Great service and reliable. Also quick, efficient and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

Toilet was clogged with a slow flush and the plunger didn't fix it. Matt confirmed over the phone that he would have to snake it, which would cost $90. He asked me to text him because he was out of town and wouldn't be available until tomorrow. Once I sent him a text, he didn't respond the rest of the day. I called him the next day, and he said he would call me back in 15 min. 2 hours later...no call back. I ended up going to Home Depot to buy a a Ridgid k6 hybrid toilet snake auger for $67, watching two YouTube videos on how to use the auger, and fixed the problem myself in 10 min. read more

I'm sad because the first time we hired Matt, he did an awesome job. Tried to call him again and he kept saying he would get back to us, but never did. (Definitely kept calling, but received same response.) Glad he is getting work, just disappointed he couldn't help us again. :( read more

Overdue review - wanted to leave a note for Matt from Pacific Pipes. I needed my shower crevices caulked, shower drain cleaned, and wanted someone professional to assure I had no leaks after a shoddy handyman installed my new shower. After messaging several handymen and competitive vendors in the Sacramento area, only Matt was available and could complete everything I asked for within the context of quarantine. Matt was very professional with communication, and wore shoe booties, gloves, masks, etc while taking care of my bathroom. These were all requirements for me, since I was very nervous about letting a stranger in my home during COVID-19. Matt brought different shades of white and alabaster to match my shower caulking, and was transparent with progress and any potential issues. He quickly finished everything and charged $150 after finishing in less than 45 min. Extremely reasonably priced and professional! I'll definitely contact Matt for home needs in the future. read more

I've had a wonderful experience with Matt & Pacific Pipes. I needed to have a number of relatively small plumbing jobs done in the kitchen. It involved replacing the faucet and garbage disposal and installing a water filtration system and faucet for that system. I also had a clogged sink. Matt's communications were very quick and he provided a reasonable quote. There are some other highly rated plumbers here on Yelp that charge per piece rather than per hour, which resulted in very high quotes - Matt's made a lot more sense and I decided to go with him. He showed up on time and made quick work - he clearly knows what he's doing and gets on very efficiently. The job was done on time and on budget. But more than anything he is a wonderful friendly person and I would be more than happy to hire him again for any future plumbing needs. He is definitely after a long term customer rather than making a quick buck, which is very refreshing and also quite rare nowadays. So glad to have found him, and I'd highly recommend him to you too. read more

Pacific Pipes - New faucets - Plumbing Near Me - Sacramento, California

I had a garbage disposal issue that I had contacted my home warranty people to fix, but the plumber they sent did not resolve the issue and, in fact, made part of it worse. I contacted Matt at Pacific Pipes and he gave me a very reasonable quote to replace my garbage disposal. He did a great job and even fixed the mess the other plumber left. Matt is very friendly, knowledgeable and I would recommend him to my friends. read more

Update: After writing this review, Matt texted back that he wrote the appointment down on the wrong day. I had already called someone else to fix the issue so cannot comment on his work. Initial Review: Set up an appointment to have our leaking toilet repaired. Matt never showed to the appointment and never responded to my texts or calls. Guess he had bigger fish to fry. read more

Matt was great. I told him that my kitchen faucet was losing pressure. He came by a couple days later, and checked the water pressure, and came to the conclusion that it was the faucet itself that was the issue. He did not charge for this. He offered to install the new sink that we were soon to purchase. We setup an appt for the next week when our new kitchen faucet was set to arrive. He came by and completed it in a timely manner and at a reasonable price. Matt also mentioned that he had the same kitchen faucet in his home and it was plumber approved! Lol Thank you Matt for doing such a great job! read more

Matt is amazing. Great work, super friendly and someone I totally trust. I am new to the area and relied on Yelp to find a Plumber after another plumbing company, my home warranty sent, failed me. I found Pacific Pipes and am thrilled I did because he fixed the issue and I will not use any other company. Highly suggest Matt and his company for any of your plumbing needs. read more

Matt is a super star!! It's difficult to find honest and reliable service professionals. I called Matt, and not only did he help me resolve the issue over the phone, he did so willingly. Matt, you're the best!! Thanks for the help!! read more

Matt is reliable, prompt, an excellent communicator and tidy, in addition to being a knowledgeable and skilled plumber. Our shut-off valves for the washing machine suddenly started spraying water all over the upstairs laundry room, resulting in the water to the whole house having to be turned off until this was remedied. Also, while he was here, we asked if he could do something about the freestanding bathtub that had not been well attached to the floor. He did both jobs at a reasonable price and we feel very lucky to have found him (a referral from our realtor friend). We will absolutely call Matt again in the future. read more

Called 3 companies to replace a thermocouple, none of them wanted to do the repair but wanted 3.5k for a water heater replacement at which point I started telling my wife the health benefits of ice showers. Matt with Pacific Pipes answered the call, made it early next day, did the repair at a very reasonable price and didn't try to sell me on a new water heater. I will be calling them again for other projects. read more

After moving into a new home with Kitec plumbing installed throughout the house, I received several different quotes for comparison. Matt was very reasonable and what was best was that everything was included in the price. He was honest, fair, up-front, and never added on extras throughout the job as many contractors do. He also explained things well and answered my questions in a straight-forward/respectful way. I appreciated that he could start the job before I moved in and made things extremely easy and comfortable even after I had moved in and they were finishing up the job. I thought that might be an issue, considering they were re-piping the entire home, but it was not. They kept everything clean, respected COVID safety requirements, and made sure to put everything in place and cleaned up completely once the job was done. I appreciate his professionalism and honesty throughout the entire project. He even recommended a roofer to me who worked out wonderfully. He was honest, knowledgeable and saved me a lot of money after receiving quotes from other roofers. Without a doubt, I trust Matt completely and will call him again for any future work needed for my home. read more

Way overdue review for Matt and Pacific Pipes: My home has been "blessed" with builder defects/flaws, teen males who can overwork a low-flow toilet and all of the other fun "joys" of being a large family. After having TWO slab leaks back in 2007-2010 and talking to 12 different plumbers, we eventually met Matt from a contractor. Pacific Pipes has since helped us replace all three toilets, all 7 faucets throughout our home, all 3 showerheads, new shower door installations, complete bathroom remodel with new vanity, dishwasher install, unclogged: toilets, sink drains, shower drains, air gaps, garbage disposal and... each time at a VERY fair and competitive price, with a faster turn time than most, a quick instructional tutorial for what NOT to do (if that was the cause of the leak or clog), and a professional attitude at all times. The quality is great as they've never had to come back out to repair anything they've installed (which is better than original builder of my home). Bonus: Matt and his team are both kid-friendly and dog/animal friendly. Thank you, Matt and Pacific Pipes, for ALL of your help over the past 10+ years!!! I will continue to refer my friends and family to you with the highest recommendations. read more

Quick, friendly, good work. Goes the extra mile to take care of everything. Wouldn't use anyone else.

Amazing!!!! They redid the plumbing under my sink for a very reasonable price. They have been out to my house twice now to check my leaking sink and dishwasher at no charge! I can't say enough good things about them! Give them a call!!!! read more

If there were a way to give 10 stars, I would! I'll use him for any project going forward. I bid out a moderately small repipe project to several well-reviewed plumbers. I had copper horizontal supply lines under the house but the 3 vertical lines going up into the walls - supplying the toilet, the sink, and the shower - were galvanized with NO dielectric union. So, I decided to have them replaced with copper before I installed my new vanity. I also wanted to maintain the vintage 1930's shower and tub fixtures on the shower. First - I had several plumbers tell me they wouldn't even take the job unless I replaced with modern fixtures. I explained that I wasn't opposed to modern fixtures if the vintage valves/cartridges/stems couldn't be replaced, but that I wanted to keep the vintage trim if possible. Second - I had a few plumbers tell me it was a 4-hour job and then bid me $2,500 - $3,500. I am not a plumbing contractor but those were the outliers from the majority of the bids, which were under $1,500. But why did we choose Matt? First, we liked him the best. Matt didn't blink an eye when I asked about refurbishing the existing fixtures. He said he had done several in the area. Second, his quote wasn't fair. It wasn't the cheapest but it was within the reasonable range. He was straightforward, didn't speak down to me (many contractors do), and a timely communicator. Now, why the 10 stars, you ask? Because first, Matt did quality work. Then, he pulled out every trick in the book to work on my vintage fixtures. He spent hours and hours, took parts home to soak them in special solution, used special tools, and did not once seem frustrated. He told me that sometimes valves are easy, and sometimes they're not, and that's just how it goes. Even though he spent more time on it (and he could have come to me and told me I needed to go with the new fixture), he stuck to his bid. I did give him some extra $ to make up for all the work he did, but he didn't ask me for it. He also asked me if I wanted to save the old lath strips they were cutting out. My answer was resoundingly YES! For those of you who have had to patch lath-and-plaster walls, having the old lath strips is a lifesaver! The courtesy of asking this was very much appreciated. His assistant (?) was great and they cleaned up very well after themselves. read more

We will only use Matt of Pacific Pipes Plumbing. He has done numerous jobs at two of our own houses, and my daughters have used him for jobs repeatedly as well. He does excellent work. Matt did an amazing job repairing our kitchen drain and even came in under estimate-when's the last time that happened? He was thorough, professional, and prompt. read more

Synopsis: Matt is great! Save yourself time & use him. Details: I was looking for a simple kitchen faucet swap, the old one was cracked & I had already bought a new one. I thought it wouldn't be hard to quote over the phone, but all the companies I reached wanted to send a technician to the house first (free of charge) for a quote. Being on a time crunch, I reluctantly agreed. It seems they prey on that & hope you will just agree to the repair right there on the spot. Matt answered the phone himself & offered a quote based off the information I provided. He also had better prices & good availability, so I booked him. He was prompt to the appointment & very friendly. Faucet is in & looks great, I kept his card & plan to use him for any future plumbing needs. read more

I had several bids and Matt's was the most competitive (the dollar range of the bids was pretty crazy). I needed a water heater replacement but the job was a bit harder as it was a hydronic water heater with forced air. I cannot emphasize enough how happy I am with the communication leading up to the work performed as well as the end product. Matt is polite, patient, responsive, honest, knowledgeable (skilled) and just super easy to work with. He does his own work and takes responsibility for his work. Haven't met a plumber like Matt before and will absolutely be using him for all future work. read more

Matt from pacific pipes is a total pro. Several other companies told me that I needed to replace my heater water as the manufacturer is out of business, but Matt got the right part and fixed it. Saved me alot of money. Very professional, on time, and fair. Highly reccomend. read more

Love the guy! Matt, the owner, is super friendly. He has years of experience in both residential and industrial plumbing, and his explanations are easy to understand. This week he took care of seals and slip nuts at the kitchen sink and a faucet leak from the upstairs bathroom that created a stain below in the garage ceiling. All that for 80 bucks. I believe it when he says, "I just love plumbing!" read more

I really appreciate that they came out quickly after my request was put in to check out a possible issue we were having. Very accommodating and was able to put our worries at ease. Will use them again! read more

Matt is Fantastic! We had a small crack in our shower pan and thought we were in a for an expensive shower remodel. Matt came in and offered us three options of varying expense! My experience with contractors has been that they're always looking for the biggest payoff no matter what common sense dictates, but Matt is looking out for his customers' best interest. Prompt, professional, and great customer service. If you're looking for a headache-free experience, look no further than Pacific Pipes. read more

Matthew came out to fix a faucet in my shower, plus he cleaned a drain and fixed two toilets that were not flushing well. He was very responsive to my request for a quote and scheduled me quickly. He arrived on time and also phoned to let me know he was on his way. He fixed everything perfect - it's been several weeks and everything is working great. I will definitely use Pacific Pipes for all future plumbing needs. read more

Matt is a trusting and friendly plumber. The verbal estimate and written estimate differed by over $200 for a small job and he didn't have a main component to the job, so he made a 1 day into a 2 day job, 3 days apart. I recommend him but get the verbal estimate in writing before you commit. read more

Matt did a non-emergency bathroom repair for me a few months ago. Nice guy, prompt, reasonably priced, and paid attention to details like making sure the new caulking was done properly and everything was cleaned up. I'd definitely use him again. read more

I bought a water softener and needed it installed at my house. I called several places to get an estimate and some gave me outragous prices, but Matt was different his price was fair. He quoted me the cost of install and told me exactly what he would do. Upon completion of the job he even showed us how to use it and was nice enough to buy a cover to protect the unit. (since I got it installed outside my home) A couple months later I bought a more stable outdoor cabinet to protect the unit. I contaced Matt for help since I did not want to mess up his install. He didn't hesitate and came out and actually helped me installed it without charging me more. If you are looking for quality and great service he is definitely the guy to call. Thanks Matt! read more

Called Matt to replace fill valve etc in toilet. We made a plan to do the work tomorrow, but he called me back a bit later saying he had time to do it today. He showed up on time, was pleasant and professional, and quickly replaced all the parts in the toilet tank. He even took time to look at a couple of other issues and advise me. Price was fair. I will gladly use him again. Great guy! read more

We were looking for someone to install a garbage disposal and came across this company. i called and received an over-the-phone estimate, which was nice, and found that they had a Groupon. Once we made the appointment, we purchased the Groupon and all the necessary equipment so we would only pay him for labor. Our appointment time passed. We called to find out what the hold up was and the guy didn't answer. We left a message for him to call us ASAP because we had things to do (that's why you make appointments!). He never called back. We called back again and no answer. Finally, after an hour of waiting, we called and left him a message (because he STILL didn't answer) telling him we no longer required his services. The guy was nice on the phone when I got the estimate, but clearly has poor work ethic. i wouldn't recommend this company. read more
