Rates have gone up by nearly 50% since 2017 ($100/hr vs $70/hr). Side to side placement of snap fittings did not match the original which was being modified/repaired - I'll have to fill old and drill new locations in the fiberglass. Blech. PCC built my dodger on a new Jeanneau last June. A lot can hold things up during the commissioning process, but not these guys. They did great work and fast! I've received a lot of compliments on the dodger since and it's holding up really well! Recently had them install solar on the dodger and do some other minor repairs. I ordered a new mainsail cover from PCC to replace the old one, along with repairing the dodger boot cover and various replacement covers for the cockpit, including a new binnacle cover. I contacted Eric after he was recommended by a few dock neighbors who were very happy with his canvas work. Our boat had about 15 Sunbrella items needing replacement, everything except the dodger and bimini which had been redone in 2007 by someone else. He did a great job on every item. Several were probably pretty easy. But some required major changes or a complete redesign since they weren't working well for us. We've had our boat for 10 years so we knew what needed improving upon and had ideas. The best part is that I could show and explain a problem item, throw out an idea or two and then Eric would come up with something even better. Update. The Pacific Crest canvas is still working great and looks new. Interestingly, a friend who purchase a factory new Beneteau at the same time I did and chose another Seattle based canvas maker [who has opened a satellite office in the Bay Area] is already having quality issues with his canvas...specifically the dodger which is ripping at the snaps. I've been in several crazy high-wind situation and the Pacific Crest has performed exceptionally well. Posted this on 5/15 and I don't know why it appears as though it was deleted: I asked several canvas makers to propose on providing for my new sailboat, and Pacific Crest was clearly the best in terms of price, quality, and service. Six months after the installation we are very happy with the custom dodger and bimini + matching window covers, sheet bags, and canvas covers for our winches, exterior table, BBQ, and two binnacles. All custom work was fitted perfectly to the boat and even when up against gale force winds it has performed extremely well - proof of their craftsmanship. The Pacific Crest team used some of the finest/most durable materials available including high quality Sunbrella marine canvas, 60mil polycarbonate windows, long lasting PTFE thread, and high-grade stainless steel metal frames. Moreover, because we have had issues with water leaking through deck penetrations in previous boats, Pacific used 3M adhesive snaps rather than screws in areas where water intrusion might become problematic over time. Besides the responsiveness and good price point, what we appreciated most was Pacific Crest's honest advice throughout the process which built trust. I would not hesitate recommending them to others and will certainly rely on them going forward. read more

They did a dodger recover for us, and added steel tube strength members to improve the old and feeble frame that was on the boat. Custom hand rails were also installed. I had a full boat cover made for my Folkboat. Complication was that I had to have it made while I was away for months, so I advanced a lot of trust to these folks. They did not let me down. I have to say they exceeded my expectations by paying attention to details and doing the extras they could have reasonably avoided. These folks know boat canvas and dd a great job with design and craftsmanship and a fair price. I have had lousy work done by other folks and it just does not pay in a boating situation. I contacted Pacific Coast after seeing negative reviews about a competitor. I'm not disappointed that I contacted them and had them produce new covers for our main sail, our wheel, and the grill. We had a dodger cover that had ripped, and they were able to restitch this without replacing.
