Community is always stronger together. This special event was a night full of fun, connection, and inclusivity celebrating all things incredible about our local culture. Huge thanks to everyone who showed up and supported this meaningful gathering. More to come, stay tuned! With love, Team Smiley

Wonderful spot to have company parties or events. Parking is vast and always available. The park always looks clean. Love to see the kiddos in the dance class. Miss seeing my niece when she was little in her dance class. There is also a little free library stand!! Sad I was late to the class, if not, I probably would have loved to take a new book to read!!

Great little green oasis. I come here when I want to relax and take a stroll among the well-manicured grass and trees. There's a little playground and a covered picnic area. Plenty of covered parking as well. The conference hall is right there as well and is spacious inside. My company holds their annual summit meetings in there.

Newest addition to Central Park ... a dog park complete with a huge yellow geometric Doberman! I like this spacious dog park which has separate areas for big and small dogs. It comes complete with obstacle course and balls for your pet to fetch. This is a great place to have your dog meet other canines! I did not encounter any aggressive dogs, but I would still keep a close eye on your fur baby as some people brought medium to big dogs in the area. The place comes complete with obstacle course and balls for fetching! There are many benches to sit with beautiful views of the mountains! Lulu had a safe great time!

This is one calm, serene, family friendly park! I come here sometimes because it's close to the dentist and dog groomers, and it's always neat, clean and very quiet! There are people laying around on the grass reading, what looks like a Tai Chi group exercising, and a few folks walking their dogs! There's a senior or multipurpose building that always seems to have events or meetings, a great looking playground for kids, a bbq area, plenty of wide open spaces for picnics or parties, and no shady type people, at least that I've seen! In the western part of the center there's a really nice veteran's memorial set up and it appears to have tributes to firefighters also. There's a bike path that runs along the northern edge of the park and a open gym area as well! I saw a new, large, dog park being built about a block to the west which I can't wait for, but for now, I'm loving this park and I think you will too!

Nice clean park that has a huge senior center on site. Plenty of parking and the pacific electric bike trail is alongside this park Lots of green grass and a huge area for kids to play on swings slides and more

Great outside gym. Hope it stays clean and respected

This outside gym is clean and inexpensive. It's at a location anyone can stop by and spend 10 min on each station to work on strength and flexibility. Why city leaderships don't add a station like this to all neighborhood parks in America is not wise. Bolted down pull up, dip, sit up stations. American adult and kids would be in better physical condition. Help the mental and emotion

This is a pretty neat little park. I like that there is no sand on the playground. I also like that there are little paths around and near the playground for kids to ride bikes or scooters, etc. there are lots of grassy areas for playing ball or picnics. Plenty of parking. There was quite a bit for kids of all ages to play on. Different structures for different ages. Baby & toddler swings. Big kid swings and even a swing for the physically impaired. There is not much shade however. But all the structures were in good condition, and the playground was clean. We ride our bikes on the Pacific Electric Trail to this park on Sunday and we're quite surprised by the amount of people there at 10am. It's obviously quite popular. There is a senior center and a really nice memorial to our fallen service members. The community center was open on Sunday so we were able to use the restrooms which were extremely clean and well stocked. It appeared they even had a snack area inside to help yourself. Overall it was a pleasant day and I'm thankful that the community center was open so my 3yo could take advantage of the restrooms before riding our bikes back home.

Could not find the outdoor gym. Walked around some building, which was closed. Am I missing something?

Ask the Community - Central Park

Are there lights on the playground or grassy area at night?

Are there bbqs at this park?

    No open flames allowed

    Are the bathrooms nice?

There are only restrooms inside the facility, which are nice and kept clean. Multiple on different end of building. Would be nice if they also had some outside.

Does their parking lot have an electric vehicle charging station?

No. I've never seen any there

Literally a hidden gem. I have lived near this venue for a decade and didn't know it was here! My…read moresister found it when we were desperate to find a location for a Celebration of Life service for my son. Hidden Oaks was perfect! We had a short time frame, a tight budgets (his death was a surprise, which makes for a surprise budget as well), and a whole lot of unknowns -- like how many guests there would be. That's rough event planning. Sheryl and our coordinator Lyndsay were incredibly flexible, kind, and understanding. I will always be grateful to them for this. We paid for the additional assistance of two staffers -- Helping Hands, for $20 per hour. Well-worth it, and they were lovely. Highly recommend. Lyndsay was an absolute SAINT putting up with all our question marks on this day. She was calm, professional, and had everything under control. Since I was crying half the time, I was very thankful for her presence. Our guests were blown away with how beautiful the venue was. Most guests were local and they were as surprised as we were! So here's what you need to know about this venue: --it is gorgeous, shady, clean and just lovely. Perfect for a smallish event of about 100-200, IMO. --it is disabled accessible, although it is a historical property. --you cannot hear the freeway at all once you are inside the venue --pricing is VERY reasonable and you won't have a catering minimum. --it has Padua Hills vibes, but the catering minimum there is $10K and you have to use their caterer -- no thank you. --big money saver: they have tables, chairs, umbrellas, and they set up of all that. You only need to rent linens. --There is a kitchen, but it is not really for cooking. More for staging and refilling. It has a commercial fridge and a freezer, so we kept ice and extra cheese and desserts to refill. The caterers used it, but we didn't cook there. --it has both indoor and outdoor spaces, which makes it great for rain plans. --there is no alcohol, no smoking of any kind, and music needs to be the Disney version. It is owned by a Christian church, so values need to align there. They mean these things. Respect this. For us, this was no problem, since we needed a sober venue for the respect of some of our guests. We simply printed a disclaimer on our invitations. --you probably need extra signage at the entrance because it is easy to miss. You need to allow time for people to get in if you have a lot of guests. --Cheryl was organized -- we had a pre-meeting where she gave us a tour and a folder of all the details (table sizes, rules, helpful vendor contacts, etc) In our case, we welcomed guests on the north side of the building, had an espresso bar on the west patio, then directed guests to the back yard where the gazebo is. We held the "ceremony" part of the event by the gazebo, but we didn't really decorate at all (we didn't want it to feel like a wedding). Then we invited guests into the house and to the north side of the property, where one would normally have a reception for snacks and socializing. There are lots of little rooms and places where groups of guests can socialize within the house. For us, that worked because groups of my son's friends could reminisce together in their own social groups. We had no real need for flowers, because the facility was beautiful by itself. I hope this venue helps!
