Love this trail! My daughter had planned a picnic lunch for her and her boyfriend and they invited me to come along. It was a hot hike after church, but it's so cool and relaxing once you reach the falls. The trail is well maintained and I hadn't gone to the falls in quite a long time, but it actually looks well-maintained and clean. Possibly the cleanest I've ever seen it. The parking lot tends to get pretty full, but since we went later in the morning, we didn't have a problem finding a spot. Definitely park in the designated areas otherwise you will be towed. There are signs with QR codes to allow you to pay for parking on your phone.

Really enjoyed this trail. It starts off easy but the incline sneaks up on you but the waterfall at the end is worth it. Pretty views, friendly people, and a good workout.

Easy family friendly trail to the waterfalls - which we didn't know were the falls initially. We saw a bunch of people sitting around rocks about 30 minutes into the hike, and we thought it was a halfway break point so we kept going for another half hour up the trail in search of the falls. While the trail was pretty (despite all the horrendous graffiti everywhere), I couldn't figure out where the falls were, so I went back on AllTrails.com and saw that we already passed it, so we turned around and realized the falls were where all the people were sitting. It was pretty underwhelming to be honest. I climbed down the rocks to get a better view of the falls, and it seemed to me to be more like a big serenity fountain than a waterfall. The trail is wide and flat and all uphill going up, but I wouldn't recommend it for wheelchairs or strollers since it's pretty steep. Go early for parking, as spaces are pretty limited - even on a Friday morning when we went. When we were leaving there were a good number of cars sitting there waiting for people to leave so they can take their space. Pay for your parking via QR code posted on signs throughout the lot.

the trail was fine and the waterfall is pretty but kinda small. the parking has a good amount of space, and it's cheap, 4$. the start is confusing because it had these gate-like blockades that you walk around but if you go straight the falls are ahead. the trail is pathed with smaller rocks but it's manageable and the elevation is a slow and constant rise. once you get to the top, the waterfall is a sight and the creek is fun to explore.

Was in Ontario area and decided to take this hike. Had not intentions on going one but wanted to check it out after we had breakfast. We got lucky with parking that we squeezed into. But we went in the afternoon so the lot was full and if we didn't get lucky we would've had to wait and fight for a spot. Of course afterwards coming back down. Plenty of parking. So just depends on the time and day of the week of course . Saturday 4/20 for this hike. The hike itself will give you a sweat, there are plenty of people walking up and down, all shapes and sizes. With kids , no kids but dogs. People even bringing up their babies. If you are looking for a hike with a nice view and somewhat peaceful. You will get what you want. Will give you a sweat. I'm in fairly good shape and it got me sweating, of course there are patches with no shade and we were going at a faster pace. Once up there you will be able to cool down, the water is cold but feels nice. Only dipped our feet in with our shoes. Didn't care if they got wet, so we can hang maneuver to where ever. They'll dry up when you get back down. So hop in. I give it a 4 because of course when it's popular it doesn't feel as special especially since not everyone has the same appreciation. So of course graffiti and carvings and trash. Nothing too crazy but still don't get how people can be selfish because of course no one wants to see your stupid a** markings. Aside from that, I recommend the hike, especially if you live in an area where you can't get to too many

Easy to moderate hike. The smell of the fresh air filled up my lungs with lots of joy. What amazing feeling I had once I heard the waterfall. Kid friendly hike.

Great moderate hike, tough enough to make me sweat and easy enough to not make me cramp up. There were inclines and very rocky grounds but it was very doable. We walked straight to the waterfalls and then back down to the other longer trail with an additional 2.5 mile, totaling about 5.5 miles. There's a restroom all the way up top (not the waterfall trail). It was about 50 degrees F but still made me sweat since the sun was beaming down, without any shade. Parking during a weekend was tough, there were so many cars and everyone seem to be fighting for a spot. I've seen so many cars steal other cars' spot even when they were waiting there first. We stopped and waited about 35 mins at the parking lot until we were able to get a spot.

Compared to Runyon canyon this hiking trail was a bit easier. Slight incline all the way to the top. Didn't feel like the incline was ever too steep. Took me 1 hour and 37 minutes round trip back to car this includes ten minutes taking photos and enjoying the waterfall up top.

I went yesterday 7/15/23 on a saturday, we went on several stops bec. the weather is brutally hot. there are no bathrooms in sight, so if you wanna use the bathroom bring toilet paper lol. bring lots of water, make sure to apply sunscreen & bug repellants, specially on your clothes bec. there will be bugs all around you, once you started hiking. You will see a barcode to pay for parking, we paid about $3.25 for 4 hrs. wear hiking shoes, if you're not wearing hiking shoes, goodluck there's lots of rocks on the trail and you will slip and fall off if you're outsoles arent that strong. if you're not physically fit, bring a hiking pole to help you get there, the trail will be difficult but hang in there, according to my tracker, from the parking lot with several stops, you will get there about 1.70 miles to the waterfalls. when you ask people and they say its nearby, dont believe them, as long as you dont hear the waterfalls, you still have a long way to go! i think i've asked a lot of people, one lady said i have about 20 min. away.. she lied! 45 min. later, we heard the waterfalls lol just keep on going, like i said im not physically fit but we made it!l

One of my favorite local hikes, for a quick beginner to moderate level hike. there are multiple trails that one can choose to hike. The main trail that leads to a small creek and waterfall is usually well trafficked. Although there are many signs saying no dogs, there are still those that are clowns and don't adhere to the rules. The falls are a highlight of this hike and it's about a 1.5 mile hike up to the falls if the direct trail is taken. Once you get there, you will find plenty of shade and place to rest. The trail: very rocky on most of the way, there are spots where it's smooth. it's a straight incline and hike up, majority of the way. There are a couple places that are flat. There are great views and a couple of places to sit at benches and tables, on the other trails. I highly recommend this trail and hike. Parking area is very limited, so if you don't park within the parking area, you run the risk of being towed. The use to be more parking, but rich local residents complained about the crowds and so that changed. Can't let the common folks ruin their neighborhood, can we now? trail closes is open dawn to dusk, so check times on the website or else your car will be locked in the parking area or towed when the gates are closed and locked.

A somewhat simple 3.5 mile roundtrip hike to a small waterfall. For the most part, the trail was very rocky and open without any shades. The area around the waterfall was completely shaded. Surprisingly, there was a decent amount of water even though there hasn't been some rain lately. Parking is on a dirt road and costs $3.25 (pay through app with credit card).

Come check out this waterfall hike right now it's flowing good due to all the snow melt. It's very muddy and rocky so bring good shoes with tread. There is some parking at the trail head in dirt/gravel and you pay to park thru the Honk Mobile App. $3.25 for 4 hours we finished the hike in about a little over an hour. It's 3.4 miles round trip.

Bit of a hike to the falls. It took us about 45min to reach the top. Lots of rocks to walk over along the way... but once you reach the falls, it's worth it!

Nice to hike to on weekdays early to beat the crowds. Weekdays are the best , otherwise to many ants at the picnic!

It was beautiful when I went. It was my first hike trail ever. I felt I wasn't going to make it but I did. Maybe I'll go back one day.
