This trail is a gravel and bike trail. One side is gravel to walk on and the other side is paved for bikes. Mostly saw moms with strollers (no toddlers or children or unsupervised children) This is a great location for non minors to connect with nature. They do kick out homeless people. The trail itself is not very scenic. In the beginning anyways as we did not do the full trail. There is a bathroom and there may be a water fountain.

It's a nice, family and pet friendly hiking spot in Rancho which blends urban vibes with a little bit of nature. Great place for a family hike, walking your pets, biking, and even just chilling. You have to cross streets every now and then though. Amenities: There's water fountains for replenishing, although I wouldn't use it. Dog poopy bags as well as restrooms for men and women. There's ample parking as well.

I've known about this trail for many years but I didn't live out this direction. Finally over a year of living in Rancho I walked the trail! It's beautiful. Super clean with the exception of horse dung in one spot and a few random dog poop piles thanks to disrespectful people. There are poop bags along the trail, so it would be nice if people would stop being lazy. They have benches to sit on in some spots, and water fountains too. I walked from Hellman to Foothill. It was about 4.5 miles round trip. Enjoyed the views and checking out peoples backyards along the way. My daughter also picked a few wild flowers. It's a great trail to walk, run, ride your bike, etc. and there are many friendly people along the way. So glad that this trail exists for people to use! One of my favorite things about living in this city is the existence of this beautiful trail!

Such a fun beautiful trail to ride. Came on a weekday morning and pedestrians were walking in the middle of the road or two pedestrians taking up both lanes of traffic.. it kills me. I can only imagine how annoying it gets on the weekend when it's extra busy. But the trail itself is stunning and clean. They do have a dirt road next to the paved one where some pedestrians walked their dogs, etc. Parked at the parking lot on Foothill west of Vineyard (go west for a minute and you'll see the parking lot come up on the north side of the street) it's clean and appears really safe to park. They also have public restroom there. Rode the ramp up to the trail. It's a long trail and you can really go as far as you desire we did 12 miles this morning and between a couple of stops for traffic and trying to pass pedestrians it took us about an hour. The trail is exposed with no shade make sure to bring sunscreen and water. Highly recommend a visit on a weekday or off hours on the weekend.

I came here early yesterday morning. hoping I'd be the only one on the trail but there was people here already. it was really cold and got real windy once i passed the 15. As i got into fontana then rialto the wind got really strong and i couldn't pedal straight at times because the wind kept blowing me sideways and keeping me back.i finally made it to the end of the trail exhausted. 18 miles from my house and back for a total of 36+ miles.

Awesome trail! Especially in the evening! The parking is free and there's plenty of it. People are friendly. Bikers, joggers, walkers. Came here for an evening run around sunset and really enjoyed it.

Beautiful sight passing over one of the bridges along the trail
