    Alright so a fresh review…read more I had some payment issues where I was supposed to receive a notice in December of 2019 about increased HOA fees, but I did not. For some reason, my HOA sent me this notice April 2020, along with my two payment coupon books on the 1st of June. So I went to Paylease and made the update to my autopay amount to adjust for the increase claimed in the coupon books that came with the letter. To my surprise, I then received a letter November 2020 from Weldon Brown stating I had $400 in late fees on top of being $390 delinquent. After calling Terri, the CFO/financial manager, I found out that I had been $30 short per month since December of 2019. I explained to her my side of the story, and without hesitation, she told me that she'd transfer the amount over to the new management company. What I am most impressed about this situation is that I behaved very rashly, but they were quite patient with me. I was fuming. A demand for $400 was a lot of money to suddenly show up in my mail box. This was the first letter I'd received notifying me of my delinquent payment after months. And I didn't have all the information at the time to understand that this wasn't their fault. They didn't need to transfer that $400 over to the new management company. They probably had every legal right to keep it, but they made an ethical move and dealt with me kindly. What they did shows me that they are a fair organization despite the type of people they deal with, and have excellent values befitting an organization which manages other people's money. That's rare to find.

The application process was a bit extensive, more than my usual in my opinion in the beginning. However note i understand why. From the two years I've been living here a few tenants have moved out and I worried about future tenants moving in. The new tenants though have always been friendly, respectful, and peaceful. The application process definitely plays off when I feel peace knowing future tenants will be great. From the day I moved in to today, my communication with Lisa, (she is whom I communicate most of the time with) is reliable and prompt. Any maintenance issue and request I have had is always addressed and managed by Lisa and the Empire Management staff. Empire Management in my experience do their best to answer to tenants issues ans community concerns. I cant ask for a better management company! I really enjoy the community I live in. It's a small complex, we all know each other. Some of us are close neighbors and kutner are just cordial but we all keep an eye on each other's apartment. We all do our best to take care of our community. It's a nice, quiet, welcoming complex. We have our hiccups here and there but they are resolved and the peace is always restored.

    Dale, You if YOU…read more are frustrated I am much more frustrated! I was actually being super nice here and fair, but maybe I should go back and remove a star and tell more things. Okay well Since Dale thinks this is "SILLY" let's look at FACTS not LIES. 1. I didn't complain about the side yard. I even stated SOME THINGS WERE ON US. To be fair and honest I didn't know about the side yard when we first moved in and it was because I asked one day and then I was told it's on us (which I had no problem with and I kept it cut). The week before I moved out, there was NO grass there. I forgot to check it the final few days. The weeds must have grown really fast!! So pls don't try that. You are specifically adding things in I didn't even mention. No! The landscaping was immaculate the entire time we lived there so don't lie and say you sent notices!! We never received ANY NOTICE the entire time we live there!! 2. No I STILL have not received my deposit until today!! And $450 for a small tiny area IS a rip off sorry. There's no excuse for that! AND Every landscaper I asked never even quoted me even half that much!! Try again. 3. "For the most part these were pretty good tenets". No..We were excellent tenants and you know that and you can go back and ask every landlord of EVERY place I've every place I've lived at and they said I was an amazing tenant and they all wish I could've stayed there! 4. The house was filthy, and my wife can vouch for that and I spent weeks scrubbing everything. I may even still have pictures so no it was not clean when we took over the house. 5. we literally BABIED that house! I can't begin to explain every situation nor all the issues we had while there! And even you guys admitting college students lived there and tore it up! 6. Oh and I also took MY OWN VIDEOS when moving in and when moving out. And the entire final week there while cleaning each area!! I also have pics and videos of the carpet cleaning. Oh and so forgot to add I was charged three extra days after moving out because it was the weekend. PLUS Monday I was ALSO charged though they had the keys in their hand (and re took ownership of the property first thing when arriving 8 am when they opened their office doors). Also sent pics /videos of putting the keys in their drop box. It doesn't matter if you take the keys Friday at 5:01 pm they will charge you the weekend plus Monday. Never had this happen before either! 7. I still don't believe any lightbulbs were out. Too bad I didn't take a picture or video Bcz when I checked all that they worked until the second I left!! I replaced everything else that broke or had normal wear and tear. So don't say I didn't take care of it. I HIGHLY HIGHLY RESENT THAT!! So you want to try again!? ** PLUS, Everyone can just read all the one star ratings here and see for themselves what type of place this is. I'm sorry I didn't read the reviews before utilizing them. Don't make the same mistakes we did!! You've been warned!! There's a reason they are known to be lousy and have bad ratings!! Okay final response to you here Dave, I am not here to gripe and I never do that. I refuse to keep going back and forth with you. These so-called videos you provided, doesn't even allow you to see anything.. as I said, I have MY OWN videos, pics and receipts with Dates/timestamps of BOTH moving in and moving out. I can send you pictures and videos PROVING that it was disgusting! It's like you really think I'm lying. Unfortunately some of the pictures and videos have gotten deleted over the year or lost and some I didn't take of everything but the tubs and showers that literally had black or white film and I spent hours scrubbing. The fridge and the oven was very filthy and I still have those pictures!We found dog hair in the carpets, floors and crevices!! So you're lucky I'm not posting them here. I will save you the embarrassment, but I'm almost ready to embarrass you!! Because one thing I don't like is when people lie. Thanks for admitting you went a few days after I moved out which was probably even more days considering you were closed over the weekend. So, you have to add those three days on top of the two or three days you stated. So, you're looking at almost a week later you went to look at the house which wouldn't be as accurate as my video in the final seconds I was there.

    Very pleased with First Choice Property Management. We had a few bumps in the road with a push back…read morein date move in, but management allowed us to move in anyway. I got to tell you that this place is awesome with spacious rooms, two bathrooms, new flooring, big backyard, and enough space to live comfortably. Everything I could ask for was provided, the process time to get approval took a while, but glad I waited to get approved. Thank you team At First Choice.
