There's a lake nearby and different routes you can take. There are a few trashcans and they are usually pretty full on the weekends. So if you have little ones make sure they stay to one side just in case. I like going through the tunnel near the golf course. It's kinda fun, then when you exit the other side you go through another one and there is a little water if you go a bit further in. Very peaceful little hike. Few years ago it used to have hills they made for the dirt bikes and someone had built a cute little flower garden it was really sweet. I was really sad when someone tore all that down. It follows multiple streets and hosts a plethora of wild life in the canyon and brush inside the paths perimeters. I personally loved this trail, coming here on a Friday evening with plenty of parking street side. The trail is clearly marked with plenty of posting of the rules and the walk is at your own pace. They have two dedicated sides, splitting in the middle. One is for bikers and the other for hikers and horseback. The trails themselves are a bit steeper but still make for an easy hike hosting a great bit of sights, off shoots to the main trail and plenty of wildlife to keep you occupied. I really enjoyed the 3.4 mile hike and it made for a great evening. The trails can be slightly confusing but as long as you stick to the main path it will be great for anything from exercise to a fun nature walk!
