Dr Rayman is hands down THE BEST VEIN DOCTOR I have ever been to. I interviewed 5 different doctors…read moreto alleviate my hereditary varicose vein problem. Dr. Rayman outshined all of them. First of all, his background is very extenstive beyond any of the other docs I interviewed. He truly understands varicose veins, spider veins and the like, to a depth that no other doc could even hold a candle to. This enables him to explain vein issues, and in particular mine, and their REALISTIC solutions in a way that is understandable, caring, warm and with a great sense of humor! His bedside manner, as is his entire office staff and BEAUTIFUL, serenity provoking decor and music are unmatched. He is very honest, straightforward and beyond knowledgeable and professional. He was super honest about the results both good and not that could come from the removal of my varicose veins so that I would have realistic expectations. His staff worked diligently with my insurance so that I could get the most possible work covered. Him and his assistant kept me laughing and at ease through the entire seemingly daunting process of having my varicose veins removed from both legs (not both on the same day!) and with NO SCARRING!!! My next move is to have them remove my spider veins so that I can have the legs I've always dreamed of! Thank you Dr. Rayman for taking such good care of me!! I will definitely be back for the grand finale!!

My 92-year-old, active mother had been suffering from lower leg pain for several years. They…read morelooked as if they were bruised. Large dark spots located from her ankle up her side shins and calves. She had discussed this issue with several doctors for the past few years. No one could conclude what the issue was, even with tests. It was attributed to aging and was felt that there was nothing that could be done. However, one of the specialists to whom she was referred, suggested that she consult with yet a different specialist to investigate her veins. My mother was not able to connect with that referral, so she reached out to me to assist her. I scoured different sites and found Dr. Mohammed with the Renaissance Laser & Vein Institute. I read his reviews here on Yelp* and a medical website. I discussed him with my mother, and she agreed to meet with him. Upon arrival we found his staff to be pleasant and courteous. We were then led to his office where he took a look at my mother's legs and after observing and asking my mom several questions had a hypothesis as to what her issue was. He believed that the darkness came from dead blood pooling around her legs. He felt that her veins were damaged and functioning properly. He said that she had a good pulse and was healthy but her blood was not flowing properly back and that was what was causing the discoloration. He stated that this is a maternal hereditary condition. After, discussing this my mother did mention that my grandmother had a similar case in the past century, but they didn't know what it was. Fortunately, my mother has no daughters to whom to pass this. He recommended that he do four separate treatments to remove the "dead" veins in both legs. He said, that it isn't life-threatening to not do so, but if it isn't done it will surely lead to more severe pain in the future. He felt that this process could relieve most if not all of the pain but felt that the dark spots were irreversible. Considering her age, he wanted her to think about it before moving forward. Her biggest plus that this would be successful without major complications is that she was very healthy despite her age. She didn't have to think long. She said, "Let's do it!". We met again shortly thereafter to commence the procedure. Over the next several weeks of in-office operations to remove the veins from the front and rear of each leg, one at a time; she also met with another medical staff to check on her in between operations. They also had her walk immediately after each procedure and at least 30 minutes daily to continue to promote blood circulation throughout her legs. She also had to wear special medical tight leggings on the leg that was being cared for during the process. She did all of this diligently. It's been several months since this was all completed. She said that she felt improvement immediately with the pain diminishing, to now where her legs feel 100% better without pain. As a bonus, despite the doctor's feeling that the bruise-like marks were permanent, she is happy to have seen the discoloration improve dramatically. Far from being completely cleared but a vast improvement in appearance. We both recommend Dr. Mohammedzadeh. We found him to be patient, attentive, and knowledgeable. My mother said that he was skillful in the operating room, which only took about an hour each time. His staff were all friendly and kind to us. Starting with Arelly, at the front office who communicated with us diligently via phone calls, emails, and texts. The entire staff treated my mother with respect and acted as if she were their mom. If you are having vascular issues, then call him and get a consultation. You will be glad that you did.

My intial appointment was cancelled due to an emergency on the doctor's side which was acceptable. My next appointment was moved, but for a day in the same week. After 3 months of waiting for this examination I arrive with my paperwork and discover that they don't take my type of Blue Shield of Ca insurance. Are you bloody kidding me? They don't take the the Covered California version of Blue Shield!!! Apparently I was supposed to know that from an email. They did not say it when I booked the stupid appointment, so why would I look for that!!! What a waste of my time for serious condition that I have had to go to Urgent Care for. Grrrrrrrr........ Now I have to find another specialist and who knows how long that will take. Terrible!!!

This is the only place where we felt like we were treated like people and not cattle. My father previously had a procedure at at another place and got botched and had tons of pain after. After several other opinions, we felt the most comfortable here. The customer service is amazing and nothing I have previously seen at a medical office. Anna, the manager, kept in constant contact with us and guided us through every step of the way. My father underwent two procedures and is now pain free and has warm legs and feet and can walk. I am so grateful to Vascular Intervention Specialists and their talented doctors. Thank you so much and I wish you continued success.

When I tell you that the last one that hit was a special kind of hell....well.....there's no exaggeration there at all. Keeping my finger crossed that everything comes up negative, and that the urologist gets the results asap. I've learned the hard way what kind of stone my particular body produces, and it's the calcium oxalate variety. This means I'm tasked with keeping oxalate levels down to a minimum, and learning the low oxalate diet asap. Unfortunately for me, that means no more baked potatoes, no more dark chocolate of ANY kind, no more iced tea and a host of other high oxalate foods! Not sure why the reviews are so bad for this place, but I can say that I was handled with the utmost respect, and was in and out in literally 35 minutes. The staff was on point, super professional, and kind. So either I got lucky, or they've stepped their game up!
