I have literally never made a review on yelp. I have also never been with a management company this bad. There has been multiple times where the house that I rented was unlivable. The owner and management company have refused to replace an oven and stove that didn't work for over eight months. Do not ever rent from them if possible worst experience with customer service even trying to pay rent was a hassle. I can't wait till my lease is up. The service of Mgt1 has been outstanding during the over 10 years that I have been with the organization. The reason I got a property management company to manage my rental, is so that my tenants would receive full 24/7 service at an industry level standard. Also that rental applicants would be screened so that only quality, qualified tenants would be accepted. Recently my tenant moved on and Joe was able to get a new tenant within about a month and kept rehab cost very low. I highly recommend Mgt1 if you're looking to have your rental property(ies) serviced without having to personally deal with the headaches of filling vacancies, collecting rents and performing maintenance at a reasonable, competitive price. read more

I am writing this review on behalf of my mother and family friend who both rented from this company. Please considering reading this before you sign a contract with this company! I promise you'd regret renting from this company. DONT DO IT! Read the fine print on your contract. Of course rent will continue to increase, but that is far from your worries. You will FOREVER be harassed by this company. Notices regarding violations and fines will be delivered randomly. Photos of property will be taken at any time, without notice. If no action is taken, prepare to be "fined". It's like having a HOA x's 10. Inspections are ridiculous and strict. They even all of sudden asked that we take down our trampoline that had been there since she moved in due to renters policy and it being a hazard. Again she abided by the policy even though the owner whom lived across the street never made this request. They were decent company 5 years ago, but are now trash due to their poor customer service, specifically employee by the name of Silvio. This man works for the company in Riverside CA off of Indiana Ave. This idiot even had the nerve to send my mother a warning when her trash cans were out on trash day saying that she would be fined if they were not put away. She called him after I compared the photo that he took along with the same one she took arriving home stating that she was not even given 24 hours as she ALWAYS puts them away. A-hole didn't apologize and said "It was just a warning". I mean what kind of joke is this! What kind of business are they running and who are they hiring here. Oddly the harassment started as soon as her notice was sent that she would be leaving the property! This man tried to bribe her with a Starbucks gift card so that she could post a review. Lol Some nerve! I hope the owner understands the type of man he hired! These tenants have been loyal, paid their rent on time and took care of their rented properties, yet they still got harassed. My mother even had multiple referrals because she at one point liked the company. I am beyond pissed for them and hope that YOU reconsider or look for another company. They NEVER pick up their phone, so forget requesting services for maintenance on the house. Their employees frequently change which is also a red flag. They can't seem to keep anyone employed there. New people every time you call. This review is mainly for my mother who is a wonderful human being who is/was loved by her fellow neighbors within that neighborhood. She always received multiple compliments from neighbors and the prior employees employed by this company. She won multiple gift cards due to her cleanliness and is now being treated like this because she's moving on to better things. She has now received her deposit in the sum of chump change due to things that she should have not been held accountable for after almost 8 years. She understood there would be certain things that she would need to cover, however Silvio went above and beyond as the rest of the reviews say below me. He listed Petty things which in my eyes were wear and tear! Still she understood there would be some charges. My favorite note - "A broken vanity hinge" is what he stated on the receipt of deposit as "damaged" - Photo displayed a target towel hook she purchased in a drawer. I am baffled and believe this moron has no clue what he is doing. I hope this review helps a family reconsider and helps them do more research prior to renting from them. As a owner of two properties, Management one has been the best. I have been with Management one for at least 25 years and think we may have been one of the first of Management one clients. I have had a few things come up in the past 25 years (probably the first 5 years) but Management one was always on top of things when it came to fixing our disagreements. I love all the people who work at Management One. Steve, Joseph, Lee, Silvio, Kristen and oh lord another one of my favorites and I forgot his name. I speak to him every time I call, he always answers the phone and knows me right away, he is the best and always so happy :)... I have taken unpaid time off work to accommodate inspections scheduled by property one on behalf of the property owner. Twice upon move-in, and once during the annual inspection, I was stood up by Management One staff. I was actually excited for the owners to see how nice I have made the yard in the last nine months, hoping to extend my lease for another year. I have decided that I can no longer deal with the unprofessional behavior of the management company and I will be moving out when my lease is up solely because of the management company. I intend to locate the property owners to public record so that they have as much advance notice as possible because it is not their fault. I offered to meet with their inspector during non-work hours, but they can only perform inspections before 4 PM. read more

Please do not rent from Management one, this company robbed me for almost 2000.00 dollars on my deposit once I left the property. I was the cleanest renter and paid my rent on time, according to the owner who lived across the street from me, had a great few years till they hire the new property Inspector (Silvio) who made sure to charge me for everything in the house for things that were not even my obligation like, sprinkler system in the property back yard over 400 plus dollars when I took care of that home like it was mine . So disgusted by all the fees even fees for loose door knobs in the bathroom vanity is beyond ridiculous to charge me to get back at me due that I would not give him a great review on his walk-through and I refuse, please be careful cause at the end you get taking advantage of , the owner loved me, as well as my neighbors and was very upset that I was moving and this company did nothing to help. I really appreciate Steve from the maintenance department, he is an exceptional employee. And always gets all the repairs done in a timely manor. I do however, find it stressful to work with Ran, she is fake nice. She has no empathy for any situation and cares little for you as a person. Her accent is horribly difficult to understand so it can make for a frustrating experience. I did originally gave 5 stars on here but after being forced to communicate with Ran several times its left a bad taste in my mouth. Hopefully my next experience is better so I can leave a more positive review. read more

We have been in our current home with Management One for just over 11 years. We love our home and are grateful to live here. Unfortunately, we are long time renters. This is the only company I have ever worked with that raises the rent every single year, No matter what. But, with that said, I have never had an issue with the staff. Today we met Julio during our inspection, very personable and a pleasure to work with. He addressed some repairs that we need, and some that are already in the works. As long as you do what your supposed to as a tenant, you shouldn't have any issues. read more

Worked with management one for years we never really thought they had good service but since we move state to state they were just convenient. Their communication was horrible from the beginning but we hardly needed to speak with them so we let it go. However they make mistakes that a company managing your house should not make. Their accounting department has had as many turnovers as the trump administration. Whenever they hired someone new the were worse then the one that left. Our experience didn't really get bad until we had to deal with them for evicting our tenant (note to everyone if you're paying the 10% so that they can handle evictions if you chose to sell after they evict the tenant you are charged for the eviction lawyer fees). Our biggest issue is their communication is HORRIBLE they also took money out of our tenants deposit which is not what the deposit is for. The only one there with half a brain is Iesha. Conrad is not half bad either but he's not that great either Steve the inspection guy should probably be running the place he had great communication and FOLLOW-UP. Do your research and see if there are any other companies out there that are better this one writes contracts that make sure they screw you no matter what route you go! read more
