Curved lift with power hinge rail

Purchased a curved chairlift from Pacific Mobility Center and was very happy with both the customer service and the professionalism of the staff. Their quote was reasonably priced and the lift was installed within the period of time quoted at the initial order. Heidi was great in establishing the 3 appts needed (initial presentation, measurement with computer rendering, and installation). Brian was very knowledgeable about the types of chairlifts and the designs. He was able to answer all my questions and help chose the right stairlift design for our stairs. Phil and Chris installed the chairlift within a reasonable time and patiently went through the operating instructions. From start to finish, this company was great to deal with. If looking for a curved stairlift, I highly recommend that this is the company to work with.

Our son Little Billy has a terminal disease, Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. He loves playing with his two sisters, but at times they may play with the upstairs or downstairs toys and he is left waiting for someone to carry him. While we have been happy to carry him, he often didn't ask because he is very quiet and instead just played alone. Other times he just wanted a toy from the other floor. His disease had robbed him of this freedom and it was something we wanted to give him. Also, he is getting heavier and carrying him up or down will become difficult and unsafe. The whole team from start to finish provided an absolute best in class experience. I always knew I was partnering with folks that care about their client and enjoy providing a form of assistance and giving freedom. I never felt pressured and everything was explained to me throughout. A few days ago Little Billy got his stairlift. He can finally get up and down without being carried. My family is grateful for the kindness, compassion and professionalism. Our son's journey has not been an easy one. It's hard to watch your son lose his abilities and those moments when you ponder you will bury them are unbearable. My wife and I promised to give Little Billy the best life we could. This chairlift is more than an assistive device. It is part of our hope and our dreams for Little Billy. It is the promise of a mom and dad to their baby boy. Thank you to everyone at PMC for being a part of this journey.

Ask the Community - Pacific Mobility Center

Does this place sell replacement better for the S-142 scooter 12V 50AH?

We do not stock 12V 50 AH batteries - these would be a special order item.

Does this company rent hospital beds for short term recovery from surgery?

Hi Rita, sorry but we do not sell or rent hospital beds. We currently only rent standard and transport wheelchairs, knee scooters, and straight stairlifts.

We purchased a Bruno for our straight staircase in that Bruno is built in USA and very well rated nationally.

I appreciate his concern and efforts to correct the problems The new scooter was delivered on Thursday, June 22nd at 945 am as promised. The scooter is actually the same model I requested way back in January before Access Medical was involved. I have to commend Blaine Hunt the CEO, for finally cutting through the myriad issues in the ensuing months. We discussed the problems and he appreciated learning about them so refinements can be made. I truly believe that is was a perfect storm in my case that caused all the problems. At this point, I would definitely recommend using Access medical.

(5/2/26) Kudos to everyone who spoke out on here and was right!…read more I recently spoke with someone in the escalations department at my insurance. They informed me that they spoke to someone in a position of authority at Access Medical and were told that their current business is CLOSED and they are CURRENTLY RESTRUCTURING. My advice to anyone reading this is: cut your losses, try to recoup what you can, make it quick and move onto another vendor. As for me, the folks at Access Medical strung me along and lead me on and straight up lied to me for over a year - leading me to believe that they were helping me get a new power wheelchair when they were doing not much of the sort. They even went so far as to fleece me for a $4,800+ co-pay - which I'll be attempting to recoup. I do have to give them props for one thing though - I DID get properly assessed for a new power wheelchair, and I DO have the paperwork from that, which I'll hopefully be able to pass on to a new vendor such that I can finally get the power wheelchair I need. As for the restructuring - I hope God intervenes and it doesn't happen. Neither the owners or executives at Access Medical need to be working with people in vulnerable physical and life circumstances, and they certainly don't need to be in charge of anything important like large amounts of money, high dollar assets, or owning or running an actual business. Their actions and behavior throughout this restructuring process prove that they need to go back to licking boots and stay there for a very long while.
