When I asked for my receipt, the interaction felt abrupt and unnecessarily reactive. At that point, I decided to skip it, waiting for my iced latte and then leave. I'm not sure whether the background music was too loud, the employee was having a difficult day, or there was simply a communication breakdown. Regardless of the reason, the overall customer service felt rushed and unwelcoming. In fact, there were not many customers in the shop at noon. On Monday, February 2, Mike and Jack came out to install a brand new heater after our old system stopped functioning and was outdated. The installation went well thanks to their professional experience. We had purchased a Nest thermostat but were not aware that we needed to order the Nest charging plate cover and Nest power connector separately. Since we didn't have those items at the time of installation and due to the storm, Jack returned on Monday, March 16 to finish setting everything up. The entire process was smooth and professional from start to finish. My husband and I highly recommend Higher Grounds Heating and Air Conditioning, especially for residents here on the mountain.
