Dr. Babayan treats all three of my children, now teenagers and young adults, as well as me. Saying that he has changed our lives would be an understatement. I was referred to him after we had exhausted every possible avenue in search of answers for my daughter's chronic pain. At that point, I felt completely overwhelmed and out of options. Dr. Babayan quickly gave us hope and then delivered meaningful results. Each of my children has underlying health conditions and Dr. Babayan's expertise, compassion, and dedication have unquestionably changed the course of their lives. He is not only an exceptional physician, but also an extraordinary human being. Our family is extremely grateful to be in his care. read more

I am so grateful to Dr. T Ashrafzadeh (Dr. A.) and all of the work she has done to help my 6 year old with her palate expander. Right away she made my nervous little girl feel so comfortable in her office. She has made such a positive impact on my daughters health. The work she does is so specialized and intricate, its amazing to watch her work! She is devoted and focused during the sessions with my daughter- you can tell that she really loves what she does. I am so glad that we found her. It is worth every penny watching my little BALANCED girl skip out of her office saying "I feel different!" Another thing that is great about Dr. A is that she is a fellow mom, who understands kids and how they operate! read more

I just wanted to add to my previous review that she's amazing fir sports injuries as my son plays travel baseball and has suffered many, including a sprained finger, broken hand, and strained quadriceps. Dr. Tina has helped him more than any other doctor or physical therapist! Recently he was having so much trouble because his thigh was so tight and after receiving his treatment he said he felt so much better, plus you could feel that the tightness was much less afterwards. read more

Dr. b has been truly a godsend for me. I've been seeing Dr B twice a week for nearly 2 years and he has honestly changed my life in so many ways. I was bed bound for months after getting autoimmune neurological symptoms after COViD and I went to literally a hundred doctors before him and nearly gave up before i found his services because nobody was taking a wholistic view of my health except for him. Since then, he has not only transformed my health and given me the ability to exercise/socialize/etc, but also has given me confidence in knowing the root cause of all of my symptoms, has improved my lifestyle, my mindset, relationships, and more. I have never met someone so perfectly able to quickly understand the intricacies of each persons problems, provide hands-on relief, and then to communicate them in a humble and compassionate way. I literally cannot stop recommending him to people in my life because he is as close to a miracle worker as I have seen and every appointment I come away gaining so much progress and learning so much. I am forever grateful to him and he will always be my go-to doctor for any problem large or small! read more

I started seeing Dr Babayan sometime last year for an issue with neck stiffness and pain. He not only helped me improve the stiffness in my neck, but he also helped me to improve my overall health and well-being. I should also mention that he has helped me to be mindful of my own ability to get out of the way and let my body take care of itself. Dr Babayan is not only an incredible Doctor and Osteopath, he is also an amazing and caring human being. If you are tired of visiting your conventional doctor and not getting answers, I highly recommend Dr. Babayan without hesitation! read more

Dr Ash is my saviour. I'm 20 years old and started seeing her nearly 6 months ago. I came to her after developing incredible pain in my lower back, horrible sciatica, a numb left leg which had caused my toes to curl and also some dislocated ribs which I didn't know existed! I'm australian and had met my Mum in Hawaii early November. Mum ended up coming back to LA with me as I was not good. Previous to this I had been on steroids from my General practitioner. This made it worse and I ended up calling him in tears which is when he prescribed me Tramadol and a referral for a neurologist. I had been taking up to 12 Advil per day as the pain was so bad. The day Mum came back we saw the neurologist who ordered an MRI. The MRI showed a minor bulging disc but she said it wouldn't be causing all of this. She booked me in for a nerve test (EMG) but not for 6 weeks. Feeling completely defeated, Mum started researching. Back home, we have osteopaths, physios and myotherapists we see religiously but it's not as common here. Mum found Dr Ash and called her to see what she can do. On my first appointment she identified, yes, I had horrible sciatica and another nerve damage as well as my ribs. I saw Dr Ash every week for a couple of months and now we've moved to every 2 weeks. After a few sessions, I had all feeling in my leg and the lower back pain had pretty much gone. My ribs have been a pressing issue but everytime, Dr Ash puts them back in and away we go. She has also removed a lot of heaviness and stuff (as she calls it) from my head. I suffered multiple concussions as a child and never realised that I had a constant headache. It's now gone! I've been sleeping so much better and she also gives me great nutrition advice. Dr Ash is not only an amazing osteopath she is one of the most kind and caring person I've ever met. She's always here for me to email if I don't feel right or switches things around so she can fit me in. I seriously wouldn't know what I'd do without her! read more

You must go to these doctors!!! If you have any kind of pain, go see Dr. Ashrafzadeh or Dr. Babayan. I have been treated by both of them and they are truly gitfted physicians. My main doc is Dr. Ashrafzadeh. I was sent to Dr. Ashrafzadeh by my GP for chronic back and hip pain. I have been in pain from a car accident for 15 years. She is the only physician to ever tell me I would be pain free. I have tried everything so I did not know what to expect. The treatments started making a difference after about 3 visits. Over 3 months we were able to go from weekly, to bi-weekly to almost once a month visits. In that time, I went from taking 3 pain pills a day to NONE. The fact that nobody told me about this type of treatment in 15 years made me mad and I am so blessed to have found Dr. Ash. I got to a point when I actually had days I could not remember what the pain felt like. This after countless rounds of tests, physical therapy, cortisone shots, pain management doctors, etc. Ok, so that is the clinical part of the review - I had pain, she made me feel better. The results speak for themselves. What you cannot get from a review is how completely dedicated she is. Her manner of treating makes you feel like she cares about ALL of you, not just whatever has brought you there. I am about to start my son (11 and has ADHD) for treatments. I am telling everyone I know about this treatment and about their practice. If you feel more comfortable with a male physician, Dr. Babayan is wonderful. Kind demeanor, very patient. I'm not sure what else I can say but that I think that if everyone saw them, the world would be a happier place. This is true healing. If you are tired of feeling badly, go see them. You will be a changed person. I am. read more

Dr. Ashrafzadeh truly has magic hands! My infant son began showing signs of plagiocpehaly around 2 months of age. Our pediatrician told us to "wait and see," and by five months old the plagio was measuring in the severe range. We were referred to a cranial orthotist and a neurosurgeon to be measured for a helmet. I was completely overwhelmed at the prospect of months of "helmet therapy," and was doing some online research when I stumbled upon Pacific Coast Osteopathy. From the moment we walked in to Dr. A's office I began to feel at ease. She really took the time to listen to our family's concerns and connected with us on a personal level. She exudes a confidence that is so reassuring, and she even explained a lot of the manipulations she was doing as she progressed through the treatments so we felt like we were all a part of the process. These treatments ended up being among the best decisions that my husband and I have made for our son. They have helped him in ways that a helmet never could. For instance, his sphenoid bone was out of place, preventing his sinuses from draining at night and causing an endless stuffy nose (and endless restless nights). That was fixed the first week! His digestion had always had a bit of trouble in the early months, but she corrected it by taking pressure off of his vagus nerve. I'm rambling now, but I can't believe this treatment was so gentle, effective, and even ended up being less expensive than the crazy helmet. Best of all, after just six visits my son's plagiocephaly is now undetectable. His eyes are symmetrical and aligned, and his other issues are long forgotten. He didn't suffer for months in an uncomfortable orthotic device, but instead received the kindest healing touch from one of LA's greatest doctors. If you are in a similar position and looking for help with plagiocephaly, I cannot recommend this office enough. As a final note, I wanted to mention that I saw Dr. A for treatments myself and they were also amazing in their own right. She is a true healer and incredible doctor (helping me with back pain and even mastitis!) If you are searching for someone who is invested in helping you feel your best and who has a vibe like a close friend, then give this office a call. Your body will thank you! read more

Dr. Ashrafzadeh and Dr. Babayan are amazing medical doctors who also are amazing Osteopaths! This combination has kept me and my children healthy and strong in an ongoing, preventative way. We have never had this kind of health and well being from any other Doctor. You are heard, received, nourished and lifted in your sessions with these amazing physicians. We all know that prevention and ongoing support is how we side step the surprise of disease later on and I have never experienced such health in my body, mind and heart. Me and my 3 children have hit a new level of well being in their care. I choose to see them both monthly in an ongoing way to keep me in stride with my greatest growth and health. Thank you deeply Pacific Coast Osteopathy! We love and cherish you! read more

Our entire family has been seeing Dr. Ashrafzadeh and Dr. Babayan for the past year and a half. They have been instrumental in my own postpartum healing, as well as correcting my son's torticollis and plagiocephaly. It is rare to find doctors that will REALLY hold space and listen to you, not to mention their hands are magic! After a couple sessions, my son's plagiocephaly was greatly reduced and he began sleeping better, nursing better, etc. Osteopathy addresses issues systemically and your entire wellbeing is better for it. Apart from some providers I have personally encountered, Dr. Ash and Dr. Babayan's goals are to get to the root of the issue and see you off healthy, without a ton of unnecessary visits. I only regret not finding them earlier! read more

Dr. Ash and her husband are such AMAZING physicians. I can best describe the sessions I've experienced with Dr. Ash as "soulfully deep" and beautifully healing. One feels as though they are talking to a dear friend, as you are being treated. With these treatments, I am becoming more and more in my body, after having experienced some things in my life that left me feeling disconnected. Sooooo wonderful to have Osteopathic Physicians that think outside the box in the way they treat and heal their patients. Thank you!! read more

I went to Pacific Coast Osteopathy at my mother behest. I am a person with cerebral palsy and experienced a stroke 5 years ago. At first, i was reluctant; there is nothing "wrong" with me. I am healthier than i have ever been and was tired of medical doctors who had no room for my own input about my own body. However, when Dr. Ashrafzedah started collaborating with me to optimize me holistically, mind, body and spirit, i realized i found healing that helped expand rather than then just maintain myself. She listened to my ideas on what was happening in my life and my body and had a gentle healing touch when working with me physically. Although I did not work with Dr Babayan, both of the doctors seemed to be to be true healers. I am grateful for their service read more

I can confidently recommend Dr.Ashrafzadeh and Dr. Babayan. Not only because I am a patient there but also because they were my amazing fellows in medical school. They were great teachers; kind, patient, knowledgeable and skillful. These characteristics have only gotten stronger over the years. And now, as they are treating me, I can say they are amazing practitioners as well. If you are new to osteopathy, don't hesitate, these are the doctors you want to see. Not only are they good at what they do but they are kind, lovely people. If you're looking for a practitioner with a great bedside manner and more holistic approach to healthcare, look no further. read more

My 2.5 year old son had fluid in his ears that would not go away. Our ENT said that if it did not clear we were going to have to put tubes in his ear (via surgery). In an effort to prevent surgery, I visited Dr Ash. After spending 1 session with her, our ENT said that the fluid had 95% cleared. We literally had a visit with an ENT on Wednesday (fluid was still there), visited Tina on Thursday for a treatment, and then at our Friday ENT visit the fluid was almost all gone. I'm so grateful to her for her work! Thank you! read more

Dr. Ash is a miracle worker!! She has been able to help me recover from two traumatic brain injuries, where I was in a severe amount of pain, had sensitivity to light and sound, and was in a world of hurt. Dr. Ash has healing hands!! I cannot recommend her more highly than I do. She's my go-to for any chronic or continuing aches or pains. read more

I have been treated and healed through two different injury episodes. The first was a rotatory cuff injury that resolved after two treatments. The second was more complicated, centering in my knee, with quite a bit of tendinitis. Dr. Babayan is intuitive and understands how complex the human body is. He works on your entire body, skull, neck, arms, legs, tail etc., all to get your body in good working order. What amazes me is: I feel better right after treatment, I feel better still the next morning and three days later I can sense that I am mending, I am walking with a different gait and my balance is improved. Thank you for your amazing care. read more

I've been seeing Dr. Babayan for 3 months for multiple long term postural, hip, neck, back, pelvic and nerve issues, which are all now being resolved. I love that osteopathy gently addresses body, mind and spirit over a period of time, and positions the body to heal on its own. I can absolutely and highly recommend Dr. B. He is patient, kind, skilled and thorough in his treatments. Prior to coming to him, I had seen many healthcare practitioners (several M.D. specialists, as well as acupuncturists, chiropractors and massage therapists) about the nerve, back and hip issues without having improvements. Dr. Babayan and his wife, Dr. Ash are have created a healing practice that is extraordinary. read more

Pacific Coast is beyond delightful! My visit was peaceful and Dr.Ash & Dr. Babayan were both so welcoming and were easy to get along with. They talked to me about everything necessary and made sure that nothing was left for the next visit. I went in due to a stiff neck. I used to get a pinched nerve almost every month. After being treated by both Dr. Ash & Dr. Babayan, my pain has gone away! I can't remember the last time I have felt any pain in my neck! They are truly amazing people and have done so much for others like myself. I am forever grateful. Greatest luck to them and make sure you make an appointment to visit their beautiful office & to become pain free! read more

The healing begins as soon as you enter the office of Pacific Coast Osteopathy! There is a beautiful fountain and garden just outside the office windows, and once you walk inside, there is a sense of tranquility and balance. Dr. Ashrafzadeh treated me while I was pregnant to help my body prepare for a natural delivery, and to treat the round ligament pain that was bothering me at all hours of the day and night! After my baby was born, I took my son to see Dr. Ash, and she helped to facilitate the recovery of his little head, body, and nervous system following his trip through the birth canal. Although it wasn't a traumatic birth per se, I believe that the journey through the birth canal can cause issues that people accept as "normal." I truly believe in preventative "medicine" which is why I took him for a treatment even though he didn't experience any complications. As a result, my son never had any gastro-intenstinal issues, colic, or issues with latching on to my breast to nurse. He and I still go to maintain our physical and emotional wellness. Dr. Ash is gentle, nurturing, and an amazing healer and doctor. I highly recommend osteopathy and Dr. Ashrafzadeh!!! read more

After I was successfully treated by Dr. Ash and Dr. Babyan for chronic back pain and vertigo, I've since gone to them regarding fertility issues. It's been years since I've had a regular menstrual cycle, it typically ranged from 35 - 55 days. My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for 5 yrs, we've seen fertility specialists (who all said we're both in good health and there are no apparent issues except ovulation is difficult to predict) even after a couple months of Clomiphene my cycle wasn't regular. After only a few months of treatments at Pacific Coast Osteopathy my cycle has been regular for 4 months in a row ranging from 29 - 31 days!!!! I will provide another update when I'm pregnant!! read more

My name is Janett, I am 21 years old. I've had back problems since I was 13 years old, I started to have severe stomach problems and started becoming allergic to many foods at age 17. I also had other minor health issues and I went to many doctors for my stomach and went to the chiropractor for about 7 years and my back problems never went away nor my stomach problems. Thankfully I came across Pacific Coast Osteopathy on yelp and I went and in less than ONE year all of my health issues are gone, my back pain.... gone, stomach issues... gone. Even my health got so much better overall! I am so much more energetic and vital and I have never felt so healthy in my life! Not only that but Dr. Ash is the sweetest person ever! I am 29 years old and for the past year or so I have suffered greatly from constant headaches/migraines. I started getting migraines suddenly after what we figured out might have been a slight concussive incident while driving. In a desperate plea to fix the solution rather than covering up the pain purely with medication, I sought out alternative answers. Dr. Ash and Dr. B have truly changed the course of my life. Although I still consider myself very active in the treatment process I have made a 180 as far as health is concerned. My migraines have almost disappeared and I do not have to struggle with daily headaches. I used to have to wear sunglasses indoors and while out and about as my eyes were extremely sensitive to lights. This is 100% no longer an issue. The part that is difficult to measure is how truly kind and caring these two healers are. They challenge my thought process on an emotional, spiritual, and physical level. This is truly a full body, mind and spirit approach to wellness. If being challenged in this way is uncomfortable then you probably have an ailment that is mind body connected. I sure do! There is not a requisite to accept everything that is said and they never challenge you in a negative way, but I do find myself opening up in ways that have truly supported my emotional growth and in turn manifests great physical change. On a physical level Dr. B has really worked wonders on my hips and given me a right side/left side balance that I had not had in years. As a previous dancer and past/current soccer player this has been truly healing. I am grateful for their honesty, gentle care and kind encouragement to reach a different and special version of optimal wellness. I recommend them with 100% of my heart. read more
