She was so friendly, figured out my ankle was just severely sprained - not broken- and actually cared about what my best options for recovery were. My follow up appointment was a breeze and because I followed her original instructions - I was back at running and working on my feet with ease and faster than I ever thought possible. Dixon is awesome! She cares and is so real. I recommend her to everyone!

The moment I walked into Dr. Dixon's office, I was struck by the unwelcoming atmosphere and the sheer lack of professionalism. Dr. Dixon has the worst bedside manner I've ever encountered. She is not only dismissive but also outright rude. When I tried to explain my symptoms of a sprained ankle/foot, I was met with very little feedback and hardly any advice on next steps. It was clear that my concerns were not taken seriously. Dr. Dixon seemed more interested in cutting the appointment short than actually diagnosing or treating my issue. I left the office feeling frustrated and still in pain, with no real understanding of what was going on with my foot/ ankle. I had to call almost daily to get follow ups on insurance and MRI appointments. The Imagining center kept telling me Dr. Dixon's office was not responding to them in order to schedule me. It took me a MONTH to finally get an MRI. Alley at the front desk has zero clue what she is doing. They began to purposely not answer my calls. I have a big setback in my healing process because of this office. On top of it all, Dr. Dixon refused to give me MRI results over the phone while I was traveling for work and a wedding all while in serious pain. She gave me surface level results after I begged for some type of feedback or finding. I am in a walking boot and was also denied a handicap placard from her office. Instead I saw a new doctor and was given a temporary pass for 6 months and was handed the paperwork and placard within 24 hours with a full diagnosis of my foot and ankle. I regret ever stepping foot in Dr. Dixon's office and would strongly advise anyone to look elsewhere for compassionate and competent care. This doctor's lack of empathy and professionalism is unacceptable. Save yourself the trouble and find a provider who will actually listen and treat you with the respect you deserve. This entire office SUCKS!

The office team knew the amounts and failed to inform me. The scheduler only interacts with two sentences on email is is not a kind person. This place is a scam. I was highly recommended to go here but unless you are a professional athlete- they are not going to see you- they are going to demand high amounts of cash and deny you services if you don't have it literally over night. I do not recommend Watkins Spine where this doctor is- to anyone. I'm absolutely disgusted with the shady behavior, there is no other way to note it- this office has hid fees and not been upfront with patients. A waste of time and ALOT of money already paid with additional MRI - parking is also $30 for an hour. They charge the same for permanent handicap parking too. Outrageous! It's all around shocking- this is not patient centered. This is only about money. Avoid this office.

Remedy Pain Solutions has been -- and I don't use this word lightly -- life-changing for me…read more I have 4 herniated discs and a torn disc. Been doing physical therapy, chiro, and massage for 8+ years and gotten some short term relief but the debilitating spasms have only gotten worse and more frequent. I couldn't play sports and there were weeks on end where I couldn't even pick up my two babies. I was referred to Dr. Bajaj by an Orthopedic surgeon in the same building and told if this doesn't work, disc replacement surgery is my last option. The team at RPS went through a slow and deliberate process to see how my discs and lower back responded to less inflammation -- first with diagnostic cortisone shots. The symptoms slightly improved so Dr. Bajaj recommended I do stem cell injections with a PRP booster. I was skeptical since nothing else had worked and healing my condition had been somewhat hopeless. Although insurance did not cover the procedure, it was the best money I've ever spent. Within a few weeks 80% of the pain had gone. Within a few months I was playing sports again. Today I'm living my life without having to plan every moment around stretching, getting treatment, icing, etc just to do something as simple as a long car ride. Dr. Bajaj's treatment transformed my life and I couldn't be happier with the results. Thank you!

Then they turned around and sent the same $300 to a collections agency to chase me for money they had already refunded. I emailed Michelle, the office manager, who has had no trouble responding to me in the past, to resolve it quietly. She ignored the email. I ended up contacting the billing company myself and sending them proof of Remedy's own refund so they would stop pursuing me. So: no physical exam, no BioTE procedure I had scheduled, $300 out of pocket, a partial refund, a collections referral for money already returned, and silence from the office when I tried to fix it. This is not a clerical mix-up. It is a failure of basic professionalism, and I had to clean up their mistake using their own records.

Her peaceful demeanor were both calming and reassuring. I absolutely trust and appreciate Dr. Herz; oh, and she's got a great team around her. Every single person I met in her office is highly commendable. *** No creo mi recomendación sea necesaria porque con solo ver a la Dra. He is not just the best in…read moreMarina Del Rey and the greater Los Angeles area, but he is the only spine doctor to see if you live anywhere in California (or even anywhere else in the US as far as I'm concerned!). I've had three spinal surgeries with him over the past 15 years or so, and all three went without a single issue or any complications at all! Being a patient with several pre-existing conditions, it is nearly impossible for me not to have any post-op problems (even for the smallest of surgeries, much less for two cervical spinal fusions and one cervical spinal disc replacement surgery!). Dr Watkins Jr is the best in the field, and as far as I'm concerned, the ONLY orthopedic spinal surgeon to even consider. If I could give him 20 stars, I would, because a 5 star rating just doesn't do him enough justice! He's by far the SMARTEST , most CARING, distinguished, TALENTED, highly SKILLED, reputable, and most highly respected spinal surgeons in the country (if not the world). Even with all his fame, talent, and esteem, Dr Watkins Jr. still treats every patient equally, takes his TIME with each and every person he sees, and truly CARES for every single patients' well-being over his own pocketbook (which is a rarity these days to say the least!). And most shocking of all is that this comes from one of the highest acclaimed, top-level, world-renowned surgeons, who is most famous for being the go-to spinal surgeon to the world's top athletes. He's most well-known for when he performed the spinal surgeries for two of NFL's most notable football players, and arguably the best quarterbacks of all time, Peyton & Eli Manning, both of whom sing Dr Watkins Jr's praises for the care that they received from him. Dr Watkins Jr is now the go-to orthopedic spine surgeon to each and every one of all the world's top athletes from all major sports/sports teams, now being the surgeon to not just the NFL, but also to the NBA, NHL, and so on. HIGHLY recommended would be an understatement! Trust me on this one.

He wasn't what I expected -- though I'm not sure what I expected. He was quiet. No oversized ego. Thoughtful and calculated in his questions. He actually took the time to understand what was wrong with me. I didn't feel rushed. I didn't feel like a number. My husband was with me, and Dr. Blumstein patiently answered every one of his questions too. He was kind, measured, and thorough. He has set the bar for how doctors should be -- and it's a high one. I've spent my entire adult life dealing with back issues. I had reached a point where walking was becoming difficult. In clear, straightforward terms, he told me I was a candidate for surgery and that he was convinced he could fix me. He explained the risks. He explained the rewards. But it was his quiet confidence that swayed me. I swore I would never have back surgery. Dr. Blumstein spent an hour walking me through everything. I left that appointment a convert -- and booked my surgery that same day. It was the best decision I could have made. The surgery itself? He's a wizard. There's no other way to describe it. In three hours, he corrected 35 years of damage. And it wasn't as though it was "just another procedure" to him. He takes pride in his work. You can see it when he sees you at follow-ups -- walking normally again -- and he shares in your progress. The walls of Marina Spine Center are lined with memorabilia from major league athletes. But the real MVPs in that office wear white coats and take care of people when they are broken and most vulnerable. Dr. Blumstein is my MVP.

The only thing I didn't hate about this place was the convenient location for me and the free and easy parking. Every single one of the receptionists here are rude. Not just uncomfortable rude, but EXTREMELY rude to the point where I'd almost rather walk out than have to talk to them about insurance or appointments or any basic function of their interaction with patients. I once had a 2:00 appointment only to be seen at 4:30 for 5 minutes. My best wait time out of my 3 appointments was an hour and 45 minutes. It's a complete waste of my time. When I was waiting in the waiting room, I also noticed the 90% of the clientele that was coming in after me and being seen before me were repeat patients and all above the age of 75. Interesting. My doctor was Dr. John Randall Davis but I'll write a separate review of him. I know it's common practice to have to wait for your doctor, and in my experience that's been especially true for orthopedists, but this office has been the worst doctor's office experience I've ever had. I also had some problems with the way they billed my insurance but ended up just paying everything to get away from here!
