Came here to get documents notarized, and Don was supe helpful, friendly, and professional. So much so that I came back when I needed to mail out some packages, even though there was a post office much closer to me. The service here is fantastic and it's a pleasure doing business with them, which is honestly not something I thought I'd ever say about a post office. This review is long overdue. I've been patronizing this business for approximately three years. Don has always provided efficient, professional and friendly service. In this world of often indifferent and incompetent service providers, Don is like a day of sunshine in a winter storm. I made the mistake of going to the FedEx store last Christmas, and I couldn't get back to Pacific Mail soon enough. The prices may be higher, but Don is worth every penny. read more

This is now my go to place for all my shipping needs. The owner is always courteous and lets me know of the different options to save on shipping. I've never had to wait over 5 minutes. They have all carrier options, like USPS, Fedex, and USPS. I've recently been using them to ship presents to friends and family in Korea. They are connected with the Korean postal office, so my packages get there usually in 4 business days, and the cost is half the price compared to even USPS (which is the most affordable). A tracking number is given, so I can periodically check the shipment status. I think they are connected with the Japanese postal office too as I saw a sign in Japanese. Other services they offer are PO boxes, notary, and key copy. I haven't utilized any of these services, but I'll be coming here if I need them. I was in town visiting and shopped a bit to much, that I needed to mail several boxes home. I went to the USPS and mailed a pkg for 11$ and it was rec'd 2 days later. Unfortunately, I didn't have the other boxes needed to mail the rest of my stuff or I would have sent via USPS. B/c the line was outside the door At the USPS, I went to this mail service. The worst decision I made that day. I believe I over-paid to ship my addt 3 boxes. 30$ for one box USPS that wasn't picked up the next day. And $100+ for the other 2 boxes via UPS b/c the clerk said so and I didn't have the time to shop around. Well, the UPS packages were to be delivered today...1 pkg shows it's still in LA a week later. I have a PO box at a PAK service and absolutely love the service however this store, I'm sick to my stomach about how much spent and that I all pkgs aren't delivered. Go to the rude USPS, that another reviewer mentioned, I didn't experience that person, but at least your pkg will get shipped and you won't break the bank to send. read more

I have been going to Pacific Mail for over 14 years now and have to mention to all local Yelpers that this independently owned little full service mailing, notary, post office box rentals, etc... store has the most friendly, kind, knowledgeable, and helpful (goes out of his way...above and beyond...sorry no pressure Don! lol) to make sure his customers are well taken care of. Every time I have something to mail out Don, or his extremely helpful helper (I am sorry his name escapes me right now...but I thought it was his son because of the family oriented feeling I get when I use their services but it turns out he is actually Don's good friend...lol) will show me the comparison in prices between USPS, UPS, and FED EX to ensure I am getting the cheapest option available, within the time frame I want, so I get the most out of the money I spend. And even when I just have a package or box that already has the postage paid...which has no monetary value for Don, he happily invites me to leave it with him to get it sent out! In fact, if it won't go until the next day he will inform me this so that I can decide whether or not to leave it with him until the next morning or take it directly to the exporting facility whether it's UPS, FED EX, or USPS if it is imperative the package go out on a specific date. I'd rather support local small business owners like Don because he puts all of his customers first. And that is what really counts. Thanks Don! I don't know what I'd do without you! My sister and I have mailed things using Pacific Mail many times. I thought the guy that works there was super polite and friendly. Sure, sometimes it's a bit slow, but he's always the only one there, and I understand it's just a small business. I've shipped time-sensitive documents, heavy boxes, and simple parcels without issue. Great reviews. Now I am one of the reviewers! WHY WOULD I EVER go anywhere else?! After a completely sleepless night I arrived with legal paperwork and checks I needed to send safely! One was going across the country. Don gave me option after option and explained the possible savings for each mail, down to the penny. He has amaaazing patience! I chose FedEx. I explained I needed to split the cost so that a credit card paid for a portion of EACH of the airbills and cash paid for the other portion. So, Don patiently waited, after both envelopes were sealed while I went bank to get the cash. Don responded professionally to ALL of my questions AND my trek to the bank with "no problem." He double checked everything I sent to make sure the right paperwork went in to the right envelope. Thank you for helping me hold out hope that TRUE customer service is still possible !!
