I was in the diner on Monday and after asking for my normal waitress (Beth) I was told she's no longer working there. I asked what happened because everytime we would come in she was our pick. After hearing what happened it makes me believe that the management here doesn't treat their employees the way they deserve to be treated. Great employees like Beth are hard to find! I will not be back as I won't support any small business who treats employees like this. Remember it's your employees that keep guests coming back and word travels fast. read more

Love this place! Been eating here for a long time. Our favorite server is Mary! The food is always delicious. Onion rings are to die for!

We like the location of the Pacific Diner and the menu looks very interesting. We were greeted at the door and seated at a booth looking out at the street. So far so good. We ordered the Island breakfast with scrambled eggs and portuguese sausage. My better half ordered the homemade corned beef hash with soft poached eggs. Our waitress Tammy had to put all of this in an ipad-like device that seemed to take a lot longer than the usual paper pad. The problems started when Tammy told us that they don't poach eggs but could baste them. She likes eggs soft boiled or poached to avoid frying them in oil but she tried basted. Both dishes were very disappointing. The portion of hash was the smallest we have ever been served in any restaurant and the taste was just okay. The basted eggs were cooked with oil so that wasn't what she wanted. The portuguese sausage was presented with a lot of the fat on the plate which wasn't good. They had too much cumin and didn't taste very good. I've never had worst sausage at any restaurant in Las Vegas! The scrambled eggs were good but all in all not like what you expect from any decent breakfast restaurant. No problems with the staff but the kitchen didn't keep up their end. Once was enough for us. read more

I don't particularly see the allure for the place - it's just your basic diner and our food was just as basic. Unfortunately for us the food wasn't a proper temperature eggs were hot and potatoes / everything else was less than room temperature and wasn't appetizing. read more

I live nearby and wanted to love the food here but it's just mediocre I'm sad to say. I had steak and eggs and steak was dry and tasted frozen. Coffee isn't great either. The interior fails to reach the old school diner charm I assume they were going for. The location demands something great given the lack of competition, but this just encourages you to drive the ten minutes to get a real breakfast. Service was fine but unmemorable. read more

Well, decided to give this place a shot after reading some 4 star reviews. I ordered ham steak, eggs, biscuits & gravy My buddy went with the chili... really good Nice bite & meaty. On to breakfast. Can you get a good biscuit anywhere? Hard as a rock, had to use my ham knife to cut it. Gravy was tasteless salty white blob. Ham was a 6 inch slice of something. Service was OK.. Could have better food at local casino for half the price. Usually I give a place another chance. Hope the next visit is better. read more

Okay, so I'll keep this shorter then I want to. My lady ordered 45 dollars plus of food, Literally two things were good. 9 dollars for 2 doughy biscuits is a sin. Their bacon and hash browns tasted like card board. The corned beef hash was disgusting. The eggs sitting on top of the hashbrowns tasted like card board. I gave this a 1 star because for the price and quality of food. Gordon Ramsey could do a episode of kitchen nightmares here... read more

The family and I gave this place a try today since we were in the area. We had the Denver omelet, Western omelet, corn beef and hash, and pancakes. Everything was just okay. Nothing really wowed us, but it's worth giving it a try. read more

One of my favorite breakfast spots! They treat you like family, food is great and prices are reasonable. Highly recommended!

Staff was nice and friendly. However, the food was greasy and very much just ok. The room was a old dinner put into a cold concrete room.

Great food. Great service. Very happy e we found this gem. We will be back. I had chicken fried steak it was excellent. Husband had corned beef hash. Good flavor but just not right, made with way too many hash browns read more

Needed a quick bite to eat and found this place. The food was delicious! The French toast, waffles, and banana pancakes were amazing but what was even better than all the food was the service!! Our waitress Rachel had the best customer service. You don't find this type of service anymore and I would come back just to be served by Rachel. Thank you for making our first trip to Pacific Diner an awesome one!! read more

Did not look like much on the outside but service was outstanding, owner was super friendly and food was great! We had biscuits and gravy was yummy and the bacon cheese burger very good. We will definitely be back. read more

Took an hour for my food, coffee is bland cheese for my burrito was bland server was nice kept saying sorry for the wait on food .

I wanted to like this as it`s a new local place. However, Disappointing is all I can say. 3 of us went for Sunday breakfast. Kids each had pancakes, 1 was a short stack of 2 plain.. the other was banana walnut with 2. Nothing else included with them. 2 plain $6.00..., 2 with a smear of smashed bananas in between the 2 & a few walnut pieces on top-was terrible-$9.00. My rock hard biscuits were covered in a goopy tasteless flour mess that was supposed to be gravy. Over easy eggs were instead hard fried and seasoned potatoes were dry, UNSEASONED in any way reheated small cubes of potatoes. The whole unappetizing breakfast was $34.00...Ridiculous for what was served to us. Should've stayed home. Also, was presented with someone else's ticket and took them forever to straighten it out. Will NOT be back read more

Tried this place as I enjoy trying locally owned restaurants as opposed to chains. Also, the reviews & pictures looked over all pretty good. Well, what a disappointment. Dreary restaurant, nothing spectacular waitstaff/service and less than impressive food. Maybe this place had better cooks/management/wait staff in the past; but I can tell you it for sure does NOT now. Try Babystacks or Sunrise Cafe, or take a drive to Boulder City to one of the local breakfast joints for an all around better experience. read more

Solid diner in the middle of rhe town. Stacy was great and the crew seem to really enjoy their guests. Social distancing was very comfortable during breakfast time. read more

We have driven by this diner numerous times in the past year, we finally decided to stop and try there food and much to our surprise, we really not only liked there food, but the service was excellent, Amanda was friendly and went out of her way to make sure we're taken care of. We have found a new place that we can look forward to breakfast on the weekends. If you haven't tried the Pacific Diner yet, do it, you won't be sorry. read more

Went here for brunch with the Husband. Food was great. Service was Great! The manager Wendy is an absolute breath of fresh air! Will be back for sure!! read more

I'm regular here and normally love the service, but today I went in and had a less than average service experience. I waited over an hour for my food which is ridiculous. I noticed the service staff today was different than normal, the kind woman who normally works the front was not there. I can't say that I will be coming back anytime soon. Shame, I really enjoyed it here. read more

Been here twice once for breakfast and once for lunch. Food was really good!! Cute little diner! I will definitely be back!

First time at PD. Service was great & so was the food. Choice of breakfast or lunch is nice.

Just left there a couple hours ago after my first visit. I had the chicken sandwich and my wife had the philly steak. We were both happy. I took the food to go, since our office is just around the block. Server was friendly and helpful, food was good and reasonably priced. Will return. It's nice to see another good restaurant addition to the Water Street area! read more

Looks old from outside, but inside, it had been renovated in a red/black diner motif. The music is uplifting and many patrons were bobbing their heads (it wasn't too loud either). Just a nice mood to make us feel comfortable. We go out for breakfast a lot and being new to the area, we are trying all the places we can. So, we've tried pancakes, French toast, scrambles, etc. all over. We especially loved the tender, flavorful pancakes. Being vegetarian, I also enjoyed the scramble with spinach and mushrooms (you get to choose 2) and the yummy potatoes. The waitresses are a bit of a throwback to the olden days, making it even more like a diner. We laughed and made friends quickly, even though it was the first time we were there. We plan on returning again soon, bringing some of our neighbors. It's the kind of place you want to bring others to. read more

Very nice eatery in downtown Henderson. My husband and I enjoy breakfast here at least once a week. Marvin and staff are great and are always willing to help in any way. read more

Had the opportunity to have lunch here today. The service was awesome. The staff was friendly and helpful. I had the French dip and my husband had a burger. I had a salad w my sandwich it was nice to get something besides lettuce in a salad. My husbands burger was thick and juicy. The food was fresh and the serving sizes were spot on. The prices were comparable to other places but I think the quality of the food here was worth every penny. My husband and I really enjoyed our lunch and we will definitely go back. The restaurant is super cute and very clean. read more

The food was great and the service was even better. If you live or are ever in Henderson, you need to try this place!

This was our first time dining here and it won't be our last. The food, service and atmosphere was great! This will be our new breakfast/lunch spot. We loved it! read more

We went for breakfast and had a great experience. Super friendly staff, very clean tables, the food was delicious, and the price was great! Pancakes have a yummy vanilla flavor and the sausage gravy tastes like my grandma made it. We will definitely go back. read more

Adorable diner. Service was fantastic and the food was good too. Very reasonable prices.

Great breakfast stop. In Henderson running some errands and googled places for breakfast and the Pacific Diner was the nearest restaurant to us. So glad we stopped here to eat. Food was good, service was great everyone friendly and helpful. Would eat here again if ever in Henderson. read more

This is our weekend place to go for breakfast or lunch. Great omelets, club sandwiches, BLTs, french fries, potato salad and more. Great, friendly and efficient staff. Comfortable, social distancing. Highly recommend the Pacific Diner. :-) read more

The food was fresh and delicious. The sevice and staff also welcoming and exceptional.

This place is a joke! Food was gross, and service was slow and rude! Don't waste your time or money here!

The staff at Pacific Diner were all very accommodating to me and my son. They helped make brunching with a toddler a fun and happy outing. They even offered to put the picture my little boy colored on their wall. Yes, the food was good - but, the staff was even better! read more

I came into the diner for my first time this last weekend and had a horrible experience. The wait staff seemed to be lost with whose table was whose. Then it took forever for someone to come get my drink and order: I ordered chicken fried steak and eggs with hash browns. I was very disappointed as this is one of my favorite breakfast dishes. The steak itself was greasy and cold, the country gravy was floury and lacked flavor(and there was a very light amount of gravy) and the hash browns were so so so greasy. Also mind you it took about 45 min to get my food. I would not come back to this restaurant. read more

Let me start by saying I love supporting local hot spots. This place has a cute little local charm. The food is ok. The corned beef hash was not to be desired, meat was tough. They do have good omelets and breakfast burritos. I did find out this weekend that our favorite waitress Stacie is no longer with them. She was the main reason we went in. She always greeted us with the warmest smile and the way she handled the customers was impressive. She knew what people wanted. I want to continue supporting this local establishment but they do need to liven up the wait staff as the new staff is just not near as friendly and could most definitely take a play from Stacies book. They don't check on us as often and just not as friendly (kind of a flat weight staff). We are not giving up on Pacific Diner, we are just hoping to see a liveliness from them :) I would love to know where Stacie went as I would probably follow her anywhere, that is how good of a waitress she is. read more

This a great place with very good food. I've tried biscuits and gray at several places and all except two places I have sent it back. Pacific Diner has great biscuits and gravy and the most fluffy omelets I've had in a long time. I will definitely eat there again. read more
