We were looking for a new gymnastics class for my 8 yr old grand daughter after being at YMCA…read moregymnastics for a few weeks and noticed their was really no instructing or structure in the class and she wasn't learning anything. I came across this place and decided to give it a try. First/ second win was a free Trial class, YMCA did not offer that and the monthly tuition is also cheaper!!! The coach is very involved and has the girls moving, there are no long lapses with time. My grand daughter finds it much more challenging but she really enjoys it and is learning so much more. I deducted 1 point because there is not a lot of seating for the adults even when you arrive early.

My daughter has been competing with them since she was 5. She is now 13 and a Level 6 gymnast…read more This gym has great coaches and many classes for all levels. They also have a time for Open Gym for everyone to come in and try the different apparatus. This facility is also a premier facility for dryland diving training. One of the owners, Andy Kwan, competed in the 1984 Olympics and is also a diving coach there. Another class that is offered is Adult Gymnastics and yes, I actually participate in it. It is offered only on Fridays at 6:30-7:30. I enrolled in it to support my daughter and strengthen our bond since I am on the floor when her and her teammates are practicing. It's fun to with them, but I keep it brief lest their coaches see them being distracted from practicing! ;) My confidence and strength are growing as well as my flexibility. I can say with confidence that I am the oldest person in the class (48!), but I feel like I have a lot of fun. Honestly, my favorite apparatus to be on is the Balance Beam and I'm not the smallest person. I surprised myself and my daughter when I got on it for the first time and I nailed a full turn without falling. Go ahead and try it! That sucker is only 4 inches wide!

I had been looking forward to it ever since--and it turned out to be absolutely the right decision. Our tour organizer, Charlie, guided us through the week with incredible experience and deep knowledge. He made sure we were always safe, comfortable, and engaged, and he led the trip with warmth, care, and a great sense of fun. And Tara and the rest of the staff were also very professional and friendly, and they created a wonderful tour where we could fully experience the whales and the surrounding nature with all our senses. I was the only participant coming from outside the States, but I quickly became friends with everyone on the trip, they were so nice. Even now, a month after returning from Mexico, I often find myself remembering those amazing moments--the feeling of touching a whale, the cool night breeze over the water, and the spray from the motorboat as we headed out into the lagoon. They remain such vivid and exciting memories. The desert landscapes, the cold burritos (beans and cheese!) we nibbled on in the boat--everything about the trip still sparkles in my mind. Thank you so much, Charlie. The whales remind us how small and humble we humans really are. If someone is thinking about joining a whale tour, I highly recommend Charlie's tour.
