Budget Granite Countertops & Cabinets

During our full home remodel, they…read morecreated our custom vanities, kitchen countertops and island, laundry room cabinetry, stained our staircase, and built a custom bookcase. Norman, Sharon, Wen, and Ian are exceptional--not just in their craftsmanship, but as people. They are some of the kindest and most genuine individuals we've had the pleasure of working with. They care deeply about what they do, and it shows in both the quality of their work and their reliability and responsiveness. The way they treat their clients is truly next level. They are consistently on time, dependable, and deliver beautiful results. Norman has an incredible eye for selections, and I really enjoyed learning from him about cabinetry craftsmanship. Since this was our first home remodel, we leaned on his advice often--and many of his suggestions ended up shaping our home in the best way. Throughout the entire process, they went above and beyond. Anytime we had a vision, we could call Norman and the team, and they would find a way to bring it to life. Norman would come out, take measurements, and make it happen. When I wanted a custom bookcase, they absolutely delivered. That level of dedication and follow-through is rare. Wen also played a huge role throughout our remodel. From answering every question to supporting us through the final stages, he was incredibly kind, patient, and present the entire time. The customer service we experienced was outstanding, and the quality of the materials, custom cabinetry, and installation exceeded our expectations. You won't regret working with this team. It's rare to find people who care this much about their craft and their clients. We're incredibly grateful to them for showing us what true excellence looks like.

My wife and I tried 5 different countertop shops until we found these guys. We are glad that we…read morefound this gem of a shop and had a great experience. Ian and Sonny were on it! We have been putting off writing a review because we wanted to share pictures after completing our backsplash. Neither of us write reviews very often, but this job was such a huge success so we needed to give them props. We are just going to list off what we liked... 1. Our kitchen is larger than a standard kitchen where all the other shops quoted needing 2 slabs to get the job done. Budget was the only shop that recommended using a Jumbo slab for our kitchen which saved us $$. 2. All we had to do is text Ian a picture of our kitchen layout to get a quote. We had a quote that same day. 3. Phone conversations were great! We had some questions about the edges and the free kitchen sink size (30" vs 32") they were including and they were responsive. 4. Easy process to get the ball rolling. All we had to do to get job going was put down 50% of the cost to have measurements done the following week, then they were out installing the countertops 2 weeks after that. 5. They showed up to install when they said they would. We were told installers would show up between 8-9am and they arrived at 8:15am and were done with our install about 4 hours later. 6. Cleanliness was exceptional - they even put cloth down to protect our flooring. 7. Our experience was so great and have been telling our friends about them if they ever need new countertops. 8. We are going to copy and paste this review into Google as well to get the word out. You don't find many businesses that are this good very often these days, especially when it comes to construction projects:) Alex & Christina S.

Justin worked with us to confirm the height of our bed and headboard, the dimensions for our nightstands, and the dimensions and specific design of our dresser. We're very happy with the result. Prices are fair for the quality of the work. We have been very happy with the craftsmanship. The custom nature of these orders means there is a wait time, but we were in no rush and were very happy with the products we got. I will highlight that we specifically asked about low VOC finishes and were assured that's what they use. When our bed arrived, it had no smell. Our dresser does have a very strong smell and it does transfer onto clothes still, even though we aired out of room for a day after it arrived, wiped it down, and it's been 4 weeks now. White glove delivery was also included and both times (it was two separate orders, months apart) the delivery people were professional and were careful about placing items where we wanted, and not damaging anything while entering our home / navigating stairs and tight corners.

I hired Makers Woodworks, based on a recommendation. Garrett & Justin worked closely with me on the chair design, wood selection, and other project details. They regularly updated me as the work progressed. The chair turned out beautifully. It not only looks great, but just as importantly, it feels great to sit in. The craftsmanship is outstanding, and their attention to detail is obvious. The project was completed on time, and for a very fair price. I couldn't be happier with the finished product, and with my overall experience. I would hire Makers Woodworks again for other projects, and recommend them to anyone looking for high quality, custom wood furniture from experienced craftsman who stand by their work.

I write this review of Kitchen Concepts and owner/operator Dave Warren. I want to make mention I…read morewas not asked or encouraged to write this review. I am a School Counselor at the highest poverty, elementary school in Gresham. We are a very busy, high-needs school. I love my job but have been struggling organizationally with it as I have been working in a small room with piles of office supplies, therapeutic tools, paperwork, clothes, shoes and games stacked high. It was a chaotic environment where I could never find anything when I needed it, and kids were always tripping over things. It was stressful and I often found myself dreaming about "if only I had shelves....." Then Kitchen Concepts came into my world. Dave heard my plea of desperation. He came out to my place of work and saw the need. He measured and designed a beautiful plan that included many shelves, drawers, two desks and all the storage I need to succeed. And the best news? He told me he wanted to donate all the materials and the labor. This undoubtedly would have costs thousands of dollars but he decided to donate everything as he saw the real need of a local school. Dave told me that due to ongoing projects, he and his right-hand man John may not be able to complete all the finishes, minor details and fine-tuning of this project due to time constrictions. I totally understood. John and Dave (two of the kindest and most genuine guys you will ever meet) came down to my school to install the cabinets and literally didn't take a single break. They worked like crazy for HOURS and did every every sort of finish, minor detail, fine-tuning and touch-up possible. The outcome was (and is) absolutely stunning. Immediately the quality of my work with kiddos has improved due to the beautiful welcoming space, the ability to find things when I need them and a calming feeling for students as opposed to a chaotic one. I highly suggest this wonderful family-owned business to anyone and everyone out there. They care about our community, give to our kids, work hard, are generous, kind and create a beautiful product! Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Kitchen Concepts for being the incredible business that you are. You make a difference. To anyone looking for a quality product, please chose Kitchen Concepts.
