our house that we had priced out with other companies. Marco gave us such a good deal and such a fair price. His workers work very hard and left a place clean afterwards. They fixed our rotting wood spots on our chimney and they patched several holes in the siding. Lots of painters would have just covered it up with fresh coat of paint and we would've been back to needing a new paint in a couple of years, but this company really takes pride and its work lasting and you can tell because they go the extra mile to your home as their own. It's taken me over a year to post this review because life has been busy but they impressed me so much that a year later. If you're looking for painters we'd highly recommend Pacific Sky Remodeling. We had them paint the exterior of our home a couple years ago and just recently had them paint our kitchen cabinets. The original cabinets had yellowed over the years so we decided to change the color. They did an excellent job! They were very conscientious about ensuring we'd get a smooth finish. They sprayed multiple coats of finish and clear coat and we couldn't be happier. It's almost like the finish on a car! Their prep and clean up was super professional. Marco and his team are absolutely incredible. They recently completed painting the exterior of our house, and did an outstanding job. He and his partner were very patient with us as we struggled to choose the right colors. I greatly appreciated their friendly attitudes, and tremendous attention to detail. This is definitely a family business, as I met both of Marco's sons who came to help on various days (also like their father - two outstanding young men). In the past we have struggled with communication and commitment from other contractors, but this process was beyond easy. They are lightening fast at painting, and have excellent craftsmanship. The final touch ups, greatly appreciated. We also had them reseal our driveway and stone siding, looks brand new. Marco and his team are also very considerate- always kept their work areas clean and tidy. I would HIGHLY recommend Pacific Sky Remodeling. Marco Sr. and Marco Jr. were both a pleasure to work with. I am more than pleased and satisfied with the finished project and the whole experience from beginning to end. Their work-ethic, communication, and skill all score top ratings. Beyond that, what I appreciated most, that is not-much-mentioned when talking about professional contractors, was their kindness. These were great guys with great heart, who cared about making us happy, and doing their job well. They recently completed painting the exterior of our 2 1/2 story house, as well as refinish our very large deck, and we plan to have them back soon to paint the interior as well. A few sides of our house, that take a beating from the weather, were in awful condition, and peeling terribly. They scraped and sanded the whole house meticulously, but took extra care with the damaged areas, and did a far better job than any painter we've used in the past. They used Peel Bond Primer to fill-in and smooth out any patchy areas on our T1-11 siding. They then painted and back-rolled (equivalent to two coats) with top-of-the-line Sherwin Williams Duration paint, until the house looked like new. I chose to re-use the same colors I had, which were Benjamin Moore brand, but trusted Marco, that S.W. was a great product, so I let them "match" my colors, which turned out identical. I have a couple extra accent colors for the trim, and Marco had no attitude about the extra effort or fine-handed detailing it would take to paint the trim as I requested. Other painters showed some negativity about it. Not Marco. He was meticulous and detailed-oriented, and went above and beyond on several tasks to make sure the job was done the way he'd like it done on his own home, even making some personal suggestions, which turned out to be great ideas. You could see how hard Marco and his team worked at all times. They continually checked-in with us each day, to make sure we were pleased with the progress, and if we had any requests, they were more than accommodating. They were fastidious as well, and made sure all areas they came in contact with were protected and respected, and they cleaned up after themselves at the end of each work day. I did a lot of research, and contacted Pacific Sky for a quote due to their highly positive reviews on Yelp. I also scheduled two other painters to come out to give me competitive bids. Marco Sr. and Marco Jr. just happened to be the first ones to come, and as soon as they left, my husband and I both felt we could trust them, and we both already knew we wanted them to do the job. I still had the two other companies come to the house, but it only made us more resolute in our desire to hire Pacific Sky. The other guys seemed nice enough. They looked over the project, told us, "No problem.", and said they'd send us a quote, and sure, they may have done a very nice job too, OR NOT, I had no way of knowing because they didn't sell themselves, or convey to us, their knowledge, experience or abilities. Marco Sr. and Jr. took their time to listen to our requests and go over all the details, and they then explained exactly what they do, how they do it, and why it'll give you the best results - so we felt we could put our trust in them, and we were right. And personally, the fact that the owners of the company are not only the ones to come out to quote you, but the ones who will actually be on the job working, and not just "supervising", means a lot to me. I've had owners (of larger companies) come out to give me bids on projects in the past, and I hired them because they personally impressed me, but then it turned out that they were not the ones to do the actual work. They sent a crew unsupervised, and the work was certainly not done to the meticulous level they promised. Not the case with Pacific Sky. With them, you know who you are dealing with from beginning to end, and what they promise, is what you get. Pacific Sky gave us what we felt was a very fair and competitive quote. They were not the cheapest, but I truly believe, (after going through the process), that they spent more time (doing it better) than most companies would have - so all I can say, is you get what you pay for. If you want to go into a project like this, knowing you won't have to worry about the process, and assured you'll be pleased with the final result, then you can trust your decision to hire Pacific Sky Painting. I am an interior designer, and have dealt with contractors (in all fields) for over 30 years ... and I have experienced both good and bad.  I'm picky.  I know what I want, and I care about quality - so I more than appreciate a craftsman with the same values, who respects my opinions, and has patience for the details - and I can honestly tell you, Pacific Sky is one of the best experiences I've had, and they will definitely be my go-to guys in the future! I've had many jobs done by Marco and the guys at the property I manage. They've always been competitive on prices and nobody can beat the quality of work they do. I've always enjoyed my interactions with them during our projects.
